Hi ladies, happy to read everyone's news here. Congratulations on Margi's big +, I am thinking about more than one babies in your worm. Chris, are you having a boy and girl twins? that is great! Becca, I am hoping that you are the next. Using donor eggs is promising, glad that you are staying positive. Wish you luck on this cycle.

Catherine, is your hubby ok to adopt embryos? If your clinic provides this service, I believe it would be easier in your situation. How is the little girl?

NY and Chriss, glad to see you hanging out here to cheer on everyone.

Tammy, are you back from China with your little girl?

I have a question for the Over 40 crowd. How are you feeling on all the hormones? I am just exhausted these days and I am not sure if it is a side effect of the hormones, or just feeling my age these days. There are days I could honestly crawl into bed as soon as I get home from work. And I seem to have all kinds of aches and pains lately.

becca, hormones are somethings that affect me badly in every way, moody, depressed, crying a lot, extreamely tired/sleepy...I am still in this kind of mess but this now is called perimenopause. I want to be a man in my next life! the only thing picked me up was yoga, which I've intnded to go back to but am still not in action.

Greetings Ladies! :D

Margi-I am so happy for you and your DH :D

AFM-Still in holding pattern. It's not like I have a clock ticking since we're unable to use my eggs. I'm not certain what DH's issue is at the moment besides the cost. Here DE is triple the rate of the regular IVF cycle. I don't think the DE is the issue becasue we tried several rounds of DS. I would have thought that to be a bigger issue than DE. We have many things on our plate at the time that are consuming what little funds we have. We really need to sell our old house. With it sold then perhaps the hesitation would dwindle as well. Time will tell.

Blessings to all.

Wanted to stop in and give you all an update. So glad to see all the positive news here. Catherine, I am hoping that things work out for you soon so that you are able to try again.

AFM - We decided to switch donors. She is willing to start asap, so right now we are getting our cycles coordinated. I start my Lupron on April 7 and it looks like she will be starting her meds at the very end of April. I have a good feeling about this one. DH and I are staying positive, which I know is very important.

Greetings Ladies! :D

I hope this finds everyone well.

I have a quick question: has anyone heard of the use of aloe vera juice/pills for the tmt of infertility?

The snake oil salesman says it boosts sperm count and motility not to mention it cures everything under the sun. I'd like to hear if anyone else has had experience with this type of phytonurishment.

More later.

PMA to all.

NY: SO Happy to hear from you!! And congrats on ER. I will pray that all goes well and you get to transfer some wonderful embies into surro!!!

AFM:

We have 2 PERFECT heartbeats!!!! All measures well, 6w5d=baby A and 6w6d=baby B. We got tons of pictures and got to hear both of their heartbeats...what a beautiful sound. I am in shock. Heart rate was 130 for Baby A and 115 for Baby B. Does that sound to be about right? Wow. DH and I are so relieved. I know it is certainly early and that "things" can happen early on, but for now I am going to relish in the fact that we ARE pregnant and have 2 strong heartbeats. It really is so hard to believe.

I go back next Wednesday for another u/s.

Can you all hear me grinning from ear to ear? :D :D
