Egg donation in Mexico

Hello everyone!

I wonder if anyone has had any experience with egg donor IVF in Mexico.

My husband and I are both quite pale (European descent) and two clinics in Guadalajara and one in Mexico City, all of which use frozen eggs, have been unable to find us a suitable donor.

One clinic in Guadalajara that uses fresh donor cycles, however, assures us that they have plenty of suitable donors on their books. But I am a little worried as the other three clinics could not find a donor. This clinic does not allow us to see pictures/profile of the donor and the doctor chooses for us.

Has anyone in a similar situation had any experience with egg donor IVF in Mexico?

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

We have been to Guadalajara twice trying to conceive with donor eggs. Yes it's true that there are no pictures. However, once we did receive a baby picture of our selected donor. I'm a European background myself, I have white skin and brown hair. There has always been a few (4-5) donors for to choose from each time (with my blook type, brown/dark hair with white skin and green eyes [haven't come across blue eyes yet]). Don't know about pale skin.

Have you been to Guadalajara? Many of it's people look very European. I advise a trip out there if you a concerned.

Thank you so much for replying to my post. I haven't been out to Guadalajara but would really like to go there for my treatment as the doctor and the clinic which uses fresh donor cycles (Institute Vida) have been really great.

May I ask which clinic you are being treated at?
