Can 3 carseats fit in a honda crv? anyone have other recommendations?

According to the sources I can find, the rear hip room in a CRV is around 54". Most car seats are at least 20" wide, so three would not fit, even if the anchor points were there. If one of your kids were old enough to go in a forward facing car seat, you could possibly put that car seat in the front passenger seat, though it's not recommended.

There's also the whole "car seats are touching means the kids are in range to fight" thing.

If "another recommendation" means another recommendation for a car, the Honda Odyssey is great. There was a recent thread here where that was pretty much the consensus car for multiple kids.

try the radian xt by sunshine kids, great car seat highly rated and slimmer than most!

It should fit perfectly! Your kids will have enough room CR-V is way better than a station wagon. The middle seats should provide you ample space.
