Hello everyone,
I couldnt resist and I POAS today. I am 4dp5dt. It was BFN and now I am depressed. Any ideas? Anyone else have this happen? It was a fresh cycle AA blast and was a DE cycle.

Take a step back and relax. its way to early. yes some gals may have seen a positive at this point but most dont see one till after day 11 or 12. some even later then that. I did a beta on day 11 and it was 20, then pOAS the next day and it was negative. Hang in there and good luck!!

I didn't get BFP on HPT until 6dp5dt--which is 2 days after where you are now-- and when I did my beta at 8dp5dp (just 3 days later) it was a whooping 240! You would have thought I'd have gotten a + earlier...you really can't be sure. I am a POAS-aholic, but you need to realize you can get a negative and then get a + beta still!! Hang in there...sending you tons of baby dust!!

Of course it was negative. A positive at this point is all but impossible with an HPT. Your negative means nothing. Try again in 2-3 days. Even then, a negative would mean very little.

I tested again today (why cant I step away from the POAS!!) Still neg at 5dp5dt I used FRER and another brand as well. I forget which one. I am now in an awful mood and just wanna curl up and die. I feel blank and useless.

Has anyone else felt a higher heart rate than usual when first getting out of bed in the morning while on the Prog (also on estro but didnt have it until prog was introduced.)? Also when I walk upstairs it is higher than usually. Just wondered if anyone else got this during this part of an IVF cycle. and I have felt so drained like the life has been sucked out of me since the day of transfer. I'm scared and nervous. Tried to help do the garden today and cant, no energy and lifting one little hand held hoe is like lifting a ton of bricks.

I'm pregnant with twins and only got a SUPER faint BFP at 7dp5dt. You are still super early. Chin up!

BACK AWAY FROM THE STICKS!!!! Take a few days off. Then come back to them. Don't stress yourself out over these early tests. You'll go crazy!!!

Think about it logically... the HCG numbers double every 48 hours or so. SO, mine was (e.g.,) 168 14 days after the transfer. If you do the math, my HCG 4 days after the transfer would've been something like 6; this would NOT be picked up on an HPT. Don't fret

It's tooooooo early. Try not to convince yourself that there is no chance. Some people have early prgnancy test come back positiv but most don't get them until a little later. I blogged about this topic not long ago if you would like to read it....
