I am so happy this site has been created because I really need people to talk to about IVF. I am currently on the birth control pills and I guess on my 15th day on the pill, I will have to take the Doxycycline and other meds from then on. The doctor told me it should all be done by June and I should find out if it was a success mid June.
I just want to know has anyone felt nausea while taking birth control pills? This is the first time for me and I have been feeling nauseous since. Any tips or suggestions would be fantastic!!
Yes, I most definitely felt nauseous taking the pill...like you, I hadn't taken it before. The only thing that I did was to take it in the evenings, like an hour or two before bed. That seemed to help things a little bit. Also, not letting my stomach get completely empty helped a little bit too!
I am also on my 1st try of IVF. I have been taking my injections for approx. a week now. We go for our first scan tomorrow to see how things are progressing!
hi ladies! I too am on my first cycle (only on day 2 of birth control!) I always feel nauseated on birth control, but taking it at night definitely helped! Feel free to join us on the IVF board there is a group "April/May cycle buddies" or "Summer 2011" there are some really great women there who have been such a great inspiration to me and have given me plenty of support and information! 1st IVF- 5/4/11- start BCP for 4 weeks then injections!
Thank you both so much!! I thought it was just me, I will definitely be taking them at night from now on. It's my 8th day on the pill and then after the pill I'll start Doxycline and then Follistm injectibles (which always makes me feel exhausted). I will check out the April/May cycle buddies. I am going in for a Trial Transfer next Friday.
