Lou I can't believe you are already almost 17 weeks. Wow that went by fast. hope you went through the first trimester with little morning sickness.
Rypell read you are on bed rest. I feel for you. I went on it at 7months with my first baby and I hated it. I went into pre-term labor and I was not a very good bed rest patient and when I didn't rest I would go into labor and they threatened to keep me in the hospital if I didn't take it seriously. So MIL had me come stay with her so she could keep an eye on me;)

lol Rypell. That is very sweet of her to come though to take care of you. So thoughtful. Good luck with the bedrest, I can't tell you it will be easy. Get some good books if you like to read. Ones that you can't put down they are so good.

Kat - that's a fantastic second number! Hopefully a nice strong baby (or two) growing in there! My first beta was at 16dpo and was 200 - exactly average for a singleton and I'm having twins. Beta numbers can be all over the place -- but higher is always better!
I'm so so so so so happy for you!

Leora-Thank you. I'm still nervous as the doubling time was every 23 hours and it seems so high for 16dpo. But I heard they can shoot up in the early days and hopefully will level out. It's also a sign of twins so always a chance the egg split. I just want a nice healthy baby and nice and easy 9 months. Not much to ask for is it?? My nauseau is definitely in high gear though.
How are you and the babies feeling? I'm so excited and happy for you as well. It's been a long road.

Kat - I won't be comfortable until these babies are home safely with me. Of course, the first trimester is a big hurdle that's nice to cross, and I'll feel much better once I get past 'viability' around 26 weeks... but I really just want them home with me NOW! Oh well -- I still have to wait!
I'm still super sick -but I'm getting awfully skinny

Thanks SDTrying. I love hearing one embryo success stories. I'm still a nervous wreck and it still doesn't feel real (well except when the nauseau gets me;) I just want my ultrasound to confirm heartbeat etc just so I can relax a little and start enjoying this pregnancy. One more week to get through. Work has been crazy busy so thankfully keeping my mind off things a little.
Looks like you are into your second trimester. Will you be finding out sex of the baby?

Though bad news is after being off my thyroid medication for a year and a half the pregnancy has elevated it which they say is normal. So it's back on the meds. Actually should have been on it last week but the dimwhit nurse never told me or called in any meds. Nurse called today wanting me to increase it and I'm like I'm not on any so how can I increase it. Waiting to hear back on what dose I shoudl really be taking.
