I was on 10 units of Lupron every night as of 3.22. On 4.4, I lowered it to 5 units & also started 150 units of Follistim. I continued that through 4.12. On the night of 4.13, I triggered w/ Ovidrel. They were able to get 14 mature eggs, of which 10 fertilized. 5 embryos made it to a day 5 ET, so we transferred the 3 that looked the best. They were at the morula (compacted morula) stage, which is a little behind of where they should be (should be blasts at day 5), but it could've been just a matter of hours & they would've become blasts. The other 2 didn't make it the next day, so they couldn't be frozen. I'm being very optimistic that the fact that the other 2 didn't make it is not any indication of the 3 that were transferred. I'm trying to maintain my PMA...I have to for my babies
i also live in ct & i went 2 yale first & had a bad experience they told me i would never have a child with my husband & i ended having a healthy baby boy 7-22-09 i ended up going to Uconn & i loved there bed side manner the doctors & nurse were great & helped us out alot.....at Yale i did 6 iui & one ivf & uconn i did 2 ivf the 2nd one i become pregnant now i am back again & did a frozen cycle with uconn & i am around 6 weeks pregnant.....so it all depends on how u feel with them i know people who have gone to yale & swear by them & i know people that have gone to uconn & cant stand them so good luck to u send u good vibes
Thanks Gina! I have a consult with Uconn 5/13. I will see what they say and make a decision over that weekend if I should stay with my re or transfer to uconn. Were the protocols much different between Yale and uconn? I love where I am at just no success.

My 1st 3 protocols at UConn were different...an antagonist protocol w/ Follistim & Ganirelix. My 4th protocol at UConn was the same as the 1 I did just recently at Yale w/ the Lupron & Follistim. By the way, we got a BFN I have a WTF appoointment this Thursday. Let me know how your appointment w/ UConn on 5.13 goes. If you don't mind telling me, who is the RE you'll be meeting w/? Good luck!

I met with dr nulson and his nurse Debbie. They were nice. How funny is that! I am trying to get sperm transfered and everything situated...it's weird... Changing clinics seems that it will cost me out of pocket less with uconn. I have not changed ins....thanks for the support!
