Hopeful: I am on estrogen patches and PIO. I am also on a blood thinner. I have had a borderline positive test for a clotting disorder. Therefore, the blood thinner would help keep clots from forming in the placenta as it forms. This is the first time I am on it and the first time I have not had any kind of bleeding during pregnancy. I even bled during my successful pregnancy due to a SCH - a clot between the placenta and uterus. I had been bleeding by this time during both my other pregnancies.

Do clinics vary on what the FET protocol is? I ask this because I read in this thread that someone said they started their period on 11/1 and had the transfer on 11/20 (or similar dates) In looking on-line (prior to this) I read one clinic's sample FET calendar and it was a full two months. The first month was BCP and then the second month started the Lupron.
Which way is more common or is there one that's preferred above another?
I think clinics do vary on their protocols. From the start of my AF in January until transfer, I think it was about 7 weeks. Others seem to move more quickly.

I jumped right into an FET right after my fresh cycle failed. No BCP's no lupron, but I was downregulated from my previous cycle...Also the estrogen that you take to prepare your lining acts like the pill and down regulates you too.
My protocol was start estrace 12mg/day (2 pills 3X/day). Once lining was thick enough I started PIO on day 14. We had 5 day blasts to transfer, so 5 days after PIO ie..day 19, transferred the blasts. Still on estrace and PIO. Was on Medrol just before transfer and doxycycline. It seemed really easy and very quick. Now I'm in the 2ww and going crazy! I don't feel pregnant at all. No symptoms. I'm 6dp5dt and not feeling a thing. Who knows!!

This sounds like the protocol I saw on-line. I don't know what my clinic does. I guess I'll find out.
I so far have a success story- We just found out that I am pregnant. My 1st beta was 248 , my progesterone is a little low so I am really nervous but I talked to my Dr. today and he said that I just needed to take another dose of progesterone. Fingers crossed. Its amazing that the worry goes from not being pregnant to worrying about MC. Baby dust to all..

Yes, it is weird how the worries switch from one thing to the next. I went through the same thing when I did IVF with my DD. I even had a Dr. tell me not to get too excited as I would probably miscarry anyway (I ended up hospitalized with OHSS). All I can say is worrying doesn't help! Just stay prayed up and know that you crossed the first bridge with your BFP. Enjoy being preggers.

Thinking of you and hoping everything is going smoothly.
