Good Doctors in LA / Orange County Area

Post by tony22 »

Hello,

Can anyone advise any good doctors in LA Area who are experienced in IVF. We just had a failed IVF and I need a second opinion on our situation. I want to go to the best at this point. If there are any weblinks that have rating information or any personal experience with a good doctor - we would appreciate that.

Regards

Tony

Hi,

Ghost told me about www.sart.org to find a good clinic in my area. It has the stats on many clinics so it may be helpful to you.

Hi Tony
I read and posted on your other thread. The Southern Cal Reproductive Centre is one of the top 10 in the country according to Baby Magazine. They are really nice & there are 3 docs to choose from .. Dr Surrey, Dr Danzer & Dr. Chang. They have a very sophisticated set-up, so maybe they could help you.

All the best

I'd also highly recommend Reproductive Partners. They are just fantastic and really make me feel like "family" each time I'm there.

Initially I went to Dr. James Lin and didn't have success with him after 1 IVF cycle and I think I was around 37/38 yrs old.
I am now 39/40 yrs old and had my first baby after 7 years of IUI and IVF treatments combined on my first IVF cycle with Dr. Acacio in Orange County. I had a lap and D&C ~ 18 mos before my IVF cycle with Dr. Acacio and he treated me with Intralipid infusions that were not used with Dr. Lin. I think Dr. Acacio has more success and experience in treating patients with endo and other common problems.

Dr. Acacio and staff are professional, efficient, warm, caring, etc. The environment they create is comfortable and not stressful. I am still surprised that we are pregnant since we almost gave up and didn't even think it was possible. Dr. Acacio is a miracle worker, highly recommend!

I don't know how Baby Magazine rates clinics, but I agree SCRC has a good reputation

To find good clinics, I recommend SART or the websites derived from SART data.

Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
