Ryann - I would definitely include the blast pics. Our earliest pics are when we had 2 sacs so we'll need to explain that there was a twin that didn't progress, but we definitely want her to know. In addition to the twin we had 3 previous losses so she has a lot of little angels looking out for her and we'd want her to know that someday.

Thanks for all the input ladies. That helps and it is firmly in place in baby boy's book! I haven't started baby girl's yet Gina-I actually started for the exact opposite reason...I was afraid that with all the commotion of getting ready for them and the their arrival that I would lose all my pics! So I figured it'd be better to get them safe in a scrapbook. I still need to get all the cute little decorative stuff, but at least they are in the book. So far in baby boy's book the ultrasounds alone have taken up 4 pages...and I know there's more to come with an ultrasound at every appt now, so we may end up needing a second book for each baby by the time they get here!!!

DH is painting away in the nursery while I sit on the couch keeping my heart rate down just knowing that he is getting their room ready makes me smile their nursery is actually DH's childhood room because we bought our home from his parents when they moved out of state. He spent all day yesterday taking down his fighter jet border that he picked out as a little boy I tried to save a little piece of it but he was so frustrated after removing all the wallpaper he threw it all away! At least it's a cute story to tell the kids some day!

So, I decided I was going to go into town to purchase the paint (zero VOC, of course) for the boys' new nursery at our new house. Well, an hour ago, I got in the shower, did my hair, got into "leaving the house" clothes (which doesn't happen a lot these days) and now... I'm propped up in bed with my feet up and a huge glass of water !!! I completely wore myself out getting ready to go to Lowe's! Gonna hang out here for about 15 minutes then take another stab at it.

Hello everyone! I have been stalking and thinking about everyone on this board. With finals happening and a full load in college, I have rarely been on the computer other than to study. My Mom came up from Florida and I decided to have a 4D ultrasound done. She has never seen one and I feel that she has been a little left out of this process due to the fact that I live 800 miles away from her. Thought I would post some of the pics of my little man. The tech said that he smiled and made more funny faces than she is used to seeing! Too funny!

Ashley - 2nd trimester! yay! I can't believe I'll be 12 weeks in a few days. Time seems to be flyyyying by!

Gina - sooo precious! I love the picture of Wyatt and his mommy!

Chris - I find my own hb all the time! Then I panic that the babies aren't okay - because the hb is only 95.... then I remember that my own is that fast! Also, losing a little weight isn't necessarily a bad thing, unless you started off underweight. I started off a bit overweight (about 5'4 and 190lbs). I'm down about 12 lbs because of nausea and vomiting. As long as you are staying hydrated and taking vitamins/supplements (folic acid, iron, calcium are the most important) - the baby will be fine.

Amanda - I got my first ever finger stick at the hospital when I was dehydrated (they were testing my sugar levels which were way too low so they added sugar to my IV). It hurt like HELL! It took days for the prick on my finger to heal! I asked a friend who is Type I Diabetic how she does it so many times a day. She says that the trick is to prick the SIDE of your finger, not the tip, since the tip is where all the nerve endings are. I hope your sticks don't hurt!

Lou - I was totally surprised that he was willing to guess. Last time, my NT was at 13+ weeks and they still wouldn't guess - and they wouldn't guess at 15 weeks either! I know things can still change at this point, but I'm thinking at least one boy! Also, that is so scary about your husband. I'm so glad to hear that they don't think the cancer is back. My brother suffers from seizures and it's really scary. I hope they find something that will help them stop. -- Also, I was told that there is no NT measurement too small. Mine were 0.6 and 0.7mm! That's teeeeeeny!

Ryann-- with our first IVF, we were asked if we wanted pictures of the embryos. I said no, since I thought that would be really depressing if the cycle was BFN. Since then, they haven't asked and we don't have pictures of them. I think I would rather NOT have the pictures of the embryos that become babies than ALSO have pictures of the embryos that don't... that seems weird to me. But that's just me! If I had them, I would include them in a baby book. --- btw when your kids are older, there are books designed to help parents explain to pre-school aged kids 'where they came from' if they came from IVF...

Freckels -- soooo cute!

AFM -- today DH had off of work since tomorrow is the last day of Passover.We wanted to spend the day hanging out. We decided to go downtown and walk around and shop.... after about an hour I was WIPED OUT! We came home and I'm taking a rest now. How crazy is that? Granted, it's about 90F outside, but I had a hat on, we were in the shade and I was drinking tons. My feet started to swell like crazy and I felt out of breath and soooooo tired.

Before we went home though, we found some really cute onsies on sale... I bought 2 "boy" one --- I'm betting at least ONE of these babies is a boy. One says "Made in Israel" and the other says "Eligible bachelor" in Hebrew. Very cute!

Kaylie - what great pics of your LO!! So adorable!! And so glad you were able to check in to let us know how you're doing.

Leora - Your little ones look soooooo cute!!! And I love the onesies you bought, too funny! Yes, thank goodness the nurse at my diabetes class told me to prick the side of my finger so it hasn't been too bad so far (though every so often I'll hit a sore spot.) But hey, with all the shots we go through with IVF, the finger pricks are easy peasy.

Leora -- Great scan pics of your "probably boys". I'm glad to hear there is no NT too small. Mine was 0.83 and I hadn't really heard many people talk of a measurement less than 1, so I wondered.

Freckles -- Sooooooo cute. OMG... I love the faces he makes in the 4D scan pics. I can't wait to have something like that.

Ryann -- We decided not to put the embie pic in the baby book, only because we weren't open with everyone that we did IVF. I will keep that photo in a special place and share it with my child at the right time. I do think it's great to include it though if everyone already knows how you conceived.

Bunny -- Thanks for filling me in on the epidural class. Interesting since I don't think I'll get one.

AFM -- Thank you Leora, Chris, Rio, and Amanda for your concern for DH's seizures and our brain tumor scare. It really was horrible to be THAT scared. I cannot tell you how relieved we are. I was actually regretting being pregnant when I got too down about it. Now I can sit back and enjoy it! We told DH's family at Easter today that we are expecting. We told them right away because my tummy definitely looks fuller than usual. They all seemed genuinely happy for us. I took a 15 week pic yesterday. Here it is. I'm filling out!

Lou- I am still jealous of the great shape you are in. You look great in that picture! Glad you all finally got to tell DH family and they were excited for you. I am also glad to hear everything is ok with DH.

leora- Those onesies are too funny. Sounds like those boys (or boy and girl) are already wearing you out easily, but 90 degree temperatures would make anyone exhausted.

freckles- WHats a handsome little boy. I love that they managed to get a smiling and sad face!!

babyblu- Hope you ended up making it to Lowes for the paint. Im sure it was a very exhausting weekend with all the moving.

ryann- I personally would put the embryo pics in the scrapbook. We have ours from each cycle and even though we put 3 in this time and may not have 3 babies I still think its a great first picture. Once we tell people we are going to be open about the whole ivf thing so including the first picture will just be the beginning. Glad DH is getting their nursery painted. What color are you going with since its one of each?

AFM- Still anxiously awaiting my first US. Have been feeling more nauseated lately but nothing extreme. This morning I felt like I needed to curl into a ball when I was trying to get ready for work though. I did end up getting another beta friday just to calm my nerves. It came back at 15,181 and thats at 17dp5dt. Hoping thats a good sign and we see a very health baby(ies) when we go.

Blair - I think you defiantly have 2 in there. My beta a day 25 was only in the 6,000 range. Can't wait for your ultra sound.

Lou - you look awesome.

ryann - I am going to put the picture on my embies in the photo album. I have 2 blasts but i know which one is the boy and which was the girl so i can point out to my child which one he/she started out as. Having the pics of our embies is pretty much the only extra we get for doing IVF.

I am still biding my time till my 12 week scan. 2 more weeks to go. I do have to go back to the OB on Wednesday so they can go over my sugar levels. so much fun. I have been to the OB 4 times in 3 weeks. Just wish i could see or hear my little bean each time i went.
