We have 2 PERFECT heartbeats!!!! All measures well, 6w5d=baby A and 6w6d=baby B. We got tons of pictures and got to hear both of their heartbeats...what a beautiful sound. I am in shock. Heart rate was 130 for Baby A and 115 for Baby B. Does that sound to be about right? Wow. DH and I are so relieved. I know it is certainly early and that "things" can happen early on, but for now I am going to relish in the fact that we ARE pregnant and have 2 strong heartbeats.
I go back next Wednesday for another u/s.
Can you all hear me grinning from ear to ear?
PS Crissy: DH asked OB about "O" and sex. He told us no sex for at least a few weeks, but that O was ok. He said he recently read an article with a lot of research stating that it doesn't have a negative affect. (I really like my OB--big on the latest research).

Yay! I've been waiting for this update!!! So excited for you. Are they in one sac, or two? Margi, you are blessed!
Two sacs! There is evidence of a SCH, but he said not too close (?), and hopefully won't be causing any problems but they will monitor. I wasn't sure what questions to ask there...

hmmm... I meant your regular EDD, Margi. I'm due 11/8 and I'm 8w6d... if you are 2 weeks behind me, that means your EDD must be 11/22 or so. Yes, twins are definitely born earlier (most OBs will induce by 38 weeks), but you still count your regular due date, since it tells how far along you are.
8 IVF+6 FET=6 BFN+8 BFP =
-b/g twins 22w (12.09)
-mc 10w (9.10)
-Micha (7.19-24.11) & Asaf (7.19-28.11) born at 24w
-mc 5wk (2.12)
-no HB at 18w (10.12)
-BO (4.13)-
-mc 6wk (9.13)

OK! My (regular) EDD is 11/23/11
And sorry I am not the most technologically savvy, but here's what I can accomplish...sorry it is so large and blurry...

Margi -- Oh what wonderful news you have for us today! Congrats x 2!!!! I knew there would be one but had a sneeking suspicion that there would possibly be TWO. Enjoy every moment.
Lou--- 1 beautiful baby girl from a single 8 cell embie in Sept 2011
We had the growth check/follow up Level II ultrasound today. She's perfect! 2lbs 9oz, 54th percentile, 3 days ahead. We do not have to return to the specialist.
They were only able to get one good pic because she didn't want to show her face. Her hand is in front of her mouth - it's likely she was sucking her thumb!

Margi: Congratulations on your twins. How exciting for you. The SCH is totally normal with twins. If you have bleeding call your OB immediately. I knew nothing about them and woke up to a horribly scary gush of blood.
Stephanie: Did you get the lump checked yet? I have one under my right arm, had an ultrasound and it's just a lymph node, thank god.
Barbara : Great picture of your little princess.
AFM: Went for my OB appointment today. Babies are great, my belly's big, and got my bloodwork results back. Glucose was only 100, HIV was negative, but I'm extremely anemic. I laughed and told the doctor if I had to have something I'm glad its anemia. Now I get to take iron 3 x's a day, maybe I won't be so tired and can stop taking my 2-3 hour naps every day.
Gina - a word of warning -- I'm always anemic and I'm supposed to be on iron supplements all the time -- they will make you SUPER constipated. Serious. Take a laxative. I'm glad that's the only thing wrong!
Barbara - she is so cute! Congrats!
Margi - looking good!
AFM - I definitely think I'm sick - and it's not pregnancy related. Seems like a cold or a virus. Throat is killing me (and not from throwing up - a different kind of swollen/hurt feeling) and I have a splitting headache. Of course, our tylenol is expired (I usually prefer ibuprofen, so I don't keep the tylenol stocked) and our Sudafed is the 'all-in-one' with ibuprofen in it! Ugh. It's 1am, so I'll have to wait until tomorrow morning to get some meds. I'm trying to drink tea, but it's making me throw up more. Ughhhhhh.....

Margi - I am soo happy for you. I felt so sure with your numbers and all that it had to be twins. your heartbeats are about the same as mine were at that stage. One was always smaller and HB a little slower. They get faster each time. That is just so wonderful - some good sunshiny news on a rainy, stormy day here.
Lou - Good luck with your NT scan tomorrow. I need to call and check on the status of mine getting scheduled. They said they would call and schedule it and that was on Thursday - trying to be patient but I will push tomorrow. I know it has to be done fairly soon so I am getting anxious.
Leora - I also stopped all my meds at 10 weeks - no weaning. I did not have any spotting or anything. My RE also specified before I even asked that I did not need to ween down. I think you should do whatever you are most comfortable with and will cause you the least amount of stress. It sounds like it has been done both ways. We have had 4 hours straight of heavy constant down pour and thunderstorms. The weather map look like we could have another 4. So if you want some rain I have extra to share. I may need to invest in a boat.
Happy bunny - that is great news on the growth check. That is a great US picture.
AFM - I have been having bad headaches. Don't know if it is because of the weather pressure systems moving in and out - I was fine all weekend with the sunny weather but then today with the storm I can hardly function. I used to get migraines / stress type headaches but have managed them for the past several years with exercise. I hope they are not returning!!! Anybody else with experience with this?
