Thank you Deidraj and Kjm!

I'll have to tolerate one more lazy day since I'm back to being bloated (I have had estrogen level up to 10700 last Wednesday), so I want to feel better before getting started. I also read and heard that babies DO benefit from us being active, it isn't only good for our bodies and souls.

Kjm - Omega -3 is important in tablets because it is naturally found in fatty fish (Mackerel and Salmon for example) that precisely during pregnancy might not be good to eat because they accumulate mercury and PCB's in their fatty tissues. In order to avoid getting the heavy metals and other pollutants also from the tablet source you should get the tablets that are NOT produced from the liver of the fish (the liver being the tissue that accumulates all these pollutants).
I have to wait 10 more days until my first U/S during pregnancy. I only had my beta checked twice, and it only doubled after 56 hours. I have absolutely no symptoms other than what I attribute to Estrogen levels and Progesterone suppositories, and the wait is hard - like you I assume everything is proceeding quietly as it should!

K,
Don't forget that this is not a "normal" pregnancy, my ovaries are still swollen at 20 weeks and my OB strictly advised low impact and for exercise walking only. We have swollen ovaries for a while after IVF, normal women ovulated one egg and do not have swollen parts so it is probably easier for them to go jogging and such. We on the other hand can twist those bad boys and create a world of trouble. Try to eat small portions and snacks between meals, try to eat healthy and you should be fine!

Thanks Riogirl,

Yes - how true. I am surprised at how one day I can wake up huge, then be totally fine in the afternoon - or the other way around, wake up normal and slowly metamorphose into a whale again later during the day. I had wishful thinking that the IVF impact will fade away by now, but I see I may be looking at quite a longer period of time...especially if judging by you being at 20 weeks! DH suggested walking with me for 15 minutes tonight which was nice..we'll be delivering back a rental DVD "The Jone$es" - very recommended! DH has been very busy all the time so I really appreciate it and it's a lot easier for me to feel like doing the walk when he's coming along. So different than the usual me, I always took so much strength and positive attitude from working out. The physical aspect of it was totally the last on the list! Now I need to be dragged and what you are writing which I know is true makes it more understandable. I AM eating healthy, because ( sigh) I do not want excessive weight gain and constipation to plague me even more along with the the ovaries (I had 22 eggs from my last ER and 23 from the one in October so everything you say makes sense). I only eat rye bread and loads of veggies, and even being careful with the diary products. Yet, I have never been bigger in my life. Makes a woman feel SO attractive :x

Anyhow. For the best cause ever.

Sonya you are positively blooming!!!! Over half way there now can you believe it?? I am glad to hear you too have a "boring pregnancy"

Chris i have been silently following your journey for a long time and the saying at the end of your signature has always kept me going esp. when i went thro. the m/c. karenvancouver -- I'm with ya on getting a doppler! Mine's coming next week from ebay. I can't wait to try it out. I went with the Sonoline B 3 mhz which was highly recommended by the ladies in this group. but I promise I won't worry right away if we can't find the hb. In fact, I was thinking of taking it to RE's office since I'm seeing him weekly and making him try it on me first...lol.

klinger -- Thanks, I figured we'd have to start low to look for the hb. I hope we have luck!

diedraj-- Oh, wow... what a scare. Are you feeling better? Please let us know what your doc says.

babyluv -- Thanks for crashing and weighing in on the doppler decision!

Sonya -- You look amazing! Thanks for posting your pics. Are you taking them weekly? I started this weekend.

kjm -- How far along are you? You need a ticker girl! I feel really good too. I hope that just means I'm lucky. Trying not to stress that no symptoms is bad. I do have an u/s on Tues. Both RE and OB said I can come in anytime I want for an u/s. I'm going weekly until week 12.

to_have_fun (Chris) -- Soooooo happy for you to finally be over here! Welcome!!!! Your beta's were excellent. I'm predicting two!

Gi -- Thanks for thinking of me! It makes me feel better to know that you were symptom free as well and had a perfect little baby girl. Maybe that will be me too.

AFM -- Still sorta freaking out that I don't have any symptoms. I even took my last two hpt's, one with straight FMU and the second with the same urine sample but diluted in 1/2 with water. Both were almost as dark as the control line. So I've got plenty of hormone there. I've got an u/s schedule with RE on Tuesday. Gosh, I'm praying like mad that all is well in there. My pants are getting a little tight. I took a pic yesterday in leggings at 9w1d and will post it next to a pic of my "pre pregnancy" belly which was used to working out daily. I used to take frequent pics for my trainer and I to compare. She even used me as a "model succes story" on her web page...lol. After this baby, I will soooo be hiring her back to whip my body back into shape.

There's nothing you can possibly do to change what is happening inside your body... no jinxing! If you had that power over your cells, you'd have ten kids by now! :)

Love your pregnancy and thank you for honoring us with being part of the joy! Yay for your new ticker - I still LOVE watching my ticker change every single day.

Lou......Awesome abs you had there! Enjoy not having to worry about it in the coming months.

Deidra.....Vertigo sounds scary! Hoping you feel better soon.

Sonya....Enjoy Mexico!

To.have.fun......OMGosh! It's so great to see you on this side? Congratulations! :D I'm so happy for you! I wondered how you were doing and it's such a nice surprise to see you here.

K.....Good for you for eating healthy! I hope it continues. I have always been a healthy eater. I did good until 6wks. Then I became so nauseous that I could only eat certain things. Those things seem to be McDonald's or Wendy's or a bag of chips. Things I would never eat before. Finally in my 2nd trimester, I'm eating healthy again. Thank goodness. As for working out, I was about the same as you. I worked out 3 times a week before ttc. Then with cycle after cycle of drugs it wasn't as consistent as I'd been in the past. Since finally being pregnant, I haven't done anything. My RE told me to do nothing and to walk if I felt like it and that's it. The first trimester, I had no energy for it anyway. Now that I do, I walk my dog and that's about it. I did try a little weight training last week and was so sore that I couldn't sleep. I plan to try it again this week to see what happens. Nothing major....5lb weights....that's it. Do what feels right for you. Good luck!

Kjm.....My OB gave me a sheet with recommended vitamins. It says try to find a vitamin that doesn't contain additional vitamin A or D. It says that you can get "Expecta" over the counter at most pharmacies. Or you can order a brand called "NSI DHA" online at www.vitacost.com. I ordered from online. Hope this helps.

AFm......Nothing much to report. I have my 20wk scan this Thursday. Looking forward to seeing my baby boys! :D

Oh.....I forgot to ask. I tried about a month ago to put a ticker on my signature. I am so technically challenged that I got frustrated and gave up. I would really like to do it.

Help please!

Karin1 - Thank you for the advise. Plan to look into both of those. I just hate that I don't see my regular OB till 3-28. My RE hasn't given me much insight as far as food and vit/supplements.

Lou - you look great!!! I am 9 weeks today. I will work on that ticker - Iam also tech challenged so it may take some investigating.

to have fun - welcome!!! here's to an uneventful and healthy pregnancy!!

riogirl - I do have been careful about the ovaries. Mine seem to bother me more since ET then they ever did before. I stay away from any twisting or sidebending. Just rolling in bed can cause me a sharp instant pain. Hopefully that goes away soon. Just when I think it is gone I get another of those stabs.

K - Thank you for the info ib omega - 3. I hope your bloating is going down and you are feeling better. Cant believe you haven't had an US yet. I had one a 6, 7 and 8 weeks. Every RE seems different.

AFM - last week of progesterone suppositories!!! Feeling low energy today but I guess to be expected. Hope after resting at lunch I will have a better afternoon at work.

Deidra: hope your vertigo is improving.

Sonya and Lou: cute bump pics!

KJM: I take Prenate Essential as my prenatal vitamin. It has DHA and Omegas in it and hasn't upset my stomach. They also smell like vanilla which makes it a little easier to take. You will need a prescription for it though.

Anna : Congratulations on your baby boy
