Lupron shortage?!?

A month ago my RE's office had me order my lupron weeks in advance because they said it was in short supply. RE upped my dose so I called today to order a refill and the med pharmacy said it is on backorder, not available until probably first week of April. Anyone else having this issue? They said they would call around tomorrow morning and see if they could find me something.

My meds (including Lupron) were ordered on Friday, 3.11 from CuraScript, which is part of Freedom Pharmacy. I set it up to pick everything up from FedEx on Friday, 3.18. I had no problems. Where did you order from?

I think the name is Apothecary. My original order was back in February. I tried to call the clinic today but it was after 5. I will have to call them tomorrow and see if they can help at all too. How frustrating!

When I did my IVF in Feb, I had actually run out of the syringes for the lupron because I was on it longer then the 14 days I was supposed to be. I originally got my lurpon 14 day kit through my ins. pharmacy. When I called them to see if they could get me more syringes they gave me the number to one of the manufactures of lurpon. When i called them they told me that they couldnt provide me with anymore syringes because they stopped producing lupron I couldn't believe it. I told my Dr but he didn't hear of anything like that but since it was the manufacturer that told me I have to wonder if maybe another company is making it.
