fruit - Good Luck to you and don't go crazy in the 2ww. As i posted before, don't worry about the perfume. i seriously doubt that has any effect on your transfer. As for me I was unexplained infertility for a long time, then after 4 canceled IVF cycles and 2 BFN's they diagnosed me with diminished ovarian reserve. How i finally got it to work is by using donor eggs. figured 6 IVF cycles with my eggs was more then enough. So we took the jump and bought some eggs from a 25 year old. Nope it isn't my genetics but i still have a baby growing inside of me now and that is the main goal of all this crap. As far as RE's go, in the 3 years i went through 4 of them plus i had a consult with another RE that i chose not to go to. Each one said oh we can make it work.

bliss- yes the odds of your one embie being thawed and then frozen again is a long shot. You never know what might happen. does your clinic do vitrification or cyropreservation. If they do vitrification you will probably have a higher chance of it surviving. Oh well who cares, this FET will work and you won't have to worry about those other embies.

AFM - got to see my little blob again yesterday. that is what it looks like a little blob. guess i should call it something different. i had to make up a slight little lie to get an u/s. my ob doesn't do u/s till 12 weeks so i said i had lots of sharp pains. which i have had a few but nothing major. so i go my u/s. he/she is measuring right on target at 8w3day. i

hey everybody!!! sorry i have not been on here but i have had a slight issue. lol
ok number 1..... transfer went great! 2 5day blast one was 100% expanded and one 90% expanded.
ok number 2..... tested positive at 4.5 days past transfer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
beta was 11 days past transfer and was positive with beta at 96.9 and estrogen was 130 and progesterone was 63
next beta is this monday
the deal with me being banned from this website is because i said some very harsh words about a woman on one of the boards that did an interview with a canadian tv station and said things like she really only wanted girls and was saying how she had a boy with downs so she gave him because of it and she found out she was having another boy and she was having a problem finding someone to adopt this one. all because they were boys. anyway i said some ugly stuff and i got banned permanently.
i was shocked when i checked this morning to see if i was banned and it let me create another user name. so im back but dont know how long? lol

Cherry5- Sorry you got kicked off for saying harsh words. To be honest I agree with you and probably would have done the same thing. Good news is your back and preggo!! And it looks like we are only a few days apart!!

WeHaveHope- Woo hoo for getting to start BCP. Even though it sucks it’s a part of the process and means your one step closer to getting that baby.

Fun- How exciting that you got to see your little one again!! Pretty soon you definitely wont be able to call he/she a blob. Its crazy how fast they go from alien to human like. Even though you had to fib Im glad you got to check in and see that things are going great.

Crissy- Hope you and little bit are still hanging out over there. I feel like the last few weeks really have flown by. You and SD are so close to being over the first trimester!!! A little less worry…little of course since we will always worry.

Mamaboo- Yeaaa for 1 little heartbeat!!! Im sure it was relieving to see he/she in there with the little flicker on the screen. Congrats on the good news.

Bliss- Did the acupuncture help bring on AF? I finished all my pre-treatment acupuncture visits but may go ahead and do a few more just to make sure Im staying relaxed. I cant wait for you to get going and see that BFP. It’s the 4th time that works!!!

AFM- Sorry if I missed anyone. After vacation I feel like I need another vacation just to catch back up with things. Even though I was checking in on everyone while I was gone I just wanted to re-read and make sure I didn’t miss anything. I have been taking tests daily just to make sure the positive is still there and luckily it has been. I went for my first beta today and it was 677 only 10 days after the transfer!!! That seems crazy high but as long as we end up with one little one we will be thrilled. The only weird thing is my stomach- I was relatively thin before and the past few days my stomach is already pouched out. Still able to be hidden but geez if things keep up at this pace everyone will know we are pregnant in no time. Sooooo excited and I go back on Monday for beta #2. Keep those beta doubling thoughts coming my way!! Let me know if I need to change anyone on the list….I know some have dropped off but I feel bad removing them without knowing the outcome.

Hi all,

Haven't checked in since my BFN a couple of weeks ago. Blair I am SOOOOO happy for you... Nice to see that some on this board are getting good news... Well deserved after such a long journey...We are doing our last FET this month. Went for u/s this am and once I get the happy face re ovulation test, then they set the date for FET. Likely around Easter weekend. We have one last embie to transfer... Then our IVF journey will be over... I turn 40 this July and don't see myself going through it again (but you never know). I had really bad OHSS (with 2 drainings) and I'd be terrified to go through that again... Feeling hopeful this time. My DH says that if the odds of FET working are 30% (according to my RE), then this is our 3rd go at it so we have a 90% chance that it HAS to work, right??

nicnad1- Sorry that you didnt have good news but glad you could get started again. I know that some clinics actually have higher FET success rates than they do frozen so wishing you the best of luck with this one. Easter weekend sounds like a good time to bring that little one home! Sounds like you already have a stubborn one who likes all the attention and wanted to save the best for last. Keep your head up and stay positive...this is your time!

margi- Thanks for the congrats. I did see your siggie and that it was very comparable to mine so I would be beyond thrilled with twins. Triplets would be a little much but of course we would do everything we could to make things work.

I went for my u/s on Wednesay. Sac is where it suppose to be. OB said he wants me to come in once a week til I'm 9 weeks. Then, he'll put me in as a regular OB patient. Saying prayers for all of you.

Hi ladies. I spent yesterday in the ER due to breathing problems. They x-rayed my lungs and found something there - I thought I was just having an asthma attack. The Dr said it could be one of three things 1) pneumonia 2) a blood clot that went to my lung and caused a pulmonary infarction 3) a mass such as a tumor. He didn't think it was a tumor. He wanted to test for the blood clot because I am borderline for 2 clotting disorders. However, a CT scan and nuclear medicine scan introduce you to 300 x's the radiation of an x-ray and this is a very vulnerable time for our baby right now. I refused those scans. They did a blood work up and that could not rule out a clot, but pregnancy can throw those #'s off. So, they did an u/s of my legs and did not find evidence of a clot. Dr said if it was a clot, it had already done it's damage. However, a second clot could block arteries and cause death. However, I am already on a blood thinner for this pregnancy. Therefore, we are treating this as pneumonia. I am on antibiotics and hope it goes away as it should. Out of all possibilities, pneumonia is the best.

Oh Mamaboo! How very scary!! Please take extra good care of yourself. This sounds quite serious. Hope that it is pneumonia (that sounds so horrible to say, but I guess is better than the alternatives). Sending you lots of healing energy and prayers.

oh my goodness - mamaboo! so sorry to hear your sorry. i hope it is pneumonia and not the other stuff!!! keeping my fingers crossed for you that this resolves quickly and with the best possible outcome. keep us posted and feel better!!! soon
