After 8 years of fertility treatment, I am coming to the end of the road. I have 1 frozen blast left from my most recent ivf cycle in April (got a BFN after transferring 2 blasts) and I hope to do an FET in October or November.
Thank God I have a dd from ivf in 2006 and I feel so blessed. In summary I have had 3 ivfs resulting in mcs at around 7-9 weeks, my most recent ivf with bfn and 3 FETS – all BFN.
Does anyone know if anything can be done to improve the success of FET cycle?
Ghost - what are the chances ofmy blast surviving the thaw?
What protocol and drugs works best? My protocols have been bcp + bueserlin to down regulate, then crinone gel X2 daily, 6mg estrofem and am on aspirin, clexane, steroids + last time I tried intralipds + metformin (I have moderate pcos).
My doctors are talking about doing an endometrial biopsy before the FET to improve the uterus lining? Anyone heard of that?
Are there a questions that i should be asking the doctors at my review meeting?
I am just desperate to try everything to make this work.

Thanks in advance for your advice.
We tend to prefer PIO over Crinone, especially at the start.
The biopsy is reported to improve implantation rates. Not sure why. Needs more evidence.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.
Don't have any great advice for you but I just wanted to say that we have a similar story to yours. We suffered from 3 miscarriages and went through 6 total cycles (4 fresh -- 2 frozen) before having our little miracle; it can happen for you!! If you would like to hear our complete story visit http://ivfsuccessstories.info/my-infertility-journey/
Just when we wanted to give up, we had him! Good luck with your FET!!!
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!
Belated thanks for your reply - much appreciated. I have to arrange my follow up consulation and will ask my doctor about the endometrial biospy - think it will be worth a try.
My doctor did an endometrial biopsy for me in the cycle before my fresh IVF (if I recall correctly, day 20 or so of my previous cycle, with my period being day 28 and starting stims on day 3 of my period). Granted, this wasn't my first BFP, but I did get a BFP. I'm not sure it helped - but sometimes you just have to do everything possible to make yourself feel like you got the best chance.
I'm now 16 weeks pregnant with twins!
