I have read the question from newbies or people that have constantly had BFN (like me) asking people that have had BFP, what special things did you do? Anything and everything would give me and so many others hope and believe me we will try anything at this point. So even if it seems small or even crazy please contribute! Anything from what vitamins or supplements you took, what movies you watched, how long you stayed in bed, what foods you ate, what books you read. Anything will help and make me at least believe in miracles...lord knows I need one right now!

Slap me upside the head if you want... but my successful cycle I was staying with my best friend, and I drank a glass of wine or beer daily throughout my med cycle, prior to ER. My lining was the best it had ever been, and we finally got a sticky bean.

Basically, I followed my REs instructions and didn't change anything about my lifestyle. I didn't want to upset my body as I already felt healthy. What I did, without realizing it, that probably helped was avoided thinking about the cycle as much as I could. I was really calm and unstressed during treatment because I was, for the most part, going about my regular life without dwelling on my cycle. Biologically, it makes sense to me that pregnancy would be more likely to occur in an unstressed mother than a stressed one so in future cycles, I'll do the same.
With a few exceptions, I believe that most things that people do don't really help, they just give the person a sense that they are doing something. In some cases, messing with your diet and taking supplements might even hurt your chances.
Your RE is an expert in getting women pregnant - before doing anything, I'd check with your doctor and see what she/he says.

I don't believe WE have anything that is within our control that impacts getting pregnant. I believe sometimes you get lucky and you find the right sperm and the right egg and the right embryo and you get pregnant.
I have been through 5 fresh cycles of IVF, 1 frozen cycle of IVF.
On my first cycle of IVF, I ran the entire time, I drank the entire time, the only vitamin I took was a prenatal vitamin, and I continued to drink caffeine. I got pregnant.
On my second, third cycles of IVF, I did not exercise, I did not drink alcohol, I did not drink caffeine. I did NOT get pregnant.
On my fourth cycle of IVF, I did not exercise, I ate full fat cheese, I did not drink alcohol, I drank caffeine, I took a TON of supplements (DHEA, CoQ10, Royal Jelly/Bee Pollen, etc.), I used accupuncture. I did NOT get pregnant.
On my fifth cycle of IVF, I walked for exercise, ate full fat cheese, I drank too much alcohol, I did not drink caffeine, I took a TON of supplements, I used accupuncture. I got pregnant.
There was no rhyme or reason to my success.
My first IVF cycle was when I was 29. My second through fifth cycles of IVF were when I was 32.
