Hi Nancy...It is sooo good to hear from you!! I'm so sorry about your DH...how awful. I'm hoping and praying that you'll be able to find enough to save for a fresh cycle and soon!! However, giving that little guy a chance is great, too!! Best of luck with everything! I just wish we were cycling together again.

I, too, wish we were cycling together. It stinks when time isn't on your side, you know. You hear of all these ppl having babies later and later and you think you've got time, you know. Wishing we had gotten more serious with our trying much earlier.

Nancy: Thank you for the well wishes! My appt is tomorrow at 2:30 EST...I don't know how I am going to make it through the work day until then ....I hear you about the stress with the "time" push...I felt like that when we were doing IUI's...like we were maybe wasting precious time, but it was all we could afford. You do the best you can, with what you have. Hoping for wonderful success in your next cycle!! I will be stalking you!

AFM- Patiently waiting for Beta, 2 days to go... I am trying to stay positive I am so scared nervous excited all in one... I dont feel like I have symptoms and then today when I went the bathroom, some of the progesterone that came out was a peachy color.. sorry if that is TMI but It kinda scared me... Please say prayers for me tonight...

Tammy - I finally got my records and appeal letter from my RE on Friday. My records were over 50 pages! I wanted to copy everything so I could keep it and read everything, but did not have a chance since I also wanted to mail it asap. My REs letter was very good. I sent everything this afternoon. One funny thing in my records was about my DH. It said body builder - denied steroid use. Lol bodybuilder? He goes to the gym every day, but is not a bodybuilder, and does not look like he uses steroids lol. I thought that was so funny that my RE wrote that about him. I hope I hear back from ins really soon. I don't know when I want to start again since I just booked a trip for June 3 and July 29.

Kbillsy - so sorry you didn't get the positive you so wanted this time round. Good to you're going to and are able to try again. Perhaps we'll cycle together in May.

Tammy and Nancy - My biggest regret is not trying for babies sooner. If only we could turn back time. Ah well, we can't so we can only try our very best to produce 'vintage' babies.

Anton - wow! Tomorrow's your big day. Fingers crossed for the BFP it so sounds like you have.

Margi - man, I'm so excited about your u/s tomorrow.

Lauren - sounds like your RE needs to get facts right. Going to the gym everyday does not necessarily maketh a bodybuilder!

Kynlee - not far for you now. The 2 ww is almost over. Hang in there.

Lou - i remember feeling mixed emotions about moving away from the comfort of my RE to an OBS. Didn't take long to get used to it though.

Amanda - I hope that your Mum is doing okay. You've certainly had your fair share of life challenges!

AFM - had a bit of a meltdown yesterday after work. Went straight to bed and just cried my eyes out. Sometimes the last few months catches up with me and I'm just overwhelmed with sadness. I'm getting better though and only feel like this every now and again. I spent the weekend finishing off an album that I put together after the birth of our little boy. It's a little record of our short time together and is very special.

I've enquired about the private adoption process. The next step is to meet the friends of our friends whose niece is pregnant and have a chat to them about her. Based on what we find out, we'll decide whether or not we want to move forward with it. It's all a bit rushed because the pregnant girl is due in May. It probably sounds crazy but I'm not sure my heads in the right place to make such big decisions at the moment. At the same time I realise that this could turn out to be a once in a lifetime opportunity.

tammy-i just found out what poas means im laughin as i write it but my doctor adviced me to wait and 2 do a bloodtest as sometime we can get a wrong result from a urine test but if i start to get symtoms as it gets closer then i will prob do a test lol..xhow r u?x

Hi girls, its negative this wasn't my time after all but I am sure the 6th ivf is going to be the lucky one. In May I am going to do my FET and hope for the best as I allways do... Who knows, maybe those 2 little blasts sitting in the freezer are my 2 little miracles; Thank you all for your support and prayers. You have been great with me and you are all amazing women and I wish you all only the best! I know if it was up to you i would have had my bfp and I thank you all for that! God bless you!

Oh Anton, I am in tears for you. And yet, you are so strong and so positive and always looking towards the future. You WILL hold your baby in your arms. I so wish I could hop across the ocean and give you and DH big, huge (((HUGS))) Hang in there my friend. Yes, indeed, if up to me you would have your BFP right now. I do believe those 2 frosties are your two miracles. FETs seem to have better success for most women. The April/May thread is huge and filled with wonderful women I have cycled with before. They will love you and your positive spirit! I will be stalking you...count on it!

Lauren: I think it is your RE’s way of saying your DH is “hot”. LOL. Best of luck with the appeal!! When will they let you know?

Greekchick: Symptoms or no symptoms—we all over analyze. Although the truth is you can’t really tell during the 2ww. There are “symptoms” that just come from the progesterone/estrogen you take, there are “symptoms” you invent, and then no symptoms at all can sometimes be the best symptom. Truth is: no way to know until beta. Unless you POAS.

Tess: Yes, if we could turn back time….(isn’t that a Cher song? Ok, now I am really dating myself!) Sorry that you had a good cry yesterday, but sometimes that is helpful and cleansing. You have an awful lot on your mind and on your plate right now. And nothing sounds “crazy”. This is a big decision—one that lasts a lifetime, but it has to be the right decision for you and DH. Chat with her and listen to your heart and mind. You will “know” what decision is best for you.
