Carol- Congrats Girl you are PUPO

AFM- I went for U/S and my follies are looking awesome, ut the Nurse called and said my Estradol level is now 1700 which is making me nervous since I had OHSS before... thursday my E level was only 588, it took a huge jump... Has this happened to anyone else before??? I am already drinking gatorade hoping it helps before hand... I have to go for another U/S and B/W tomorrow and I asked the Nurse if she thought I would be triggering tomorrow and she said possible... I so hope so cause I dont want to get too much higher... I so need this fresh cycle...

RIO- What was your Estradol level when you went for ER??? You got to still do your ET so I am hoping they still let me too...

Girls please say prayers for me tonight that things stay where they are for my E level....

OMG! I am having SEVERE pain right now. It feels like my ovaries are about to burst. My tummy is so bloated and it hurts just to touch it. The pain is radiating to my lower back and I feel like I am going to pass out just going from sitting to standing. I have had ovulation cramps before, even some pain for a short time - but this has been going on for several hours and it seems like its getting worse. Anyone else had this? Could there be an infection this quickly? Should I just wait it out and see if it goes away? I hope it doesn't last too long.....

I just got off the phone with the nurse that was there at the IUI this morning. My regular OB was out of town, but one of his associates, another doctor, did the IUI - he called himself "Team B"... anyway... nurse said she suspected I could end up with OHSS. At my weigh-in this morning I had gained 3 pounds in two days, and knowing that I was releasing 7-8 follicles, there was a good chance. She said gatorade and tylenol and if not better or worse in a few hours, or if I start to have trouble breathing, to go to the ER. Good grief... this was supposed to be a happy day!

Kynlee - How did the US go today? Any movement on the ones under 10? Hope things are moving along nicely….did they give you a estimated ER day?

Margi - Thanks I wish Em was a good flyer, she is just so darn curious & super cute so everyone is always trying to talk to her & make faces, etc…. so she gets super excited by that and then she starts shrieking cause she is happy then she giggles & it just gets her so riled up then she wants out of the seat, etc…..so i think we will hold off until end of April when things are more settled, love the little bug but she is an energetic one! Can't wait for you BFP to show up! It will be any day now…..are you only POAS once a day or twice?

Lauren - Happy your pup is feeling better did she sleep better with you guys? I hope so but good practice for a newborn! They keep you up all hours of the night….I remember that your hubby is a FM I have a soft spot for them since my big brother is one & I am so uber proud of him! I hope she gets better with each day…….

Leorira - Fear not you will carry these babies & you will have two wonderful new beings in your life soon enough so get ready for the fun! I love that you are working for a Non-Profit that empowers women…that is awesome, the interview I went on is for a non-profit too but for a weekly market type of thing…praying I get my BFP for that too! BTW love the pics of your "Blobs"

Anton - Yea not a math genius! Thats for sure but I did know that just was thinking sooner than later! Haha! Sounds like US was good & you know having a new clinic with new protocol might just be what you need to get your BFP so don't fret just sit back & enjoy the no more needles ride, praying for lots of healthy eggs for you my friend that fertilize!I am anxious too but it is getting closer & closer for us we are almost there!

Carol/CJinNC - Time for you PMA to pump up! Close your eyes, relax & visualize your eggs getting fertilized by the little swimmers! Before you know it you will get your BFP & you will be dealing with all sorts of fun things! It's funny that all they have to do is giz in a cup and we have to stuff our bodies full of all kinds of foreign meds & objects but they have it harder! Hah! You know why god made women the ones who bare children it isn't cause we are the weaker sex that's for sure!

Tess69 - Welcome, so sorry to hear about your loss, but you are in the right place we are a bunch of PMA givers so we are hear to cheer you on. Are you doing a FET? I used to get migraines so bad I would lay under my bed & cry….can't imagine having them weekly! Can you take anything for them?

GreekChick - As I am sitting here in yet another snow storm I am sort of wishing I could come visit!

Kynlee - Praying for lots of nice follies tomorrow….we will be PUPO before you know it….

Kbillsy - Sounds like your follies are growing nicely….can't wait for your ER report….I have heard the progesterone in oil shots are not so nice but a trick I heard was to sit with you butt cheek on the counter then ice the area a little to soften the sting then do the shot then apply a warm compress to soften it back up so it doesn't bruise…hope it helps. My ET is Wednesday so we will be PUPO together too….

Tiger - Congrats on moving forward with IVF, it will be the one for you! Hopefully the nurses will get a grip & start treating everyone like a person and not a number that is a bummer part of this for you….but just keep doing what you are doing & you will have your BFP and baby in your arms in no time! I agree with the irony so funny that i am in this weird place & decided to no work so I can concentrate on DD and getting preggers then my dream job comes up…..really so weird! But if it comes about I will be one happy mama! (I think Carol/CJinNC has Menopur)

Lou - My friend, I know it is hard to not think of the past and feel that pain all over again. But this is a completely different pregnancy & this one is healthy & perfect so try to just think of the future not the past and be confident that this is YOUR baby and it will be coming home with you….keep your chin up


AFM - Appt yesterday went well estrogen at 515, progesterone at 0.4, LH at 5.7 and lining a little under 8 so with all that we are set for Wednesday the 16th…I was worried I may have ovulated on my own but with the test results no chance of that. It was funny we went to Costco after our appt & DD was like the devil re-incarnated in the store - I think she just had enough and was tired - anyways my DH looked at each & thought hmmmm do we REALLY want another one???? Of course we do but the timing was a bit funny.

As for the job - sent her my references as she requested & she has called most of them so that is a good sign she said she would let me know late next week so keeping my fingers crossed would be the icing on the cake pregnant & a new job!

Happy Saturday Ladies - Keep the PMA up & be happy just look to the future & realize you have the ability to change it and make it your own….

Tess - I cannot tell you how happy I am to see you here, after being cycle buddies twice I was so happy for you then so completely heartbroken for you and DH. I kept you in my prayers and here you are going for a baby, that makes me so happy!!!!!!!!

CJ - wow, I am sorry you hurt but you are PUPO!!!!

Kynlee - My E2 was low and I only got a late onset of OHSS, no sign of it until baby put HCG in my blood and completely unexpected, one those you showed no signs and had low E2 at first, but then at 11dpo I had E2 over 3,000 and bad OHSS, not horrible but bad. I hope OHSS stays away!

Tiger: SO happy for you!!! Nothing is 100%--especially not in the area of ART, but this is something different and I am sending tons of baby dust your way. Yeah! And believe me, you guys will be the 2nd to know when my BFP comes...right after DH....(notice I said when? I am trying to keep up my PMA)

Lou/Carol: Thanks for the Monday prediction....I will try to distract myself and not get too nutso if tomorrow is still a BFN....but I will get ready to show you all that BFP on Monday...let’s hope...

Lou: Glad that your symptoms have eased up...u/s on Tuesday will be reassuring. Is this your last one with RE?

Carol: So sorry you are feeling so horrible. Has it gotten any better this evening? Maybe you are reacting strongly to the trigger? I really hope not OHSS my friend. That is miserable. Drink Gatorade and REST, REST, REST. Make sure that you are peeing frequently. I never felt bad after IUI....if you aren’t better in am check in with RE for sure...

Tess: Hope the house painting went well..and I have no idea what beef stifado is, but it sounds yummy.

Kynlee: I am not an expert, but I think it is fairly normal for E2 level to jump as you get close to trigger. Are you having any bloating or weight gain? The time I had OHSS really bad I was already showing a lot of symptoms before ER, but as Rio said, sometimes it doesn’t show its ugly head until after you get preggo. Take it easy. Are they keeping your doses the same? This last cycle when my E2 was getting really high he really lowered my dose of both GonalF and Menopur. When they did that for a few days my E2 level actually came down by transfer (I was over 6000 at trigger day). Best of luck and please take care. Oh, also, they can trigger you with Lupron or else a lower dose of HCG are also possibilities--I only triggered with half the usual dose this past cycle.

Katie: Transfer on Wednesday!! Awesome!! So glad that everything is lined up perfectly with your levels and lining. So PUPO on Wed and new job possibly on Thursday or Friday, excellent indeed! How many are you transferring? I am in the POASing twice a day stage for sure now...

Margi - had to jump in here to check for your posts again, I can't wait for that BFP news, remember some of us don't even get a + HPT until AFTER our beta day! So do those for fun but remember how evil they are and how they lie... PMA girl - there is just no way that this cycle didn't work - IMPOSSIBLE with all those gorgeous blasts in there you should only worry about multiples and certainly not a BFN!!!!

Hi everyone!
Its a beautiful Sunday today here in Cyprus! I had some time so I thought of jump in the board and see how my cyber buddies are doing! Boy you've been busy... I am going at my parents for lunch...we see them mostly every sunday...its the day of the week where we all (me, DH, my brother and his son, my godson) meet at their place for lunch...most of the times cypriot BBQ...my dad LOVES cooking BBQ! I think he BBQ's and at least once during the week! We go unless we have friends over our place (especially in the summer where we have pool parties and BBQ's and everyone gets advantage of us! but its all good) or we are invited somewhere else and therefor we cant go. On Saturday's we go at my MIL for lunch and Sundays at my parents. So that everybody is happy!

Margi- How are things in La La Land!!!! Is 11dpo today so hang in there!! I am sending you tons and tons of sticky vibes honey!!! I see that red line coming for you!!!!

Tiger- Thank yo so much for your wishes dear!! ...what's the deal with the sperm...well, low count, low morphology, low mobility a bit of low in pretty much everything I am afraid. And to think that it was all perfect before he got the mumps infection back in 2005. That costs him the quality of his sperm. So it is true what they say about this infection is better to get it when you are in young age. especially the boys!. he got it when he was young but looks like it was a false mumps infection and not the real one. But in those days they didn't think of giving him a shot b/c they thought that he didn't need it! so little did they know that it was false and years after he was going to get the real thing that would caused him infertility! No doctor said that he shouldn't give up hoping and cases like ours may have less chances of having a BFP but that doesn't mean that it can't or is not going to happen. So, I am crossing my fingers and pray that this time is going to work for us! Why not! I believe we've been through enough already and we deserve to get that BFP this time! ...don't worry this time I am sure your luck is going to change too! ...I used Follistim on this cycle but Sorry! no more left! I've used it all!

Lou- Thank you for your wishes and your good feeling for this cycle of mine! Coming from a prego I'll take this as a bonus wish! Well I never thought that "pumpkin" could mean something else than the pumpkin I know The pumpkin I know and use it has a deep orange colour and you can find it in long shape (like a big zuccini) or in a more rounded one (like a ball shape) I believe is the same one you use when you celebrate halloween. I am going to find a pic of it and post it here... STOP worrying! you should know this time is a keeper!! I am sure!!! and you are definately lucky this time my friend! Your little bean is growing perfectly! U/s on Tuesday will just confirm that! Stay positive!

Tess- Thank you for your wishes! I loved the way you describe general anesthesia...glasses of wine too many! I am going to sleep like a baby! ...btw, of all the food in the word (from those I've tasted so far..) Beef Stifado (Beef stew) is on my hate list...and there are only a couple of dishes on that list!I know its super yummy for a lot of people but I hate it! I did some gardening last week, cut the grass and shaped my beautiful "paradise birds" I love those! they belong to the same family of banana trees but these are the more exotic version. So I did the gardening for the same reason as you! ...before I have have a good excuse not to!

Greekchick- Our second language in the island is English. Cyprus used to be an English colony. But I am a multy-lingual person. I took English, French and German at school. A couple of our best friends that live in Cyprus are French, German and from NY in the states and so I use the languages often. Not that much of the German but I am trying to do more practice. I am planning on learning Italian as soon as I get pregnant! I love that singing language!...and spanish also.. I've been in Ioannina ages ago! On a road trip with my parents..if Iam not mistaken in Ioannina there are those beautiful stalagmites and stalaktites, and a wax figures museum...like the Madame Tussads...well not exactly! ...All the best to you and feel free to ask anything on this board!

Kynlee- I am praying for you that everything will be allright! Sorry I can't help you with the E2 levels but I hope everything is going to be great and you trigger soon!

CjinNC- I hope you are feeling better today! Drink lots of gatorade like the other girls suggested...even though I never needed to drink that all the women I know seem to believe that gatorade does wonders in cases of OHSS. probably b/c of the electrolites in it...

Katieb- Thank you so much for your kind words! I am really hoping this is IT for me! we are almost there alright!!! So, ET is Wednesday for you right? I am praying for my ET to be next Saturday 19th on the 5dpo! 5 day embies are really important! especialy this time for us! Embies reaching 5 day, blastocyst stage, have more chances of implanting and give a BFP. If none of the embies makes to day 5 then that is a serious problem and it will mean that we would never be able to have babies. there is no cure for this....But everything is going to be great!! I feel it!!! ...I hope you hear soon from that job you want!

Rio- I am sure enjoying my needle free day! Now I am anxious for my ET tomorrow Monday 14th at 8:30am! All the best to you my friend!

Carol- I had OHSS my first cycle drink lots of gatorade... Also make sure you call the DR if you see huge weight gains or cant breathe good.. my Dr Monitored me regularly due to my side effects... I had E level of over 4000 the first time around... Ill be praying it goes away soon...

Katie- We will be in the 2WW really soon

Margi- 6,000 wow you must have been in severe pain, my E level the first cycle was over 4000 and I cn remember how uncomfortable I was... This is why I am hoping that I dont get it bad this tie around... When is your Beta?

Anton- Good luck Girl tomorrow at ER I should be right behind you

AFM- Just got back from my U/S boy did my follies grow over night I now have 24 large follies and still more under 12... My left ovary worked really hard I have tons on that side... The Nurse said they will call me this afternoon she feels I may trigger tonight since everything looks good... I am really nervous about the OHSS, she said She dont think I will get as high s my first cycle, but isnt anything over 2000 for estradol high??? What is the normal E level they want you to have?? I am going to Church this morning and then to my Cousins for family dinner Looking like ER maybe this Tuesday

I am speechless this morning!! I haven't even told poor DH because he is off to an early luncheon...I need to think of a great way to surprise him when he comes home.....

My beta isn't until the 17th. There is no way I can wait until then....will call doctor's office tomorrow morning and beg...at least Wednesday if not earlier. Right?!
