<3 Just Starting...

Post by sassicassi »

I am 24 and my husband is 35. We have a son (my husbands biological child) who is 9 and absolutely hopeful to have siblings very soon. I have had 2 miscarriage (one was a molar pregnancy) and have been seeing my RE for about 3 years now. I have done soo many tests I can't even keep up anymore. In the end though we have found that nothing can be explained. There are no problems and my husbands sperm count, motility, and everything is fantastic! If only we could conceive. We have done 2 rounds of cholomid, 1 round of another med i don't remember, 2 IUI's, and now venturing down the path of IVF. I am starting a chlomid challenge test because it's been 3 years since I have done one, and then I will begin the whole process. My doctor and all the nurses are amazing! I have tons of questions about the best way to go about it. I have 10 lbs to lose in the next month or so before insemination to help our chances. Otherwise we lead healthy lifestyles and workout regularly. I am PRAYING for good results but I don't want to get my hopes up. This rollercoaster has been a difficult ride with all of the emotions we have dealt with. We have opted not to tell anyone except my best friend and my in-laws (because they watch my son when we travel to the doctor) so I don't have many people to talk to about it. I prefer it that way only because I have been through the heartbreak of explaining to everyone that there will be no baby. I am looking for any advice and stories. I would love to share my story as I go along and definitely give advice to anyone who has recently discovered their fertility issues and how my family and I have coped. :)

I am sorry that no one responded to you. If you go over to the IVF side and go under April/may or summer group, depending on when you are cycling, I guarantee you will make some great bonds and learn a lot of wonderful information along the way. :D

I did 3 rounds of clomid, then 3 cycles of IVF before I found this site. After that miscarriage I was ready to throw in the towel if it wasn't for all the support I have found here. 3 IUI's and one more IVF later and look at my siggie now!

Feel free to PM me with any questions, but really, joining a thread is the best way to get connected.

Best of luck!!

Tons of baby dust to you!

Hi not sure if this is British American or global, but Hi to you all. i am Simone 32 and hubby is tony 35. Our journey started four years and 4 months ago. A month before we got married. Well we figured no one would see a baby bump. And no one did cos' we never made it that far yet!
I have had two rounds of clomid and am about to start my first full ivf cycle. Buresilin starts on the 9th May. We have had so much support from our NHS team. I really feel for others pre-mummies who have to suffer the postcode lottery in Britain or spend their life savings.

Our team is great and our clinic is one of the best in the country. We are having the icsi procedure due to the nature of our combined infertility issues. So here goes.! :o
