Greek Chick - my first few cycles, I left everything up to the doctors. I didn't care why my numbers were, I just followed their instructions! That works just fine!

Carol - David is still a bit in shock. I think we both are. For now, the biggest issue is my inability to eat/keep food down. That's causing so much strain at home that we don't even talk about the babies -- except late at night, when we dream and talk about names... I hope your pain is ssooooo much better! But if not - make sure to get yourself to a ER!

Kynlee - Trigger! Yay! That's always the best day - between the trigger and the ER -- no needles! Being pregnant with twins makes job searching a little more difficult. I assume that whatever I'm doing when I start showing, that's what I'll do! Best of luck tomorrow !

Margi - if you break down and go early for your beta - I might break down and go early for my u/s! I'm trying as hard as I can to wait until Thursday.... I'm dyyyying to know they are both okay! -- you have to change to a 'pregnant' ticker! What's your due date? Also in November, right?

Anton - WOOOHOOOO! 15 is AMAZING! I also had pain after the ER this time, but never had it before. It went away in a few days. That's a LOT of meds for the 2ww. The pain killers and antibiotics are because of the ER. Progesterone and estradiol are common 'support' drugs for IVF pregnancies. Not sure about the other 2 (#s4 &5)

AFM --- and the puking begins.... I've had HG (hyperemesis gravidarum) with both previous pregnancies. You aren't guaranteed to get it in every subsequent pregnancy and I was hoping to skip it this time... but apparently not. I've been feeling super nauseated since my BFP, but I hadn't thrown up yet. I threw up first thing this morning, barfed breakfast and then barfed lunch. The *only* thing that sounded good for dinner was chocolate covered custard donuts - so I smorfed down two. Now I'm feeling sick again. CRAP. Oh well - as all HG ladies say - this will be worth it in the end.

So today was my second day at work. MUCH better. I spoke to mynew boss (who wasn't in yesterday) and settled the issues with schedules and salaries. Phew. --BUT-- I ran out of a staff meeting to throw up my breakfast. The bathroom was right next door and apparently EVERYONE heard me. I keep saying "I'm fine".... I'm getting lots of winks and smiles, I think some people are guessing. I threw up lunch and people heard that too.... if I keep puking at work, people are going to guess soon. Oh well ---- any ideas for something else that explains constant barfing? Bulimia?

------also ------- we are almost in SPRING! March 23 is the first day of spring, right? Since I will not be staying with y'all (although I will stalk and cheerlead!) -- who wants to take over as 'listmistress'? It seems to be good luck! Both Amanda (klinger) and I got BFPs the seasons we ran the lists!

Leora – You are so prepared this time around. You know exactly what to do and you are going to be your own advocate and tell them to shove it if there is ever anything you don’t agree with. Like you, I have faltered with my faith throughout this arduous process, but sometimes sparkles of faith come back. I know this is going to be your time, my friend.

Carol and Margi – Carol, I can’t remember were you on Estridol? I too had my E2 levels checked with each IUI, except when I was on Estriodol because that obviously messed with the levels…thought this might help

AFM: nothing new! Just taking BCP and waiting to start!

Margi~ Lots and lots of twinges and cramps are normal. That is all good news! I can't wait to hear your beta. I did mine on day 14, and it was in the 600's...can't remember the exact number. Hopefully you have a nice juicy number. I know the stress comes as you wait for consecutive betas, and then all the ultrasounds...just know you have quite the cheer-leading squad rooting you on!!! So happy for you, and your DH. You deserve this!

Hi Ladies

It's been awhile since I posted. I am really happy to hear all the BFP'S!!! That gives me much hope! I will go back and do personals soon.

I had ET 3/3/11 my ovary got twisted and landed in the hospital that Saturday 3/5/11 on morphine drip. I am beyond sad and mad. This transfer was the best embies they have seen and I feel like I just wasted them. I hpt today at 12dpo with my beta tomorrow and BFN I just don't know what to do with myself!!!! I want to crawl under a rock!!

And, yes, I am definitely caving to an early beta...gotta get some info. Can't change the ticker quite yet...I want to see my beta first at least...

Carol: Obviously Claritin is ok because my RE prescribed it for me. I think because of what you said about not rejecting the embies. Anyway, I'm sure it would be fine to stop seasonal allergies as well. How are you feeling this evening? First the flu, then possible OHSS, then allergies? Are you being tested or what?! Hope that you are feeling better!

Tiger: Can’t wait for you to get started! I am excited for you!

Pauleen: So sorry for all the pain you have had to deal with. Don’t give up hope....beta can still be positive after a negative HPT. I have seen it happen here on the boards. I am praying you get that surprise BFP tomorrow!!

Yay its finally ER, in 6 hours I will be having my ER My Dr also gave me a call tonight cause she knows I been doubting this cycle sine my E level was up, but she made me feel so much better and it gives me hope that I will have a fresh cycle this week I am staying positive and keeping the faith in Gods hands... Miracles happen everyday

For those that have difficulty "seeing my line"....I redid this morning again (after 3 faint lines on 3 Wondfo-internet cheapies-- pee sticks I pulled out the digital that DH accidental bought....I was afraid the level would be too low to show up on it....)



I can't believe that I FINALLY get to use this blinkie....



I am speechless this morning!! I haven't even told poor DH because he is off to an early luncheon...I need to think of a great way to surprise him when he comes home.....

My beta isn't until the 17th. There is no way I can wait until then....will call doctor's office tomorrow morning and beg...at least Wednesday if not earlier. Right?!

I can't wait to hear for you! I am sure everything is is going to be OK honey!

Leorira- I guess everytime (IVF) is different. In the previous ones we didn't feel a thing after ER and in this one we did. ...about my other two drugs, the one is Cortison and the other one is an anti-thromboses drug.... I am so things are getting better in your job but I am sorry for HG. Take good care of your self. Isn't there something you can eat to prevent or lessen the vomiting? I hope it doesn't last for long and you feel better soon so that you can enjoy your pregnancy Well, I guess if they find out that your pregnant in your job Oh well this things happen! what can you do. I wouldn't worry about this, you have other things more important now to focus on than people finding out at job! One more day to u/s!!! yeay! i hope you hear those two beautifull heartbeats! ...and donuts for dinner girl!!! ]

AFM- I am feeling slightly better today. I am taking my meds and I am relaxing. Thank God I am having the cleaning lady today otherwise I wouldn't rest at all! I don't like my house to be messy/dirty... she comes every other Tuesday and we do the house works together but I told her to come and next Tuesday too b/c I don't want to stress my self next week after the ET anything to get things work! My DH is making Chicken salad and egg sandwiches for dinner tonight so I am not worrying about cooking dinner. he is very sweet and supportive...in general...but he is more during the IVF stages...I am so lucky to have him!!

Baby dust to us all!!! I would like to believe that Leorira brought a breeze of BFP in this board followed by Margi and now is our turn and those already in 2ww to get our BFP's!!!! thank you girls for your BFP vibes!!!!

grrrrr.... job didn't work out..... grr.....

I wasn't told until after I started on Sunday that I would have to work until 11pm twice a week. I'm willing to do anything EXCEPT work nights. So I told my boss that I wasn't willing to work nights. Yesterday she told me she was working somethings out and that she would find a way to let me work there without night shifts.....

but today she tells me that if I can't work night shifts, I can't work there. Oh well. It's a deal breaker for me. I wish I had known BEFORE I interviewed (I would never have interviewed) or at least BEFORE I started.... grrrrr.....

I *hope* this had nothing to do with the fact that I threw up twice in the office yesterday and people heard me.... most likely, they guessed I was pregnant and didn't want to employ me.... grrrrr.....


On a more positive note - IVF clinic called me. Can I come for my u/s tomorrow instead of Thursday? umm... YES! Hurray - u/s a day early! Hopefully we'll see heartbeats!

Leorira- I am SO sorry my friend! That sucks! they should have come clean with you right from the begining and definately before hiring you! I couldn't possibly imagine that this is happening b/c they "think! you are pregnant! this is so unfair and definately un-ethical!! But don't you worry honey! this just wasn't meant to be! this is their loss! Next job will be the best for you a job that you better deserve! hi ladies hope u r all well?Im goin for another bloodtest tomorrow and a ultrasound yesterday my blood was 183 is that ok?wat should it be?wat does it av to get to?and they see around 10 follicles is that ok?when i was on clomid with iui 1st time i ad 4 2nd time i had 8 and the 3rd time around 13 but didnt work so was expecting more follicles this time but as long as i get at least 3 good eggs im happy ive just said to my doctor that if i there is more good eggs left over i would love to donate them and he nearly fell off his chair..lol....anyway ladies any info on these numbers would be great?ohh and what is stimming and beta??

Leora - sorry to hear that your having so much sickness and then job woes on top of it. Sounds like this was just not the right place for you - something else will come along soon! Yay for an early U/S - that is awesome!

Anton - congrats on your ER! Sounds like you will have plenty of embryos to work with for your ET! I used to hope for enough for a 5 day transfer - now I just want a couple good quality embryos to work with! Glad we will be in our 2ww together to cheer each other on and keep up the positive thoughts!

CjofNC - how are you feeling? Are those symptoms starting to subside yet?

AFM - my ER went pretty well yesterday - we got 6 eggs!! It doesn't sound like much compared to what many of you ladies get but this is double what I normally have so I was in shock when they told me! I felt pretty good yesterday after the procedure - I tried to take it easy but really didn't feel too bad so I did do a little work. Did my first projesterone in oil shot this am - my husband was so nervous he was shaking before! We got through it though - wasn't too bad except I flinched the first time so he had to poke me twice. My dr office just called with my fertility report - 4 were mature enough to be injected and 3 fertilized so we have 3 embryos for the transfer on Thursday! I'm very excited - can't wait to see the pix and have a better idea of their quality. I'm taking off Thurs and Friday and really resting then - already lining up my Netflix instant queue! Baby dust to all!!!

kbillsy, I think 6 eggs is great! Even if you only get 2 blasts out of it, that's two more babies than you had a month ago, right? That's the way I look at it... you are headed in a great direction! Good luck!

greekchick... stimming is using stimulation meds like clomid or injectable meds. Beta is referring to blood test for hcg to determine pregnancy. I hope your blood test and u/s work out great!

anton... as always you are right there with terrific PMA! It will be great for you to join us in the 2ww!

Leora... you didn't like that job anyway. Besides, you have the best job waiting for you in about 7 months - MOMMY!!!! Unfortunately the hours are bad (you will have to commit to night shifts), the pay is terrible (if at all), and the employees show no respect - they even cry when you are doing your job right! Plus you have an 18 year contract... but the rewards and benefits are worth it... although in about 14 years you will be asking yourself if they really are... but you will LOVE it! In the meantime, just find a token job to get you through the next few months.

Margi... when do you get your beta results? Actually I have spent the majority of my adult life with allergies. I can't remember when I didn't have a stuffy or runny nose. Sucks, but I have learned to live with it. I have never bothered to get tested, as I would probably find out I am allergic to all of my animals (3 dogs, 3 cats) but I'm not getting rid of them, so there's no sense wasting my time. I think I will try the claritin though since it is safe right now. With spring coming and everything here in bloom, its extra worse. Its so bad that we wake up in the morning to a yellow dusting of pollen covering our cars and windows in the spring.
