zero fertilization-ghost

Post by Heidi67 »

Hello, we're at the end of the TWW for our 4th IVF . My question is about our 1st IVF . We had 33/35 mature eggs and none of them fertilized. So othey did emergency ICSI on 13 and we had 3 transfered, All our tests have come back great. So on our following cycles they used ICSI and we had decent embryos but so far no BFP. What are the causes for zero fertilization? Our clinic hasn't given us any answers, just wondering if anyone had any ideas?

The short answer is the obvious, sperm or eggs. I assume you had sperm evaluated?
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

Heidi,
your story sounds familiar to me. I had fewer eggs and the egg mature rates were much lower. We have been doing ICSI since our second run even though my DH's sperms were perfect. We had some embryos transferred but none stuck.

After the 3rd run, they scanned my uterus with MRI. According to the doctor, if the interface between endometria and muscle is not smooth,it is hard for implantation. The result came back great. I am now in my 4th run with a agonist protocol, hoping to improve the number of mature eggs.

I like to follow your story and see how the others comment on it.
