Anton, thats a great fert report. 5 of them are doing great.. I hope they all make it to blast. How many would you transfer if all 5 make it?

katieb... congrats on being PUPO! I've got my fingers crossed for you!

Greekchick... that's an awesome amount of follicles.. you will be PUPO very soon!

Kerri... hopefully someone will be able to answer you... I don't have much IVF experience, but I would have the same questions.

kynlee... throwing good embie vibes your way so you get a great fert report!

Margi... how are you feeling? I was just wondering if the nausea has set in yet considering how high your beta was.

Leora, I hope the nausea isn't too bad. I guess its a great sign that things are growing well in there, but still hard to deal with just the same.

I'm only 5 dpo, but the sore boobs and nausea are already kicking my a**. I'm sure its just the progesterone, as I doubt anything would have even implanted yet. With my pregnancy before I actually felt implantation. At 7 dpo I had cramps pretty good for about an hour or so and had this crazy "jump" in my lower abdomen / uterus area. Its was such a weird feeling, but the only time I ever felt it during the TTC process was then. I keep hoping I will feel it again, but I know every pregnancy is different. I keep telling myself to steer away from any hpt isles at the store so as not to be tempted. I know it is a waste of money before 10dpo. This has definitely been the longest 2ww I have ever had - I think because I have decided it is my last, either way. Fortunately work has been busy this week... working 10-12 hour days... so the only time I really think about it is when I have to come on here to check out everyone's news!!!

Kynlee – Your fert report sounds excellent. I always hope that 50% make it. So, you’re doing great! Having 9 eggs is awesome! In terms of transferring, if I were you, I would transfer 2.

LYD – The good news is that you are figuring out what works for you. I know that this game is an expensive one, so we all try and make the best choices possible. You did with the information that you had at the time, so I hope you feel good about that. Sounds like a perfect plan for you. Has your husband considered going to acupuncture? I have a friend’s husband that struggled with morph and motility and both improved after seeing an acupuncturist for 3 months. A lot of it was diet, and seeing the acupuncturist. I don’t know how you feel about it, but that was awesome to hear from someone I actually know.

Katieb – That’s awesome! Congratulations you are PUPO! It’s always nice when the RE’s show some enthusiasm! Keep up that PMA and try to stay out of crazytown…it’s a difficult task!

Kerri – very interesting. I don’t have an answer, but seems to make sense to me. Have you thought about asking Ghost?

Margi – I can’t wait for your next Beta! I think we should start a pool on how many we think are in there. I have $5 on twins.

Anton - great fert report!

Happy St.Patty's Day :)

So much catching up to do.

Lauren-What a cute puppy. Have you tried calling your RE again maybe he forgot about it.

Greekchick-Looks like your cooking really well and are getting very close.

Kynlee- Wow on 22 and great fertilizations relsults.

Margi- Awesome first beta can't wait to here todays. I think it's twins;)

Lou-So glad your scan went well and that SCH is healed.

Leora- Woo Hoo 2 heartbeats and what a beautiful ultrsound picture. I think you getting laid off was a sign to take it easy because your carrying two babies. Don't worry about working!!

Anton- Your fertilization reports are looking awesome. Can't wait for Saturday you will be officially PUPO!!!

Kbillsy- Enjoy your days off!!

Lyd10-I'm so sorry hon. ((Big HUGS))

Katieb1231- Congrats on being PUPO. Also something my RE told me about the progesterone suppositories because I complained about how irritated I was. I guess a lot of us woman shove the darn thing right up there like we are putting in a tampon. He said do NOT put it in like a tampon. Just insert it just so it's in there and leave it in for 10 minutes no longer because your body absorbs the medicine within 10 minutes and than what's remaining is just all the gunk that holds it together. He said to clean it all up and go about your day. Hope this helps.

CJinNC- Fingers crossed for you this cycle.

Hope everyone is having an awesome day and hope I didn't forget anyone.

Oh on the BCP I don't do the birth control because of blood clotting but I had asked if I went on blood thinners if I could take it, if it would help me get more eggs or better quality. He said absolutely not and said that the reason they do it is to get more mature eggs. So far I've had no issue with immature eggs he said. Knocking on wood right now;) Weird how so many doctors have differant answers.

Today started off great. I met with the RE and filled out the paperwork for the OB. I went to the biggest OB clinic in my area and asked for an appt with the highest risk doctor. I made an appt with the doctor for next week and an u/s a week later. They drew some blood for basic blood work (blood type, rh, etc).

I went home to take a nap. I woke up at about 11:30am and thought I had wet the bed. Nope - not urine. Blood. Lots and lots of blood. They say to keep track of how long it takes to fill a pad -- I literally could not get a new one on fast enough. I was gushing and gushing blood.

I called the IVF clinic, since I still don't really have a doctor. They pulled some strings and got me an u/s at the hospital. At noon - both babies were still looking good (heartbeats and all), but the blood was everywhere. After my transvaginal u/s, the room looked like we had killed someone. I was gushing blood everywhere.

I was admitted for observation for a 'threatened miscarriage'. The bleeding stopped completely around 3pm. My cervix is still closed. All of that is a good sign.

No one knows where the blood came from. I'm spending the night here (super lonely!) and we'll have another scan tomorrow. I'll let y'all know how it goes....

I have my laptop so I can watch movies. There is wi-fi, but it's flakey.

:( I just want to cry. I've had a textbook pregnancy so far. These are babies #4 and ##5.... how can I lose sooooo many? This is so unfair.

Oh my gosh, Leora!!!! Hang in there!!!! the babies are doing great - you will not lose them!!!! i know bleeding is scary - but lots of people bleed during pregnancies and as long as you take it easy - as you are doing right now - you will be ok. I've had that happen with my first one as well. they also called it a threatened misscarriage. i hated that word!!! another word for it is subchorionic hematome - what Lou had as well and everything was ok. I think its because the lining is so thick with all the projesterone - it forms these bleeds. please take it easy and dont worry!!!
good luck!!!

Anton - great fert report!
Tiger - thanks very much for the accupuncture suggestion! If we have to do a fresh cycle again, i think i will ask my husband to do it. has your friend's husband also took suppliments during that time? i am trying to figure out if it was the diet, the accupuncure or the suppliments that made a difference for him? we've tried suppliments but didnt see a difference - if anything i think it was worse. and my husband has a pretty good diet. but is there anything specifically that your friend's husband was eating?

I have 3 frozen embies that are good and another 3 that are slow. i think that's enough for two FET tries. i also have 3 more that most likely didnt fertilize properly - so i hope it doesnt come to deciding if we have to use them or not.

Leora stay calm. Sounds like the blood has nothing to do with the babies. I agree with LyD10 subchorionic hematome possibly. You are in my prayers though!

I am crashing, stalking Margi. Congratulations!!! Great numbers. Your research for the clinic paid off. For what it is worth I had high numbers with my 2 pregnancies and ended up both times with singletons (and vanishing twins both times). For your DH, these were my numbers:
1st Beta --> 309 (12dp3dt)
2nd Beta --> 959 (15dp3dt)
3rd Beta --> 2006 (17dp3dt)

1st Beta --> 234 (12dp3dt)
2nd Beta --> 1567 (16dp3dt)
3rd Beta --> 8932 (21dp3dt)

Best of luck and Baby Dust to to all

Leora: AW! I am so sorry for the stress and scare you are having. No one, but you the least, should have to go through that after all that we have been through. Take care of yourself--stay off your feet--good thing that stupid job didn't work out anyway. You and those precious beans are the only worry. And as others have said, many women on these boards seem to have a similar experience and all works out. I don't understand it, but believe me, I will be consulting Dr. Google, because it is confusing how it seems to be so common with IVF. Why don't the doctors warn us? Or prepare us? or work to prevent it somehow.

I hate being in the hospital, and understand the lonely and bored part, but just take extra care of yourself. You are in my thoughts....do your best to visualize positively. ((((HUGS))))) through this hard time.

Leorira please stay calm honey! This is terrible but don't you go thinking that this is over!! this is something that is happening to a lot pregnant women during the first trimester especially this early as you are! My ex boss had the same thing happend to her exactly at your stage of pregnancy and she stayed two nights at the hospital with close monitoring and her cervix was sew and she had to stay in bed for the whole 9 months. she now has 2 beautiful baby girls. she had to go through the same thing twice. Both on her 1st and 2nd pregnancy. she had a baby girl each time. Staying in bed all the way was the only way to keep her babies but sure worth it! So you hang in there honey! and take it easy! I wish I could be there with you holding your hand in this difficult moments you are in! These things do happen and it doesn't mean this is the end! keep that in mind and don't loose hope!!! You are definatelly not alone!!! I can leave my computer online all night if you want me to to keep you company if you want to talk! Hang in there my dear friend you have been through so much pain this is just a small obstacle for you which you will PASS with SUCCESS!!!! ((((hugs))))
