Hope you don't mind me butting in.... but I just wanted to wish Dagny all the luck in the world for your latest go at this - you gave me so much support my first time round last month. I've not been around much - thinking about other things for a change :) But you really deserve this.
Thinking of you,
Jaye

Hi All

Hope everyone enjoyed their weekends. Hope all goes well today Kel & Debra (still trying to get to grips with all the names going through this at the moment, so sorry if I forget anyone)

Interested to see I'm not the only one suffering with loss of apetite, am injecting 300iu of Gonal-F each night and breakfast is a real chore, but I make myself do it. No other side effects but I don't feel quite right, nothing specific but I am very concious of my lower abdomen.

Looking forward to my scan on 16th fingers crossed something is happening and I get a date for EC.

Am typing this on a conference call which is really boring and a waste of time - whoops just heard my name and I haven't a clue what I am supposed to be doing - go away I'm sorting out a baby!!!! Sad bunch think that this work lark is more important!!

Such a stressful time for everyone but also in a strange way quite exciting, like everyone I swap from being positive and day dreaming about a baby (which I have been doing for the past 5 years) to being positve about a negative (if you know what I mean) making plans for the rest of this year which would do not make allowances for anyone in a 'condition' :D

Oh well call has just finished I suppose I should start to look like I am working, although I worked quite hard last week so I shan't be over stretching myself this week.

Looking forward to seeing what this week holds for us all - you really are all very supportive.

Good morning lovely JCB's

Firstly - WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH :x England 1 - France 2

Jaye - You are a sweetie, thankyou so much for your good luck wishes. how are things going with you?? Take care and 'speak' soon.

Debra - Okay, so Ray Mears can make you a meal out of some leaves and some badger poo which is nice ( :?: ) but David Beckham can do Keepie uppies!! No contest I'm afraid  !!!!

Seriously though, I hope your scan went well this morning. I sometimes wish our shops wern't open on a Sunday. It's too easy to waste day in the shops when you could be spending some lovely quality time with your DH and family.

Kt - How are you finding the 2ww? Hopefully we can help to make it go quicker for you by discussing irrelevant things on this website as well as answering any queeries you have as well. Keep the fluids up girl, very important. Try some prune juice for the constipation and bran.

DeeDee - Hope you get a date for EC and that things are going well. I know what you mean about feeling excited but stressed at the same time. I don't know whether I am coming or going

Loopy - It sounds like you have been busy this weekend. Your footie prediction was the wrong way round! I was so shocked at that result. What a pile of POO :x How are you feeling today?

Kel - How was the scan, buddy and how is the sickness? My brother is a song writer and produces all his stuff. It's not his main profession (works in the city) and does his music all of his spare time. He's a bit of a Daniel Beddingfield really only without the record contract  He used to be in a few bands and I used to be a groupie  He wrote a beautiful piece of classical music for Katelyn's funeral, so moving.

All this talk of Australia, I've never been but I watch Neighbours and Home & Away so does that count?? The family I used to nanny for, for 8 years have moved to Queensland last year so hopefully we will go over and visit them one day soon.

Staci - How are you today???

TS - Glad to see you are keeping an eye on us lot as well. Your advice is invaluable.

My first jab went well but an hour late! I was planning to do an 8pm jab but by the time we left my inlaws it was late and DH had to take his daughter home so I had to do it all alone :( I am so used to doing them though it wasn't a problem.

I did however have terrible pains in my ovaries in the night especially my left one. I have never had any effects so soon before so I hope there isn't a problem. Terrible period pain on top of it all as well :?

My fertility nurse has just rung and said she will send me my timetable so I should have some idea of when EC and ET will be depending on things going to plan. I can't believe I am back on this bloody roller coaster AGAIN

Hope I have not missed anyone. Where is Dana??

Loopy - Good luck with your scan on Thursday! Hope you can get jabbing on sat! (weird that we can't wait to stab ourselves isn't it?????!!)

Dagny - Glad your first jab went ok!! I know I had a different down reg to you, but just to let you know I had really awful crampy pains straight away from d.reg too.. Hope the pains ease up for you! Sooo glad I'm not feeling so sick now thanks that was horrid all weekend! Nice one about your brother, that must have been so special for him to write a song for Katelyn. What a lovely and personal thing to do..

DeeDee - Good luck for your scan on the 16th! Hope your jabs are going ok too? We are JABBING GALORE on here aren't we!!!?! That did make me laugh the fact you were on a conference call, did you just make something up when you were asked something????!

Tracey - Thanks for keeping an eye on us! :D

Well my scan went well today! And so EC is now booked for Wednesday!!! HOOOOORAY!! :D We are so pleased after worrying things were moving a bit slow... So I even had my last stim jab dose reduced this morning and do my HCG jab tonight!!! Follies have grown nicely, few 18mm's and some 17's and quite a few more 14-16's.. I now feel like my insides are trying to push their way out of my belly like an ALIEN!!!!! (hope that doesn't happen on Wednesday?)

Bye for now!

Kel

How exciting, I got a wierd feeling when I read your news, fingers crossed, but best to keep those legs crossed after ET.

I am clearly mad as I can't wait till 9pm each night when I stab myself, which despite my first couple of attempts which were a disaster are OK now. The first time, I primed the pen thingy, then put the needle in only to realise that I hadn't set the dose, so had to take it out and stab myself all over again. Then then next night, trying to sow off in front of DH and let him see what a brave girl I am, I hit nerve and boy it hurt, I've a bruise there now, had to then send him away as I am sure him watching was making me tense. I think secretly he would like to be stabbing me, especially as I have been more than a bit moody lately but as I seem to being doing OK he is leaving me to it. If all else fails I think I may investigate a new career in the medicine, after all I have watched loads of Casualty, ER, and Holby City!!! :D

Oh well nearly time to go home,

Good Stabbing everyone
Lets see what tomorrow brings

Hello! Soooo many buddies on here now :D , it feels so nice to pop on and read what everyone's doing.

Kel - good news on the follie size. Just read back and I can't how find many there are. Do you know yet? So glad you're not feeling sick anymore, that's the pits. Get ready in early pg!! EC is Wednesday?? that's great. Two more sleeps.....don't forget to paint your toenails :!: It's hot in Suffolk? huh! I don't like the heat but we've had a storm for 24hours. Admittedly v. unusual but we've high winds and rain hitting the windows - euw! We've also got good daylight until well after midnight and then it's full light again before 0300 when those darn birds start up again  Still, I prefer this to the opposite in mid-winter. Sooooo depressing to still be dark at 10 am and then watch the sun set 4 hours later. And....no you're not a traitor!!!

DeeDee - keep enjoy that stabbing  Funny isn't it, who would have thought we'd end up enthusiastically doing this? Good luck with the scan on Wednesday, a big day for many JCBs. Do you think it will be tmt next week?

Dagny - badger poo indeed! I'm glad you got that first shot out of the way. You're firmly back on track....with a huge amount of support. You know how many people are sending you love and good luck.

Kt - how's the 2ww going? staying calm? not dashing to the loo every 15 mins?

Staci - is your move to Fl. permanent? work-related? are you happy with your new medical team? was there a good range of clinics to choose between? As far as I know, mine is the only private clinic in town (but there's only 150,000 people here). There is an excellent ivf team at the local hosp. but they only treat upto age 38....sigh. Did you buy more Vit.A??

Teresa - Hi, well done on treatment so far. How lovely for your sister to expect twins. Having read a few of the posts on the other side, it sounds like bloody hard work! I'm sure the rewards are there once they start doing the nice things...but initially, it must be exhausting. I've never heard of IVM. What are the stats like? what are the advantages? I share your feelings of excitment/nerves/stress...all muddled up together.

Loopy - how are you doing? looking forward to your scan on Thursday? I'm slightly confused with our tmt dates now. Looks like I'll be about a week ahead of you. How can that be?

My scan went well today. It was early (Day 7 of stims) to check if my meds need changing. They don't, things looked good - for Day 7 - we saw 9 follies: 2 x 11mm, 2 x 10mm, 1 x 9mm on one side and 4 smaller on the other, the largest being 7mm. I've another scan on Friday 18th and if all OK, probably EC on Tuesday 22th, ET Thursday 24th. I've quickly cancelled all my work for next week and am feeling confident. I only had 9 follies with my first tmt, which was successful and we had 4 frosties. This feels good.

Tracey S - pl. ignore the twins message above, yours will be well behaved from birth!!!

Traci - how are you doing? Missing your cousin? it sounded like you're close, I envy that. I'd love a larger family, albeit in England.

Hi to everyone, esp. anyone I've forgotten - sorry.

love
Debra.

Hey Debra,
IVM procedure are the exact same as IVF /ICSI except no medication (NATURAL), my doctor thinks that since my age (28) and I am perfectly healthy, and produce around 46 follices at my last scan, he doesn't think that I require meds to induce ovulation. Are only problem is Dh low sperm count ! There is one stabbing to be done 24 hours after EC, and another one after ET, and then they will scan me to see if my uterine lining is thick enough, and if not some meds to help it .
The IVM also includes ICSI . The success rate is about 5 % less then IVF ... but we have agreed to transfer 4-5 EMBYROS !!!
hhhummm wouldn't that be nice :D
anyway I shall talk to you soon !!
Good Luck

Debra - thanks for the twins remark - if they are anythign like me and currently arguing all the time inside then I am in for a right barrel of laughs  This time sounds really good for you - I have everything crossed but reckon it's a good one!

Dagny - you know I am always here for you but wanted to say good luck anyway! Hope all ok - amymore odd dreams?

Post by Bronagh »

Hi girls,
I just wanted to say hello to everyone going threw their cycles this month.
I got a -ative last month but now feel strangely normal and am just getting on with things. Glad not to be filled with drugs but would happily be drugged up to the eyeballs if it meant getting a +ative.

Anyway take a deep breath and good luck to everyone,i'll be keeping an eye on you.

regards
Bro
