mamaboo-sorry to say that I am cheering against your alma mater tomorrow. I am however hoping that you are next in the way of BFP!!! I cannot wait to hear about the test on monday. Good luck and enjoy that pregnancy!

Bliss- yeaa for AF! And now you have a set FET date which isnt too far away at all. Glad she came sooner than expected and you could start focusing on how this one is the one. Lucky # 4 for both of us!!

AFM- AF finally came this morning!!!!!!! I was working from home today since the insurance adjuster was coming and she finally decided to show up with some incredible cramping. So I called the office and went in @ 2:30 for my baseline. They said things looked great!!! So I am doing my last dose of Lupron tonight and start Follistim 225 tomorrow. Ive never been sooo excited. Looking at an estimated March 29 retreival and March 31/April 1 transfer. So excited to get going.

Bliss - My ‘pregnancy’ is going great! I feel good just doing some bed rest on and off and trying to keep positive thoughts flowing through my head no bad juju for me! I also just got back from acupuncture & she commented that my pulses were all very strong (full of energy) which is not usually my MO so I was happy to hear that!

Blair - Yup transfer this time was a breeze other than the fact I felt like I had to pee my pants the whole time! And YES of course I will POAS!!!! I am totally the mayor of my own crazy town during my 2ww’s! My friend and I are already making plans for when & how! I POAS last time at 10dpo & it was positive but it was a fresh cycle this one is frozen so not sure it will be the same so I am debating between Monday which will be 10dpo and Wednesday which will be 12dpo don’t know I can hold out that long though!!!

Congrats on getting your AF’s! Hate the witch mostly but sometimes she is a necessity right!

Bliss and Blair - congrats to you both on AF!! It's a great time for new beginnings, and i hope the best for you both! Blair, you've been very patient and must be so excited (and relieved) to get going again. Bliss, you have such a good outlook! I am hopeful that you will each be rewarded!
I'm having my ER tomorrow - finally! It's been pushed back several times, originally scheduled for 3/17 but I was such a low responder (I prefer SLOW responder) My E2 levels finally began creeping up and seven follicles have matured. I've had a rollercoaster of emotions, but I'm feeling excited and hopeful.
Please keep me in your prayers - I am so thankful for the support!

Fun- I start 225 IU follistim tonight!!! Sooo excited and anxious. Was a little disappointed when I looked in the fridge and realized I had 2 x 600 IU cartridges when all along I've thought they were 900...but at this point I don't care if I have to pay a couple hundred more for another cartridge if that's what I need to make a baby.

Hi Ladies,

I've missed you all sooo much. Sorry I've been M.I.A. for the last week, but it's been a trying time. After being told I wasn't a candidate to drain the fluid from my OHSS last Fri 3/12 things went NUTS!! By Mon I had gained 9lbs, looked 9mos preggo and couldn't walk 2 feet. I hadn't gone #2 in almost 2wks and combined with the cyst-laden, swollen ovaries I was hurtin' for certain. Then on Tues night things took a turn for the worse and I began to hemorrhage and had to be rushed to the hospital. I suffered a "threatened miscarriage". So, when I looked on the board Wed and saw Bliss' BFN I got pretty emotional and kinda took it personal. It was just too much for me to process at the time. I tend to do that since I'm a sensitive cancer. This is nothing against the rest of you girls, but Bliss, Blair and SD have been on here with me the longest since I came on so they're my girls and I've got mad love. Things are okay right now and I truly thank God they saw a heartbeat before they discharged me from the hospital, but I'm in a very cautious state. I'm trying to keep a positive outlook. I've lost 8lbs this week so I feel more like myself again and "things" are moving.

Bliss-I'm sooooo happy today after reading your most recent posts to see that you've got your game plan on and you're not wallowing. I really admire women have that internal strength and know how to tap into and find it when they need it. No wonder you're so successful in your career and marriage. Congrats on the CBA. You'll go far. Thanks for staying on this thread cuz I would've seriously had to stalk you. I know things will work out one way or another.

Blair-You must be so beside yourself to finally get this show on the road. Good luck with your cycle and the stims. You'll be PUPO in no time.

I am so so sorry this happened but so so happy it seems that things are OK, we seem to have had a string of OHSS & Bleeding between this board & the Winter board but it appears that everyone seems to have made it through and you will too, I am praying for you....hugs for you my dear.......

Crissy- I knew we hadn't heard from you lately but didn't realize that we had missed out on so much while you were gone. I'm so sorry you went through so much but I'm sooooo glad you got to see beans little heartbeat before you left the hospital. Sucks that you had to go through it all but glad things are better and "moving" again. Not to mention your team pulled out another win which I'm sure helped.


AFM- only a few more hours before stimming begins. I've had a day full of headaches which sucks. Tylenol has never really worked for me and now that I can't take ibuprofen I'm stuck with a headache. Hopefully its just from the lupron and will go away since I stopped it. Beyond thrilled to start stimming though. Wierd question which may be gross ...how do you go about using vaginal suppositories while AF is still here? I'm supposed to start viagra 4x a day but am not sure how that will work with tampons. Sorry if its TMI but I've never used suppositories before so I'm a little anxious I guess.

crissylove- I was wondering where you were! OMG- so sorry for all the complications you have had but I am just over the moon that things turned out so well with the u/s and a solid heartbeat. What a harrowing experience! I am so sorry that my BFN and very honest communication of my feelings on the subject upset you. I thought about it after posting my initial email and went back and deleted most of it because I realize how important it is to stay positive for others. My posts helped me vent, but may not have helped others who need inspiration. I too consider you one of my closest cycle buds (despite the fact you are a Gator fan ). Saying a special prayer for you and your baby tonight. I have mad love for you too!

AFM- I have been reading on adoption all day today, and have reached out to the three agencies in the area to have initial appointments. Its strange, but I really feel like moving forward with adoption will help me relax and make a BFP from this next FET more likely. I just love the idea of a having both a biological child and an adoptive child! Also- the exploration on adoption had certainly led me to consider other alternatives, like continuing IVF and even donor eggs/embies. I think I am ready for adoption, but weighing the costs, legal risks, and emotional risks, it has made me a little more open to continuing this process. Adoption is certainly as expensive and emotionally trying as IVF so why not try a little longer? I am looking forward to my follow-up appointment with my RE. I am hoping it will give me more clarity on our ability to get pregnant versus adoption. Whatever happens- I know I will have a child we can love someday in the not too distant future and I am closer to finding peace with this process.

Blissful: I hope you can find what is best for you. I also considered adoption. We looked at it before starting IVF. I was stunned at the costs. It certainly isn't cheaper than IVF. There were a number of things I thought about and pondered before moving forward with IVF instead of adoption. Now that I have my son, I truly want to give him a sibling and may have to deal with all of the decisions again. However, due to my age, I now have less time to decide. I am rooting for you to have the family you dream of.

blair- I would assume you need to switch to pads but I don't know for sure. I did so about a 3 months ago because I read it was better for reproductive health and I was trying everything I could. I have always been a tampon girl due to years of cheerleading, gymnastics, and dance (gotta hid it in those leotards and bloomers!). I gotta tell you though, I may never switch back. I truly believe it makes my periods shorter and more tolerable.

I did not do viagra, but I did do crinone suppositories. What I wasn't prepared for is that it makes you really dry and swollen. I would probably switch back to PIO if I didn't already have nearly a whole cycle's worth of crinone! Good luck!

Thanks Mamaboo- we are close to the same age so I am also feeling the same time crunch. Am I crazy or are you also turning 35 soon? You shouldn't be thinking about adoption though...because you are going to get a BFP! I never even gave adoption a single thought until now because my docs were initially so positive on our potential to have a successful outcome with IVF. The time is right for me to begin the process though, we have some time before actually applying and moving forward, we are just exploring for now, but I am getting a little invested in the process.

I hope my talk of adoption doesn't bring those of you that are determined to have your own child or to give birth bring you down. I want those things too, but really I just want a healthy baby first and foremost. In this process and given my age I feel like I have to seriously consider that as a way to go. My hope is that my experience is helpful to others, but if it is a total bummer to those that are cycling, please let me know!
