klinger13 wrote:Reenie - Your babies are adorable!! Thank you so much for sharing a pic of them! :D

Sonya - You look radiant! I'm so glad you and DH got to spend some time together and vacation.

Margi - I just wanted to say good luck with your u/s tomorrow! I know it will go great and I can't wait to find out how many you've got growing in there. Don't forget too it may be too early to see heartbeats. At my 6wk u/s all we saw was the gestational sacs and yolk sacs. Then when we went back at 6w6d, we could see the h/b. So no worries if you don't see h/b yet.

karen(vancouver) - Hope your OB appointment goes well. Enjoy hearing that beautiful h/b!!

Baby_blu - I'm so sorry you're dealing with such bad heartburn! That sounds terrible! I hope you can get some relief soon.

lou - Good lord, I've never even seen a size 2/4 in my life LOL. I sailed right past those sizes when I was younger and went straight on to 8's and 10's. Once this little girl arrives though, I'll work on getting back into shape.

kay - Yeah, your doctor would drive me bonkers!! WOW!! I stopped the endometrin at 10 weeks. I did have spotting the week after I stopped but then all was well.

AFM, not much new to report, which is nice. Here's my bump from this past Thursday @ 24 weeks.

Amanda - nice to hear you have 'nothing' to report!!! :) I love your baby bump - so cute!!!

Waitingkay, I stopped the suppositories when the Dr. said I could, which my last appointment with him was at 8 weeks. He had cut me down from 3 times a day to 2 times a day between 6 and 8 weeks.

Stephanie-I understand how you feel about complaining. I am thankful to be where I am, but I'm starting to get miserable. I can't imagine having 2 babies inside me right now. All I keep thinking is that I could still have 12 more weeks of this! My lower back hurts and she's making me so uncomfortable because I keep feeling her/my organs up in my ribs. It makes it hard to breathe and sometimes bending over is out of the question.

Sonya-your picture is adorable!

Margi-I'm excited for your u/s tomorrow!

Reenie-Your babies are adorable! I love the name Hamilton, but I live in Hamilton so I might be partial!

Lou-I LOVE the name Abigail. That was one of my favorites. My DH didn't like it. Being a pre-school teacher, there are certain kids that ruin names for you. There's a little girl named Payton and she's a brat and extremely mean for a 18 month old. Doesn't mean yours would be that way, but that's what I think of when I hear that name. Of course, this is your baby, you name him/her whatever you like.

AFM-I'm starting to waddle. I've had lots of lower back pain. I get very uncomfortable when she stretches up. I know it's only going to get worse and that's something I definitely don't look forward to. According to my DH tonight, the baby is starting to "pop out" so now I'm feeling huge. I'm glad that he at least said the baby is popping out & not me (which is usually the comment I get from parents at work). I'm very much looking forward to holding my little girl in my arms instead of having her in my belly!

Margi - it's Tuesday! Let us know how your u/s goes!

Lou, Sonya and Amanda - looking soooo cute! I'm still mostly bloat. I can't wait until it's a baby (or two) in my belly!

Reenie - the twins are adorable. Enjoy them!

Kay - I'm scheduled to stop my meds on April 24, which will be about 10 weeks. I can't wait! I hate the suppositories! ick! Also, my clinic doesn't tell me the babies' heartrate either. They just tell me if it's good or not. It's annoying, but I guess it's nice to have one less thing to obsess about!

Karen - good luck at the OB tomorrow. I hope you hear a nice, strong heartbeat

AFM - wow. Sleep. Lots of sleep. And then more sleep. Geez. I'm falling asleep around 7pm every night and sleeping until morning. I never see David at all! I'm going to try to nap this afternoon so I can be awake a bit in the evening when he gets home from work.

First trimester symptoms are kicking my butt. I'm sooooo nauseated and queasy. I can handle throwing up, but I hate feeling so sick even when I don't have to puke. Alllllll daaaayyyyy. Also, the heartburn is starting, which seems really early. My nipples are killing me! I can't stand to be without a bra. Ouch!

I'm super happy to be pregnant, but really not enjoying these symptoms! I hope my feeling icky means the babies are growing strong!

Margi -- I cannot WAIT for that U/S update!!!!

baby_blu -- Sorry for your heartburn. And when are you getting those lumps looked at? I'm sure all is fine so try not to worry.

Kay -- Thanks for your kind words. So glad your u/s looked great with one healthy baby on the way! My RE doesn't measure heartrate either. I stopped PIO at 10 weeks.

Sonya -- You look amazing! Great smile. You and DH are a great couple! Are you still in Mexico?

Lost -- Thanks for your input on exercise and heart rate. :D

Reenie -- Goprgeous babies!!! Congrats 1000 times. :D Great names too.

Karenvancouver-- How did your OB appt go? I bet the sound of that heartbeat was music to your ears!

Amanda -- Awesome bump! I love it.

Tammy -- You'll be joining us here very soon. Sooo excited for you this cycle. Thanks for the thumb up on the names too.

Diedra-- I know how a name association can spoil an opinion. Thankfully the names we're narrowed to don't have that for us.

Leora -- Aww... So sorry you're so queasy. Glad the babes are well!

Chris -- When is your u/s? Today???

AFM -- I did have my last RE appt yesterday. I brought in a camera and video taped my u/s. DH called me an "asshole" for doing that....lol. I don't care. I got my baby on camera turning completely over. Started face down and then rolled over onto it's back! Soooo cool. Measured right on at 11w3d yesterday. I'll have to upload the video to the web and see if I can post a link. My RE said "goodbye" to us and said to please keep him updated on how the pregnancy is progressing. He wants to be updated on my NT and Level II etc. He also said "when this baby is born, I really need to meet him or her. So please stop in someday". The clinic is only 15 mins away from my house so it's no big deal. I thought that was really nice. My nurse also lives in my neighborhood and she said she'll be watching for a stork in my front yard come October. I actually have my "New OB" appt this Friday with my OB. If I'm lucky, maybe I'll get another scan! If not, then I do have my NT next week Tuesday. After that, it will probably be a month before I see my baby again. <sigh> Thank goodness I have my doppler!!!

u/s isn't till tomorrow. 130 CST, seems like forever. I am so tired, think i could sleep a whole day away. I am so worried we won't see a HB. I have had some really bad cramps. Bad enough it seems like someone is trying to pull out my uterus. hoping its not a bad sign.

Love all the baby bellies. I'll try and do personals later.

Margi I am on the edge of my seat I can't wait to hear how the ultrasound goes

Reenie the twins are precious congratulations

Baby blue I am so sorry you are dealing with the heartburn have you tried Zantac? or Nexium. I have acid reflux disease - so constant heartburn and have been on Nexium (daily) the entire pregnancy and it has worked perfectly and its completely safe. Also sipping carbonated water (NOT soda) really helps

Kay I just hate your docs approach...I am also a control freak and have to know everything. I tried stopping the Endometrin supp at 12 weeks but had a really bad spotting and ended up continuing it until 2 weeks ago

Sonya you look amazing!!! just Amazing. I wish I was in Mexico but since my pregnancy is high risk we decided not to take a vacation outside the country like we do every year....wish I was there too

Amanda you look Great and its so nice that you have "nothing to report" I am hoping to get to 24 weeks without anything to report and then we will announce our pregnancy to everyone

So I have to ask to any of you still have a hard time believing this worked..lol I find myself checking for the baby belly at night when I go to the bathroom to make sure it wasn't all a dream  I mean I can feel baby Paul kick and still I am in a bit of a disbelief

So tired. So nauseous. Hate puking. That pretty much sums up my day. EXCEPT.. I saw my BABY on the screen today! It actually finally looked like a baby! It was the most adorable thing ever! I wish I could steal their U/S machines away from them for a while and keep my eye on that precious life all day, every day. Instead, I only got to see him/her for like 20 seconds because we were not even supposed to do an U/S today. She couldn't detect the baby's heartbeat on the doppler and because of the assault that happened last week, she sneaked in a little preview. That was the highlight of my appt. That NP is useless otherwise. I can't wait to see a real doctor who knows what she's talking about! Next OB appt in 4 weeks! How the heck am I going to survive that long w/out keeping an eye on my little peanut? *sniff* It's going to be very tough! Oh wait, I do have that NT scan on the 13th though, so yay, 2 more weeks! AAH!! I'm just in LOVE with my baby!!

Personals later.. feeling like throwing up again. But thanks to everyone that wished me and my parents well. Means a lot. You ladies are THE best and I am SO glad to have found this forum! I feel like I have no one else to talk to.. for many reasons!

Margi - SO looking forward to your U/S results!! Much love to you and your baby(ies)!

so.... today is exactly 8 weeks and I decided to play with my fetal doppler. Still too early :( boo - oh well.... I'll wait a week and try again!

I've also never had sore breasts. But now my nipples are KILLING me. Ouch!

Margi --- waiting desperately for your update. I hope it's good news, honey.

Ok ladies!!! I promise I wasn't trying to be torturous, but the appt went late and then I had to run into meeting for work. Don't y'all hate when work is so intrusive like that?!?!

Ok. Still lots of question marks....I will start there. But some good news: One sac and yolk that measure 5w 6d which is "perfectly" on schedule. :D A few "blurry" spots she wasn't sure whether they were "anything". One larger sac that was peculiar. She couldn't see visible yolk, but it measured like 7w size. ?? Could it be a non-viable embie that was growing and kicking out hcg? Are identical twins in one sac? Is it possible it is viable or non-viable set of twins? Any theories ladies?

I'm also having a little spotting. :( think it's from the stupid vaginal probe?

He said the sac and yolk seemed right on target so hopefully at least one good baby going to come of this!! :D

I go back Monday (6w5d) to hopefully see a HB. Cautiously happy?

I asked about high hcg suggesting chromosomal abnormalities and he didn't think so--not this early. More likely a vanishing (or to be appearing) twin!

Thank you ladies! I couldn't make it through all this craziness without you. Really.

My ultrasound today didn't go as well as we thought it would. Somehow, it's just been discovered that baby A has a cord dissertion and is having a little trouble keeping up with her sisters growth. Baby A weighs 9oz, and Baby B 13oz. They are going to do another growth scan in 4 weeks. Until then I all I can do is hope she ends up being okay, and catches up. Her cord is on the outer edge of the placenta, so she isn't getting the same kind of blood flow as baby b. We went from her being 3 days ahead for dates, to now being 2 weeks behind. I have always had little babies, this one is just really little. They said there is nothing we can do, and just wait and watch, that she will likely be born premature, and very tiny. For now, we pray, and sit on pins and needles for a month. They will know more then. Doing my best to think happy, positive thoughts.

Oh Mellow I am so sorry you are having to go through more stress in this pregnancy. You have already had to worry so much. I will keep your little girl in my prayers and I am sure she will be ok. Hugs. Was this a regular growth scan ultrasound or level II?

All of their scan are detailed level 2 scans. Each time it's 45 mins, I see a Perio, it's the norm, for me any way.

I guess I was surprised they have not noticed something like this until now was it because it was too early? I have growth scans every 4 weeks and cervical checks every 2 but somehow I was told my Level II anatomy scan will be different next week and I am so nervous and trying to understand the difference.
