First of all Katie- I am so sorry about the uncertainty and fear you are facing right now. Prayers and hugs to you.

SD- Your pregnancy sounds absolutely wonderful. Congrats on seeing the heartbeat of your healthy little bean. :D

Blair- how bout those CATS!!! Oh my goodness, what a game it was. It was a brutal and beautiful display of incredible defense. Harrelson was on fire! My favorite part was when he wailed the ball into that OSU player in the first half to force it out off bounds of him. We had friends over and went NUTS when Kentucky hit that last shot. I can't believe my 2 year old niece slept through it. Then my sisters, brother, and mom all got on a three way call together and celebrated the win. It was pretty special now that most of us live outside of the state and can't share in the local fun the way we used to do. My sis that stayed the night with me and I stayed up until 1 celebrating. So fun!!! Tomorrow will be a challenge, UNC is awesome this year but I know we can take them.

Crissylove- I think its possible we may see the Gators in the final game. That's what I have in my bracket so fingers crossed.

WeHaveHope- I felt that way my last cycle, it was a rough one. Hang in there- it is going to be so worth every moment when you are holding your beautiful baby in your arms.

AFM- I had a little more than a little wine last night. You think its okay since I am still three weeks from my cycle month? I actually think it might be good for me. I was a little uptight over the last 100 days of meditating, eating healthy, zero caffeine or alcohol, etc. Its weird- I have this sort of "whatever" attitude this time. I think its because I am allowing myself to get excited about adoption so a part of me is just a little less stressed because I have plan B under way. Funny that all the efforts last time to de-stress me like meditation actually made me more uptight than a good old bottle of red wine! :D Went to Zumba and Boot Camp today to "pay for my sins" :D :D :D . It feels incredible to be exhausted and slightly hung over. Weird!

Love you all!

All- So im freaking out a little bit, even though I know I shouldnt. I went back to RE today and he said he gives me an "A" for today. He said my lining looks great and I have about 7 follicles on each side that are all about 12mm in size. He wants to continue stims for a few days to let them get bigger and then trigger tuesday and retrieval wednesday. All of that is fine but the nurse called a little while ago and said that he wanted to change mondays dose from 100 IU back to 250 IU. I asked what my E2 level was and she said 432. Now of course Im flipping out because the level seems so low after 7 days of stims. At the last RE they were always checking the E2 levels and even had me on an increased estrogen protocol with the last FET. The new RE doesnt use estrogen and just has me doing viagra suppositories which I guess is working because my lining looks great he said. Im really concerned that my levels are too low but they didnt seem to think it was a big deal. I dont even go back until teh Retrieval on Thursday. Am I freaking out for nothing???

Bliss- I agree- intense game. I had to take a nap just so I could stay awake. And when Harrelson threw the ball we all started laughing- it was a really hard throw.

Blair- I think you are totally fine...sounds like your follies are growing good and even and you know there are many women who take just a few extra days to reach that perfect point prior to trigger. Don't worry and stay positive!

Blair - you sound right on track to me. Your follies grow about 2 a day somewhat would put you right on track for 18 on tuesday. I wouldn't worry about it. Your RE gave you an A! I think that should give you comfort in itself! Relax and enjoy this is going to all be great for you!

Bliss- good for you! Disconnecting and having a little wine is probably exactly what you needed. It will do your cycle no harm. I lve it that you are more relaxed. When we stress we make situations mote tense. You should be very relaxed and sure of yourself your dreams will be comingntrue two-fold very soon! I myself will be drinking tonite. Hubby and I are going to a nice dinner. We need a date night and time for us. I am not worried about my cycle. I plan to be much more relaxed going into this next one.

AFM - I called the nurses in the office today because AF has arrived and I still have 2 provera pills left. She told me to discontinue the prover and go on Monday morning for BW before bc pills. I guess I'm going back on bc, I'm assuming it'll be the same as last time. Let's see!

Thanks Everyone we are just hanging tough until Monday & praying for the best outcome possible.....We do have four frosties left but we don't want to use them we want this baby to live! We keep asking it to wake up & join us and how badly we want to meet it and that we love it already. Yes this could be a vanishing twin early, apparently this happens a lot and we would never know except for the fact I called the clinic & begged for a 12dpo Beta.....so moral to my story is wait till your Beta day for real results....RE called me yesterday & said at this point any rise is going to be good for me because now they don't know what my starting point was since it could have been a vanishing twin which will mess the Beta up completely.....UGH sometimes my type A'ness really f's me up.......Here are some interesting facts though......

As many as 15% of all pregnancies (no matter how conceived) have a irregular rise in hcg during the first 8 weeks. Although all over the internet it talks about doubling every 48 hours it is actually every 48 to 72 hours so if you have your test at 48 hours and it did not double it actually doesn't mean much until after the 72 hour mark is when they begin to worry (damn wish I knew that then I would have waited!)

I did POAS this morn just to see if it would still be BFP and thank god that little line came up took forever but within the 3 minutes there it was so I was happy to see it......I think it might even be a tad darker than it was on Thursday which was the last day I did it....I am praying for something anything tomorrow but at least 10 to 15 points....I have been doing my meditation, moxa (acupuncture voodoo incense like stick) and taking all my herbs plus drugs.....god please grant me this one little wish.....please

That's the spirit Katie...we are thinking of you today and continuing to pray with you. Hang in there! FYI- I learn so much from you ladies. Interesting info on the betas. My bet is that you are probably spot on about the vanishing twin. I hadn't even thought of that. Try to relax as best you can. FYI- I'd use moxa too, but DH won't let me do it at home because he says our house will smell like a hippie's. Lol. (no offense to any hippies on the board :D I use it at the AP though and enjoy it.

Hey ladies!

What a roller coaster of a day we've had. I had such a good day today! Despite all my PMA on the board, I still have been struggling emotionally from the last BFN. I had an incredibly good day on Friday and an even better day today... no tears at all this weekend. That is until...

Hubby came home and told me my sister in law is pregnant. She's not married and hasn't been trying. She has been dating her beau for about 6 months and announced about a month ago they were getting married. We wondered...and sure enough learned today that she is 12 weeks pregnant. I am happy for her even though it was unplanned. I know she wants kids and she just turned 36 this month. So naturally I was worried about whether or not she would be able to have the family she wanted. Still, I cried like a baby. DH is a product of his Dad's second marriage and his father has grandbabies from his first son. But my mother in law who I ADORE has no biological grandchildren. One of the challenges I have had along the way is feeling a strong desire to give her a grandchild. Well- she will have that baby, but not from me! It feels so selfish to get upset about it, but I am. DH and I both cried for us and our struggles when we found out. Just talked to my sis in law and said all the right things...but in a super funk at the moment.

Only a Kentucky win can pull me out of it! ;-)

Thanks as always for listening. :-)

Bliss- I know that nothing we can say will help make the situation any better. I know its difficult to be happy for someone given the circumstances but it sounds like you aren't doing too bad staying positive. I cried when I found out my younger cousin who got married to a guy she just met was preggo - I think its just natural since we are doing so much and trying so hard. Wishing you the best and hope you can find the strength to move on. A Kentucky win today will at least put a smile on your face for a little bit- hoping they can pull out the win! Feel free to vent any time!

Bliss - Oh sweetie it's times like these that I wish we all lived close so we could give some hugs out and a shoulder to cry on....I am 41 so I have been through the everyone except me getting pregnant thing for a lot of years....I wish I could say it gets easier but it really doesn't I am sure when I am an old lady I will still look at pregnant women & think WOW...Anyways vent away my dear & cry as much as you need to, it sometimes doesn't seem fair but I am praying there is a plan for all of us and soon it will become clear and we will all have our own babies in our arms where they belong........wrap yourself in the warmth of all the ladies on this board who support you & understand how you are feeling.....

Hi everyone,

So here I am, day 6 of my 2 ww (day 25 of my cycle) and the usual nasty PMS symptoms have arrived. I could rip everyone's head off... I feel so irritable! This can't be good... Can't help but feel sure that AF will come later this week... Feels so much like a normal menstrual cycle... Does anyone know if those progesterone pills (the ones you shove up-you know where) disrupt one's cycle? If my bean didn't stick, will the progesterone delay my period somehow? Just wondering...

Katie: DH and I have prayed for you and your bean...

Good night all.

Nicole- your are preggo. Those pms like symptoms can also occur with the progesterone so don't let it fool you. And as for the progesterone, yes it will delay your cycle. Stay positive and know that that little one stuck in tight!

Katie- still thinking about you. Hoping for a rising beta tomorrow!

Bliss- Did that win make you smile, even just a little? Final four!!! Try to keep your head up and know that no matter how many people around you end up pregnant- you will be one of the next to join them. You will be brining home your little one not too long from now.

AFM- only 1 more day of stimming (and Viagra!!!)! So excited. And the the trigger, a day of no shots, and then retrieval!!! Hard to believe its finally going to be my turn. Anxiously awaiting all the excitement and hoping that we get a lot of good looking eggs and end up with some strong looking embryos. Hope everyone is doing well.

Katie - thanks for sharing the info that will give us all some peace of mind with betas and post transfer days. Hang in there and stay positive your RE doesn't sound too worried so that should make you feel better. All we are looking for is a rise and tomorrow you're going to get it!!!!!!!!!!

Bliss - I totally understand you. My sister is pregnant with her 2nd. She has no fertility issues and last Sunday she found out she was preggo. I was truly happy for her because she's my sister and i would love for my niece to have a brother or sister. She wasn't very excited and told me I'm not sure I even want another baby. It hurt me so much and I cried.i told her how can you be so selfish and say that to me when you know I'm having issues and I would give the world to just have one healthy baby. Now I don't ask or talk about it, I let her do the talking. It's so unfortunate that we all have to deal with this but at least we have each other here where we can vent and share how we truly feel. Big hug to you!

Blair - I'm so excited for you I can't believe your retrieval is almost here!!!! We were supposed to go thru this together...no worries, I'll catch up to you. You're going to get preggo 1st and pass the mojo on to me :D 8)

Nicole - what you are feeling is totally normal and those vaginal suppositories mad me a raging witch. I was so emotional.....yes, you Are probably feeling implantation at 6 days post. Congrats the little ones are settling in their home for 9 months. Enjoy!!!!!! :)

Hi ladies,

Katie-I will be praying for you. Hopefuly, the Beta will go up. Stay positive.

I hope all is well with everyone. I haven't had much time today to catch up. I will do so later this evening.

AFM, I called my RE on Friday. I was use to taking Provera for 10 days, buy noticed on Thursday that there were 12 pills in the bottle. My 10 dose were finished on Thursday. To My surprise, The nurse said to take The remaining two doses. What was I thinking when I called??? Of course the nurse was going to say to take the other two. But my RE has alwYs ordered 12 and only instructed me to take 10. I was not happy. Two more days of delay!!! Then I thought about it. Well, this gives me two more days of feeling like myself. After everything that has happened with this cycle it has really cut into my time with hubby, if you know what I mean. At least this gave me the entire weekend without AF. Not that AF has ever been a problem in that respect, sorry for TMI. It's just that with all of the medications and hormones, AF has been a terror the last few times she visited. Not allowing for anytime with hubby. So a negative turned positive. The things we all have to do to find a little positive in this rollercoater journey. I don't feel lime AF is comming anytime soon. I felt like it was on Thursday. I felt very down and blue. But this weekend I have felt my my cheery self. Really being able to enjoy everything and everyone around me. So let's see how much longer AF will take before she visits me and I can start on BCP. My hubby and I haven't exactly been following RE's request when having intercourse either. After I finally felt better from the OHSS we just said "what the heck"!!! So we shall see. I definitely need to focus on the things in life that I can controll and not on the ones that I can't. AF will come when she is good and ready. Hugs and kisses to all.
