Thanks for all of the info. My RE said as of Thursday that the Lupron had been depleted here so they are ordering from IVFmeds.com from England. But, get this!
I am President of the Endometriosis Research Center of Greater Seattle and had mentioned this on our Facebook page. One of my friends walked in to our meeting Thursday evening and handed me a box of Lupron! How amazing is that? They ordered extra because of the never ending shortage. So now I am back on schedule and starting Lupron tomorrow morning (Sunday 22nd).

RMB-I've had a lot of friends use accupunture before and after transfer. Some were successful and some weren't. I'm going to start it soon along with Maya abdominal massage. I love the massage! It's great especially if you had endo or pelvic adhesions. It's also good for overall pelvic and digestive health. It is a specialty so not all massage therapists do it.

Hey ladies! We are looking to do an FET in August. Our little miracle from our first ivf turned one on March 30, and we have two frozen embies left from that. I too am a teacher.

Dogzrule Welcome! (I love your pen name by the way, is there a story behind it?) I was just looking at a cute mix-lab breed that "Paws and Claws" featured on facebook and I had to get dh to come and check it out! lol we already have two rescue mix labs but "Pepper" is way too cute and she is house-broken so I'm sharing her with everyone that I can in hopes of finding her a good home. Anyway sorry for my rambling, I am excited that you are joining us, there are quite a few teachers on here!

Blueeyedreamer, What an amazing story! I'm glad we have friends from all over to help us when we need them most of all! You are truly blessed and cetainly on your way to a BFP!

AfM: Struggling this Sunday...AF officially came, I'm now at the point of spending whatever it takes to get us pregnant since my patience is wearing very thin. August will mark our 12th anniversary and I'm thinking my window of opportunity is closing soon. You ladies have certainly made this long journey worthwhile and I don't know what I would do without you! Contacting my clinic tomorrow to set up our next plan, certainly needing to be a little more aggressive with the meds this cycle.

Subshine - My pen name is just because I loooove doggies. My two dogs were my only babies until I had my DD. Zoe is a black lab mix and Marley is an Aussie Shepherd/Samoyed huskie mix. I love them. Poor babies, they don't get all the love and attention that they used to though! I'm sorry you are so down but glad that you are so determined! We were married 11 years before we got pregnant.

Hey Ladies!

I am in the US I dont use Lupron so I am NOT sure of a shortage. I will ask my RE nurse. This board is filling up and its getting to be exciting!! I am waiting on AF should be by wednesday and I start my BCP and hope my cycle takes off I am busy working but I wanted to drop by and say hello to you all!

RMB, Yay today is your last day of work, now it's babytime! Oh my, I remember having those bruises too all over my lower belly. Always remember to use rotation where the shot is given left, middle and right side and make sure the skin is being pinched up. Also icing down the injection site before AND after will num the area making it pain-free and help prevent swelling. I personally liked the Folistim shots because the needle was so tiny, but I'm too chicken to give myself a shot. So those of you out there who are giving yourselves shots, I commend you on that!

Absolutely Lauren! I'm getting so hooked to our list already, yay we have 16 ladies cycling with us so far and probably get to add a few more I'm a "list mistress newbie", so any feedback or updates I do miss please ladies let me know.

AFM: Clinic called me back, starting bcp tonight! She went on and said I would need 375 units of Follistim and I jumped in to ask if we could be a little more aggressive and try to create more than 2 follicles. I'm thinking for this IUI, maybe 4 follies. So she's calling my RE to see, and tomorrow I'll get a call back. Also spoke with dh and he has asked me if we want to try another IUI this summer and I told him if this one doesn't take let's move on to the IVF Attain Program. So anyway that's my story and I'm sticking with it! Have a great afternoon everyone!
