Hello everyone! This board is really moving. I am jumping to this board from the April/May cycle board. I just went through my 2nd IVF cycle, and got a BFP. Unfortunately I miscarried last week (at 6 weeks). Right now I'm waiting for my beta to go to 0. Today it was down to 106 (from 1011 last week), so it's making its way down. The plan right now is to do an FET this summer. We have 3 frozen blasts, and we are planning to transfer 2 of them. I won't know any dates until a real AF comes, so I guess I'll just be on the "planning for FET this summer" list. I would love to follow along with you all. Sunshine- thanks for keeping up with this board. I loved your PMA on the April/May board, and I'm looking forward to cycling with you again (although I wish both of us had been able to move to Pregnant After Treatment...)

Wishingandhoping,
It's heartbreaking I know, there is nothing we want more than a healthy pregnancy. Did you read the story that brit1612 posted on here last week about "infertility through the husband's eyes", it was pretty inspirational and made me believe that miracles do happen. We just have to stay strong and determined, moving forward is the best thing we can do! I am so glad you have 3 frosties to work with, this will make the next cycle much easier with less meds involved and hopefully less stressful.
Anyway more than anything I wanted to welcome you to our board tonight, and know we are going to make some summer magic happen, because this is it, it's OUR time!

Wndrgirl! Small world! I'm seeing Dr. Marshall at Pacific Northwest Fertility.
So far so good with the Lupron. It's my first time ever on it. Of course, I may shoot my husband if he doesn't straighten up soon. The meds are going to help that along!
Wishingandhoping, I'm so sorry! I wish you the best for your next round.
Welcome dogzrule! My furbaby Bella occupies my time! Cinnimon1, I think you are right! Working with kids sure can either be good birth control or affect fertility!

Blueeyed that is our doctor! Isn't she awesome? They have all been so very helpful to me & my husband. They explain things a hundred times until we are are comfortable.
Cinnymon1 – Wow, that is so exciting that you moved your FET date up. We just may be on our 2ww together. Wishing you tons of luck!
Wishingandhoping – So sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I can’t imagine how you feel. Keep your hopes up high. The third time will be your charm
Alleykittie - Gald to hear everything is looking good! I am still injecting Lupron every morning. My orders are to do so for 10 days, which will be this Friday the 27th, and that day I have my baseline app. If all goes well at the app. I will begin Folistim that evening. But so far so good, I had a vision/spotty blindness issue on day two, but I had a snack it went right away. And other than that no symptoms at all. Now I am just wondering if I will get AF.

You guys all sound like things are moving along perfectly!
I had my acupuncture appointment today. It went well. Just wish I would have started earlier. I have always thought about it but never really acted on it until a friend of my husbands, wife, recommended someone to us. He was real good. Gave me a diet to follow. That should be interesting. Told me to keep my feet warm for better circulation. I am only going to be able to see him about 3 times before the retrieval. They recommend more than that, but worth the shot!! I have RE appt tom and we will see how many follicles I have. I am excited and nervous. I think this time around I am more relaxed though. But if it doesn't work out for us this time, I am going to be changing doctors. Over time I have become less confident in him. But I am staying positive for now (especially being so close to ET date) and hope everything works out for us!
Our IVF coordinator just called me. She is putting in the order for all the meds today and the pharmacy should give me a call tomorrow about 2 to confirm them. We have our suppression check June 3. It seems so very far away.
Wndrgrl, I know it seems so far away, I feel the same way sometimes...but then I look at the calender and realize that's next week! Cannot wait to get things cooking... or can I say bun in the oven?

Same to u Madame X - we can calm each other down during the dreaded 2ww LOL
Sunshine - That's what I keep telling myself "June is next week." I feel like we are going in the right direction because meds are being ordered and such. We are making forward progress.
Freedom Pharmacy is awesome. Our IVF coordinator faxed them the prescription yesterday afternoon at like 4:30. They called last night at 5:45 to confirm. I just love their customer service.
Wndrgirl, I know what you mean about customer service, it means everything in the world! I go through Ascend Pharmacy, always good to work with. They reminded me that Follistim comes in 300 or 600 iu but after taking my inventory, only needed 450 and didn't want to waste any. She said I could order 150iu but it would be in the powder. (Will need to remember to ask how much water to mix with that.) My RE specialist asst told me we may have alot of follicles with this, but prob. not be able to use all of them since we are not doing IVF. She said they like to shoot for 2-3 follicles, and will probably solely use the ultrasound (instead of ovulation) to determine the day we go in for IUI. But someone out there please tell me wouldn't our chances for success actually increase if we could use more follicles. I'm thinking my condition might be related to the chromosome make-up or maybe the quality of my eggs, but they haven't been tested. All I have been told is the quality of eggs can vary from month to month so I'm thinking why not use more?

Meds were a little more expensive then I thought. I have $213 in co-pays and than an additional $1950 to pay OOP for Gonal F because insurance only paid for 3 of the injections and I need a total of 8. I know that is still way less than those that have to pay all OOP for. I was just thinking it would be a little less based on the price estimates I received a couple of weeks ago. Hubby was none to pleased when I called and told him the OOP amount. It's so frustrating how expensive infertility treatments are.
This summer board is moving along GREAT! I got my AF yesterday & called the nurse today. She called and said for me to come in June 13th for my baseline us and bloodwork. I guess from there they will determine if I need to go on BCPs until July or not. Atleast I got that to look forward too. I hope they find a donor for us to use too. I am so wanting to do the duel cycle, but with the tornado that went through here last month I am sure some people that were going to do IVF back out. So many lost their homes and love ones. One tornado hit a sub division about 10 mins from our house along with our pharmacy and grocery store( Piggly Wiggly). Anyways, there is always so much on mind lately. I am just rambling now. Hope everyone is doing well and will get to personals soon.
Wndergrl-too funny! We could end up at the office together and not even know it. My suppression check is to be June 2. We are just a day apart.
I agree about Freedom Pharmacy. They are great. I confirmed my order this afternoon and it will arrive tomorrow. We have insurance that will reimburse for the cost so I had to front it all. It was $3124. That is not counting the Lupron because I didn't have to buy it. My husband's insurance is the one with benefits so it is a secondary provider. We are totally blessed to have any coverage so I won't complain. He does work his ass off for it.
RMB-I'm jealous you have done the accupunture. I'm going to try to get in for that asap. I have a provider in the area that does accupunture and abdominal massage.
It's late and my brain is fried. I'm doing ok on the lupron but I have a headache and I think it is flaring my MS symptoms. I think I was to have a different drug than the lupron because of the MS but that didn't end up happening. My neuro had sent some info over to the dr and so did I. I didn't know the names of the drugs, just that the agonist is worse than the antagonist. Turns out lupron is an agonist. Ugh. Oh well, as long as I don't wake up tomorrow not able to walk then I will be ok.
Have a good night and best of luck to all of us!
