New 1st and hopefully only cycle!
Hello, My name is Gwen. I live in Saint Augustine, FL and am currently on day two of my stimulation phase. I'm 30 years old and have perfect reproductive health. The problem was on my husband's side, he has bladder exstrophy and the sperm is blocked by scar tissue. We have some frozen from a previous clinic that will be used and if it's no good, he will be on standby. They will also be doing ICSI. So far I haven't had any problems except last night during my first shot (at night that is). It burned and hurt pretty bad (normally my husband is really good at giving the shots so I don't blame him). Is there anything I can do to make it better. I read about possibly icing my stomach.

Slow is key but it still burns. I'm sorry. I heard room temp too.

Hi Gwen!
I am also new to this. And this is my 1st IVF. I also heard that icing the area before helps a lot. I have not started any shots yet. I am going to start BCP and then the shots. I wish you much luck!
