Ryann- I don’t see how you went to bed every night at 4:30- that’s crazy early. I have managed to take naps after work and then go to bed by 9:30…but Im up again at 5:15a. Its exhausting and I think even more so because I feel sick the entire day. Its even gotten to the point that the Zofran doesn’t help as much.

Leora- Even though Ive tried explaining to DH why I lay around the house all the time its like he thinks Im making this up. I have to remind him that growing 3 of his children requires lots of energy. Glad to hear your OB apt went great and that your doctor is being supportive of the preventative actions you wanted to take. Also sounds like your boys are healthy and doing great.

Klinger- Stinks that you cant have the plantains you enjoyed. Im sure you will have a very long list of “after baby arrives” but luckily you are getting closer and closer to the end. You have such a cute little baby bump!!

Kjm- I would recommend adding docusate to your daily pill regimen to make sure you don’t have any constipation issues. Hopefully the iron wont be too hard on you.

Baby_blu- I had asked at the office is spotting was “normal”…they said spotting is never “normal” so much that it is common with multiples. Either way it was very light spotting and only lasted a few hours so I guess I played it safe. Even though Im on no sex or exercise Im hoping at some point I can go back to normal activities. Don’t forget to post pics as soon as you start getting the nursery together. Which double stroller did you go with?

Lou- How exciting!!!!! Congrats on finding out that you are carrying a baby girl. Any names picked out yet? So glad she is doing great and things are going well.

Karin- OMG x 3 is right. We had a feeling it may be twins but when that 3rd little one showed up on the screen it was a little scary. I think we have come to terms with it now but are just excited to reach the next milestone.

Fun- Is your friend carrying mixed triplets or all fraternal? My next appointment is on Wednesday- so I cant wait to see how they are doing and make sure they are all healthy and growing the way they should. July 8 seems like forever away- why are they making you wait so long?

Vicky- The RE I saw on Monday said that it just depends on the preference of the high risk specialist I see on how often they see me. She was guessing I would have appts about every 2 weeks though- which is perfectly fine with me. I told her the more hand holding the better I will probably feel. I know exactly how you feel about your clothes being snug. Even though I can still wear all the same clothes I got some of the belly bands so I could wear my pants without buttoning them- much more comfortable!! I have avoiding buying anything too- I ordered a book on carrying multiples, and we did buy a frame that says multiple blessings for when we tell DH mom, but other than that no baby stuff.

Annashope- Even though Im still beyond nervous about 3 we are starting to come to terms and accept that a lot of things will be changing. I know I will be quitting my job and switching over to a SAHM because the daycare costs would be close to $2400 a month….plus the gas to get there which is currently $4.15 where we live.

Mellow- So glad to hear baby Marlo is doing well. Im sure all of the pumping and visits to the NICU are beyond exhausting so sending you whatever extra energy I can muster up. Hoping the valve is closed and she can start using the breastmilk you’ve been working so hard at. Wishing you and your family all the best.

AFM- the nausea is getting to the point that even the Zofran isn’t really cutting it. I had a really bad day yesterday, and after 3 hours at work I came back home to lay in bed for 3 hours. I threw up twice before 7am and felt miserable until I fell asleep last night. Im hoping all this m/s means that all the babies are doing well…but geeze this m/s is anything but fun.

CONGRATS ON THE BABY GIRL LOU!!! I can't remember... Was the Chinese predictor right???

Karin - How long have you been on bed rest? Good times shopping for the boys, isn't it? It's become my very favorite thing! Sorry to hear that you won't be having an official shower :( That's a bummer. Maybe you can have DH pick up some super cute cupcakes and a few balloons to celebrate just the two of you.

Vicky - Have you looked into belly bands? They're like a big tube top that holds your unbuttoned pants in place. They look just like a cami if it peeks out from under your top. Yay for the right bra size! Makes all the difference in the world.

Anna - I think I was running on pure adrenaline for those couple of days. No lifting at all for me. LOTS of stress and chaos though. You definitely need to post the 3D pics of baby Paul when you get those done!

Mellow - You and sweet Marlo are in my thoughts and prayers every day. I can't even image the stress and heartache that comes along with this emotion roller coaster ride. Just know that we are all sending tons of prayers and positivity your way.

Amanda - Just curious... What would your top 3 must haves be after little Maribel arrives? This close to the end you must be dying for some things!

Karen (V.I.) - Glad to hear your pregnancy moving along smoothly! :D

Blair - Sorry to hear about the m/s kicking the Zofran's butt. I had to giggle at your comment about you thinking your DH is feeling like you're making up the misery. Mine's the same way! Sometimes I feel guilty when I can't contribute to as much of the household chores or that I've been unable to work for the last 6 weeks... but then I remember his ONLY contribution to this entire process was "having fun" into a cup waaaaaaaaay back in October! Then that twinge of guilt goes right out the window!

We went with the City Mini Double by Baby Jogger in orange and gray. I hope it lives up to all the great reviews!

afm - Lots of BHs since yesterday afternoon. Nothing to set a watch by, but enough that I'm feeling too uncomfortable to be productive. :( I knew this was coming... I've had too many "good" days in a row. I guess some down time isn't so bad...

Hope everyone has a wonderful afternoon!!!

Blair: I am sorry to hear about the MS... It is the pits. Have you tried popsicles? I had horrid MS and popsicles really helped.

Mellow: I've been following your blog. Marlo is absolutely beautiful. Your strength is amazing... You've been through so much and you just keep going.

Karin: Congrats on a passing glucose test!

Lou: Congrats on a little girl!

Stephanie: Nesting is fun isn't it? I'm in the nesting phase too... Unfortunately, for every project that I do, my hubby ends up with two related projects.

Klinger: Fantastic bump! It is surreal that pregnancy is almost over, is it?

Leora: It is fantastic to hear that your OB is stepping things up.

I am amazed at how fast everyone's pregnancies seem to be going. While we are pregnant for almost a year, seeing everyone's tickers moving so fast makes me realize how soon we'll all be holding our babies. Time flies...

AFM: I'm cruising right along, ridiculously healthy. I have a lot of false labor contractions but they don't worry me as I know what they are. Usually, I get BH when I over-do it so I'm learning to pace myself. I get silly sometimes and forget to get adequate rest. The nursery is almost finished... All the pink little girl stuff makes me tear up when I look at it and think too much. I'll post pics when we're done decorating.

Something to think about that came up this week: In my kitchen (of all places), I stepped on and was stung by a bee. We panicked because I've never been stung and my husband has a bee allergy. I immediately chewed up a Benedryl tablet while hubby got on-line to see if he could find information about if the baby could be impacted if she has his allergy. The stress gave me BH and I was really concerned. Fortunately, I did not have an allergic reaction and all information said that she would not be impacted. Brooke is moving around like normal so all is well. If you or your hubby has a bee allergy, it is probably a good idea to discuss it with your doctor now before you end up freaking out like we did.

Thank you so much for the congrats on Team Pink!

Rio -- Wow... amazing pics of your beautiful girl. Congrats! Happy to hear the off-set cord shouldn't be a big issue. Thanks for the reassurance.

Vicky -- We haven't agreed on too many girls names yet. We both like Peyton/Payton but can't agree on a spelling. I also really like Chloe but haven't sold DH on it yet.

Lyd-- Thanks for the info on the cord with your son. I'm really trying hard not to worry. I know these things usually work out fine.

Ryann -- Adorable belly pic!

Mellow -- Thanks so much for your updates. I say prayers for little Marlo all the time and think of you often. I'm so glad she's stable. I have a very good feeling she is going to be amazing.

Karenvancouver -- So glad you're doing well!!! Do you know the sex of your baby yet?

Karin-- Glad your babies are doing well. A cervix of 3.5cm sounds pretty good. I think you'll be able to hold those boys in for a while longer.

Blair -- So sorry about your horrible nausea. Ugh! I hope it gets better soon. We don't really have a girls name yet. See my post to Vicky above for the explanation.

nwquiz -- C'mon now... you've got your BFP right? Join us here!!!! Thanks for checking up on me. And yes, the acupuncturist really knew what she was talking about!!! Crazy cool, eh?

baby_blu -- Yes! The Chinese predictor was RIGHT for me! Sorry you are uncomfortable, but you're in the home stretch now and will be meeting your boys soon! You must be sooo excited.

Bunny -- Glad you are doing well. That's really interesting about the bee sting. The Benadryl would help the swelling regardless if you were allergic or not.

AFM -- I'm leaving on vacation tomorrow morning... so excited to go somewhere and have time off. Work has been sooo busy. We'll be in D.C. for a few days and then heading up to Montreal/Quebec City for a week. When in Canada, I will miss you guys because I won't have internet on my phone (too expensive!). We are overjoyed that we are having a little girl and are praying she continues to grow healthy. Thank you all for your kind words!

Hi everyone!

Mellow - thanks for having the energy to let us know how you and Marlo are doing! She sounds like an amazing little girl, real fighter! It is amazing that you and your family have endured so much and still you sound so strong and manage to think about all of us right now.I pray for you all.

Lou - Congrats on your little girl!!! You're gonna have fun picking clothes and a name! I love both Peyton (or Payton) and Chloe. I wrote about 10 days ago that during the NT OB said we were probably having a boy...so the Chinese predictor was wrong for me, whenever you put back the list! We still don't have a name. Also, even though I kind of felt I was having a boy, I am somewhat surprised now. I just think picking up pink clothes is soooo much fun! :D

Blair - I had no M/S so I feel a bit guilty even writing to you - with TRIPLETS!!! But this must be so exciting for both you and your husband and you know, for my DH it took quite a while during the process of treatments to realize just what my body was putting up with. And I was feeling indeed as if I was almost exaggerating describing to him OHSS just because I felt otherwise I may seem really lazy etc. At least now it seems my relatively simple (so far, and several scares excluded!!!) pregnancy is bringing that much joy into our lives that even with such a yet short duration it has managed to cause us both to nearly not think or talk about our feelings and pain from before.

Leora - I loooooved your video. Can't wait to see more:)

Blessings to all,

Sorry for not checking in, ladies.... I've been lurking but so busy with life that doing the personals has become too difficult because I'm always scared to leave someone out.

I have to say that I'm so happy for everyone, though.. Leora so happy that things are right on track for you and yay for Lou and her little baby girl... :)

Mellow I have been following you closely and appreciate you taking the time to update us. My heart goes out to you and I am praying hard for your daughter - what a little trooper she already is. I've lost the link to your blog, can you post it again?

AFM .... forced to slow down and take it easy. Lots on my plate right now but I'm taking it a day at a time. Big hugs to all!

A good day, and a sigh of relief. NO bleeding in her brain, the head ultrasound was negative. They will repeat the test on Monday just to be sure. That is a pretty big deal. Another big deal....I GOT TO HOLD HER!!!! Oh my goodness, my heart overflowed. They didn't get the results of the heart echo today, but I am assuming it must be okay, because they did start giving her some breastmilk. What a big day for my sweet little one. Still a very, very long road, but today was good. She is a week old now. 11 to go, to our projected bringing baby home date. Oh, I hope so.

Sonya, here is the link to my blog. http://www.adventuresinmellowland.blogspot.com

There is a video of her up that we posted this morning. She is precious beyond belief.

Mellow - I LOVE the video of Marlo. She is soooo adorable!! I'm glad that the head u/s came back with good results and hopefully the echo will follow suit. And YAY for getting to hold her. Still sending lots of prayers your way.

Stephanie - It's funny you ask because I've been thinking of the treats I want DH to bring me when I'm in the hospital. (The hospital where I'm delivering is the hospital where I had my TAC surgery in January so I know from experience that their food is pretty crappy.) So far I have a red velvet cupcake and an ice cream sundae on my list. An italian sub from Primo Hoagie would also be really nice! So I think at this point, those are my top 3.

Lou - Have an awesome babymoon with DH!!

Barbara - I agree that it's amazing to see everyone's tickers move so quickly! It feels like we all just joined this thread yesterday and yet so many are close to or have passed the halfway point. And some of us are nearing the end. Definitely surreal!!

Blair - Sorry about the m/s! I feel so bad for you ladies that have m/s - it sounds so terrible.

For those nearing the end (Sonya, Stephanie, Barbara) - do you find your BH are more frequent at certain times of the day? I agree that after activity I get some (like once I finish walking my dog) but I also get quite a few in the evenings just sitting around. Last night I probably had the most I've had so far. I had 4 in one hour but they were all over the place timing-wise and then they just continued for the rest of the evening, a few every hour. Are yours like that as well where you get more than usual at certain times of day?

Klinger: I usually get the most BH the day after a big exertion. For example, my silly butt went to the air show - the next day was all contractions. On normal days, I have very few in the morning and afternoon but a lot more in the early evening and before bed. I attribute the increase due to the sum of the day's activities catching up with me.

I've definitely had more than 4/hour - which I know is the threshold to phone the doctor but I haven't felt worried or pushed by them so I haven't called.

A mistake that I've made and am struggling to learn from with the BH is that I need to rest BEFORE I get contracty instead of waiting to contract to rest. During the day when I'm not contracting is when the rest helps the most. I literally watch the clock to see how long I've been active then force myself to sit an equal amount of time - this really helps.
