yes, scents are an issue around eggs/ embryos BUT:
i think it would be a much bigger issue if the staff who were working with your eggs/ embryo's were the ones wearing the perfumes... cause they are the ones with much more exposure to them.. a transfer is pretty quick- and they go from a secluded tube to inside your body, where scents can't bother them .. i believe this is why your RE didn't ask you to go fix it.. they want good statistics - all clinics do-.. hopefully they also heartfully want you to have a baby.
if i was in your shoes, i'd call and ask to talk to him about this, cause you sound pretty worried, and although there is nothing you can do about the outcome (perfume or not), you can do something to ease any urge to beat yourself up or obsess... and if you're anything like me- you're pretty good at both of those.. just ask to chat with him about it- it could go a long long way to easing your mind
