Natural Cycle IVF GHOST or anyone

Post by summit »

Does anyone have anything insightful to share about Natural Cycle IVF?

I am in limbo waiting until I can get on my husband's insurance policy... next year... A clinic nearby offers Natural Cycle IVF at 25% the cost of a regular IVF cycle which we may pursue in the meantime.

many thanks,

Low cost, low success rates.

My clinic does not do them.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

I am doing IVF because of a tubal ligation.

I am 25/ DH 29. I have no fertility problems otherwise. In fact, I got pregnant with my youngest using BCP's and condoms while breastfeeding.

My RE still refused to do Natural IVF. He said the success rates were too low and why bother going through all the pain of an egg retrieval / transfer for it not to work. It might cost less, but you might end up having to pay more in the end if it doesn't work. I say wait it out until you can do regular IVF.

I agree with the others. I think it would be better to just go ahead and pay the $$ to do a complete cycle.

My clinic does offer a natural FET and we considered it for a brief moment but honestly, the cost wasn't that much less and since we only have one frostie, we don't want to take any chances.

I did it 4 times...might as well do an IUI, same success rate. The first three tries I ovulated before ER (the third time they actually WATCHED my follicle collapse right after ovulation on an u/s about an hour before ER was scheduled). The last cycle they were able to get my egg, but did not fertilize with ICSI. HUGE waste of money and time. I honestly think my chances were better with IUIs.
IVF 1-2: BFN
IVF 3: BFP! TWINS!
