u/s went great today! we have 1 baby & we saw the heartbeat. re said it was in the 120's and was measuring 6 weeks. i am 6 weeks and 2 days but re said everything looked fine. the sac was measuring around a week behind but that is what happened to my now 3year old too so i dont know what the deal is with that. i have a pic but i dont know how to get it on here :( my progesterone is 76 and they said they wont monitor estrogen or hcg now that weve seen baby and heartbeat!

cherry- Congrats on seeing your little ones heartbeat. Ive never heard of the sac measuring behind the baby, but I guess as long as that baby is doing well thats all that matters. I am so jealous...I still have another 8 1/2 days before I get to see whats going on inside. Im just hoping we see a healthy baby like you did. Congrats again to you all!!!

WeHaveHope- Hip Hip Hooray! HIp Hip Hooray! Your injections are under way! That's BIG and I am very happy for you. Assuming I have a great SnS on Thursday I will be doing the hokey pokey with you soon. It feels good!

My FET will likely fall between May 7th and 10th. Last time I transferred on CD15 which will put me on May 8th (which is a Sunday). I think it will be Tuesday the 10th since I tend to measure a little thin, so my guess is the Doc will give me through the weekend to beef up a little to prepare for those babies. FET is so interesting though, I guess it all depends on how the follicles look and when ovulation begins to threaten. We'll see!

Cherry- great to hear you had such a wonderful ultrasound and your beautiful baby has a strong healthy heart beat. You must be ecstatic!

Blair- I just know that you will be joining Cherry soon with a perfect u/s where you will see gorgeous twins growing strong. It will be here before you know it. Stay strong and confident and beam those babies all your love and peace. What will you do with all the spare time you have now that you aren't obsessively peeing on sticks? Perhaps you could devise a new health care system or figure out how to fund social security with your new found leisure time?

Glad to see the board is still quite active, although I'm sure a lot of the action is going on at the april/may board.

Bliss-Thank God AF came! I so want this to be successful attempt for you, and the more things go your way the less stress for you. So I'm KMFX'd.

Blair-I haven't had any m/s to speak of. A couple of times I've been nauseous after having an aversion to something I ate, but that's really it. Knock on wood. If you have multiples in there all that add'l hormones are going to exacerbate your m/s. Sorry. I too remember being anxious to make those milestones like seeing the heartbeat, etc. I've said it b/f the anxiety doesn't dissipate once you get the BFP. It intensifies.

We-Glad to see things have started to move for you.

AFM-I crossed a big hurtle last week going for my NT scan. It turned out ok, but I still have to wait for the blood test results. Ugh! More waiting, but so far so good. I was told I'd have to start taking Proges again at 6 weeks. Argh!! It's not the same stuff as PIO but it still has to be injected once a week til 36 wks to prevent pre term labor as I had a premie on my last pregnancy. Guess if it helps I can't fight it. Any of you girls getting up early to watch the royal wedding Friday? My girlfriend and me are having a sleepover and watching together. Should be fun.

Hope EO had a great Easter and that you guys are keeping it together whatever you circumstances at the moment. Baby dust for all my peeps. Kisses

Crissylove!!!!!!!! So great to hear from you. Bummer on being back on progesterone...but once a week is not bad. :-)

As far as the wedding- I had to ask DH what the heck you were talking about. When it comes to pop culture...or really any news...I am so out of touch. My life revolves 100% around working and getting preggo. Its actually really sad. :(

We've missed you.

Which reminds me...

Mamaboo...are you out there? Are you okay? Prayers to you. Update us when you can.

Hello ladies. Sorry for not posting in awhile. My life has turned into a Soap Opera. I think my lungs are feeling better. Doing a followup x-ray soon to hopefully confirm. Family has gone crazy - don't even want to talk about the many issues there.

Anyhoo...had u/s today. Baby measuring 9wk3days. It is now a day ahead. Hb is 180. Everything looks great. I am released to regular OB. Also, I have been switched to progesterone suppositories. Yea! No more shots in the behind. I am excited about that. Although, I am only on those for 1 week and then those are done. I will be on blood thinner until I am 27-30 weeks. I'll take those shots over PIO any day. Had a really bad experience when DH hit a nerve giving me PIO shot Saturday. My leg started jerking and I started screaming in pain. No more of that! :P

Good luck to all you lovely ladies.

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I've disappeared. I do read all the posts I just strted the really intense part of my schooling. It's kind of like an internship. Really crazy but awesome.

Going to get our last frosty put back today! He/she is coming home to a very well prepared uterus. Intralipids, steroids and soon to be blood thinners too. We're doing it all this time. If it doesn't work I have plans to move to Quebec to get 3 free rounds!! Hoping I don't have to.

indigo- Woo hoo for finally bringing that embryo home where it belongs. Best of luck today. i hope you are able to take some time and relax afterwards while he/she settles in.

Mamaboo- Congrats on the great US results!!! And I do believe its very exciting that you get to stop the PIO and move to suppositories for the last week. I always felt like DH was hitting a nerve when he did it so I took it over and have been doing them the past year. I do have wierd spots on the tops of my legs where I guess I have nerve damage and I cant feel a thing. They are each about the size of my hand but itll be worth it when I finally bring home a baby. Are you on the lovenox for the blood thinner? And if so did you have to jump through hoops with your insurance to get a full months supply?

bliss- I know what you mean about your like revolving around this stuff. I feel like the past 2 years (and esp the last year and a half) have flown by because Ive been so into all of this. It got to the point that after the MC in Dec DH suggested we take some time off - which I tried to explain was ok for my body but impossible for my brain. He ended up getting his way since my body delayed everything but I still thought about it all the time. When you want something so badly you dont go a day without thinking about it. How are things moving for your cycle??

crissy- I am guessing that maybe theres more than 1 in there causing all these fun symptoms. I felt like Ive had a constant hangover the past few days because Ive been so nauseated. It comes and goes in huge waves and I try to eat what I can while its gone but as soon as I eat it comes right back. Luckily only 1 more week until I finally get to see whats going on in there!!! Did you ever get your blood test back? Sucks that you have weekly injections but its much better than daily- whatever works to bring you a healthy baby. When do you find out what your having??

AFM- Making it through the waves of nausea and crossing days off my calendar so I can finally go to the ultrasound. Im going to try and convince DH to take a personal day so he can go with me but hes supposed to be on overnight call that day so Im not sure if its allowed. Maybe if he tells them whats going on they can find a way to let him come in late or something. If not my friend is going...but I guess I would just rather have DH so he can see how things look and how many babies there are.

Ok. I'm officially PUPO! My one little frosty thawed 100%! My lining is 13mm. Started the fragmin today - not fun that's an ouchy one.

I have it in my head that this is a lost cause. Why I don't know but not feeling very positive. I'll try to get some more pma. I'm just super hormonal today.

Thanks for all of the support.

Indigo, good luck, you're in my prayers.

AFM: Nausea had gotten so bad I call dr. today and ask him to call in meds for me. Dr. prescribed me Zofran. I worry about taking any meds, is it ok to take this? What are possible side effects for baby, if any?

Indigo is PUPO!!!!!!!!!!!!! So happy for you my friend! I have everything crossed and am sending you mad sticky vibes. Stay positive and send lots of love and welcoming energy to your beautiful embie. I have a very good feeling about this for both of us. We were destined to be part of the BFP crowd in this very special group of ladies, we have just been taking our sweet time in getting there.

LYD10, WeHaveHope, Nancy, and Addy are going to join us soon as well.:-) (Sorry if I missed any others that have another attempt coming up soon!)

Mamaboo- glad you are feeling better. You really gave us a scare. I am sure you are still concerned, but at least things seemed to have calmed down for you a bit...at least as far as your health is concerned.

AFM...FET is officially under way! :D :D :D

Everything looked good today with my u/s. So funny- I had my u/s at a university hospital in Lansing Michigan three hours away from home because I was there on business this morning. Next week I will have my u/s in another different town away from home because I will be there on business. My transfer will be in YET ANOTHER town three and a half hours from home. Glad my RE has so many partnerships with other Doctors throughout the state or I would never be able to get this done as much as I travel.

I am getting a kick out of the fact that it feels like every Doctor in Michigan will have seen me naked from the waist down by the time this is all said and done.

Stranger still- my Beta will be in South Carolina when I am there for banking school. You know you are becoming a pro at IVF when you can do it and not miss a beat while traveling all over the U.S. :-)

bliss- How exciting that you are getting started again!!! I laughed so much when I read that every doctor in Michigan will see you naked from the waist down. At first I was hesitant about too many people seeing my junk...then with this cycle I ended up seeing all 3 male doctors in the new office Im at. At first I was nervous but then decided I would do whatever it took to make this one work...even if that meant exposing myself to numerous people. Best of luck with the shots and keep us posted!!

skatie- I am on the exact same page. I had to call the MD on Tuesday because I felt so bad. Monday I could barely stand in front of the mirror to get ready for work. He ended up calling me in Zofran and its been so much better. Mornings are still horrible, especially the period before the zofran kicks in. As for whether its harmful or not its a Pregnancy Category B which means its fine. You can even take Category C if the benefits outweight the costs- so I definitely wouldnt worry about it hurting the baby.

Indigo- Congrats on being PUPO!!!!!!! Glad you got to bring that frosty baby home where he/she belongs. Didnt you say you will be testing on Mothers Day? Stay positive and keep sending that little one good vibes. Try to relax and enjoy being PUPO this wknd!!

AFM- My mornings have been revolving around Zofran. Ive been lucky enough not to throw up but the feeling is constant. Its like a constant hangover with your mouth watering like you could run to the bathroom at any minute. The Zofran does help which is great. I am hoping this recent symptom is a good sign that we have some healthy baby(ies) growing in there. Only a few more days until we finally get to see whats in there. And the great news is DH can actually go with me!! Hope everyone is doing well.

Ok..got some hope now. I have a friend who has another friend going through IVF at the same clinic as me. That's how I found out about the intralipids. Well she has had 3 rounds of IVF, no frosties for the first 2 and some from the third. All BFN's. This round with her last frosties, she did intralipids with fragmin (my protocol) and she just got her BFP!!! Her HCG 14dp3dt was 500!!! I think she transferred 3. Looks like twins probably.

So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these intralipids are exactly what I need too.

Counting down til mother's day.
