Hi
been thinking of you all and wondered how you were doing. Know we are all due about the same time so not long to go now.
I am 34 + 4 and go in for a membrane sweep (which I have been told is not very nice) at 36 weeks to see if that will start me off naturally. If not we will discuss c-section or induction. I think I will go for induction or if I feel okay then just hang on and see if it starts itself. Don't really want to opt for c-section unless I have to, unfortunately I have now got piles!!!!! first time in my life and not nice. Hope that won't dictate delivery.
Hope you are all keeping well and that everything is going okay.
How are you? I have been thinking about you also. I am 35wks today and my feet are starting to swell pretty bad. Beginning to feel a bit more uncomfortable, but I know it will soon be worth every moment!! How are you feeling????
My doctor has scheduled me for a c-section for June 30th (if I do not go on my own before then).. Any suggestions anyone??? Not what I would have chosen, but both babies are still breech at this time..
Hope your feeling well -- Phil and Vicki also let us know how your doing.
Hi Annette
good to hear from you. I am fine it is very hot over her at the moment (most unusual for the North East of England) just hope it stays this way after they are born so I can get out and about for some nice walks with the pram.
Does that make your c-section pencilled in for 37 weeks? If they are both still breech that is probably the best thing to do.
Twin 1 is head down and twin 2 is transverse, I have been advised to try and deliver them as twin 2 could follow twin 1 or could be delivered breech as the first one is already out. Still no idea what we are having - do you know? picking names is a nightmare, the ones I like dh isn't keen on and vice-versa.
Hope Phil and Vicki are okay, lovely to hear from you - keep in touch and let me know any developments.
My scheduled c-section would be at 37wks + 4 days.. I just hope I go before then on my own!
We do know that we are having a little boy and little girl!! I could never wait to find out. I am to much of a planner and way to impatient! Isn't that awful.. But it would have drove me mad!! After going through invitro and the worrying with that I felt I didn't need anything else to make me crazy...
Please let keep us posted also about your progress and as soon as you have them. I can't wait to find out what those little miracles are!
it's great to hear from you both. i've not been around for a few weeks as life has been mental (good but mental) so i'm just catching up with everyones news.
ohhhhh we are all so close to the date. anyone scared? i can't really imagine what it will be like. it's been just david and me for the last 15 years, and friends of course. soon there'll be three, or four in your cases!
lisa and annette you must be within days of each other, all around the end of june. it's our wedding anniversary and dave's birthday on 27/28th so big celebrations all round! i'm booked in for a c-section on july 14th, i'll be 38.5 weeks. we don't know what sex the baby is, but think it's a boy. lisa a boy and girl, that is so great.
lisa, annette best of luck with getting labour started. neither of you sound like your up for a c section! i hear that sex can bring you on (well annette you did ask for suggestions!!). would be a huge coincidence if we all had csections though wouldn't it?
lisa i haven't had the pleasure of piles but i hear they are really awful. you poor thing. i am suffering with swelling though. annette it's like having someone elses feet isn't it... but at times there's swelling on my feet, legs and pubic area. painful doesn't describe the pubic bit. sorry bit explicit.
life is on the mental side because we are having our house done. last year there was movement in the house due to the extreme weather and the soil conditions in the london/home counties region. lisa no jokes about us woosy southerners pls....only joking. so for a year we had to have the house monitored. every room had surface cracking but nothing more serious. when i found out i was pregnant i tried to speed up the process and guess what? only managed to pulled it forward by about two weeks, which happens to be two weeks before the baby arrives.
so the house is being repaired and done up. sounds ok but it less than two years since it was first renovated and now my life is taken over by builders again.
i hope vicki is doing well and that we hear from her soon.
Phil it all sounds a bit of a nightmare, hope everything is completed and your home back to normal before the 14 July. My hospital now seem quite content to leave me to start on my own if everything is okay, my actual due date is the 21 July so I could be the last of us. Its Annette who is having one of each I haven't found out, sometimes I want to know but I have always said if I was lucky enough to fall pregnant the end result would be the icing on the cake whatever sex. Although picking 4 names is a nightmare!!
Anyone scared????? I am petrified I have a fear of giving birth either way and that is probably the easy part because after that they will be here.
Can't even contemplate how much our lives will change we have been married for 12 years then 2 become 4 overnight, wow.
I am starting to get the same symptoms as when I first found out I was pregnant - have to eat little and often because feeling sick, feel like af is going to arrive, soooooo tired and dreadful hip and back ache. Went to aqua natal yesterday and I havent been for 3 weeks due to poorly and midwife appointments, anyway there was nobody there who I knew, in 3 weeks the turnover in the class had completely changed. That was a bit scary and brought it home, especially considering i wasn't the furthest on.
Vicki I hope you are okay, let us know if you can.
Love Lisa xx
my delivery date has been changed to july 19th so we could be within days of each other. i'm all over the place, it's annette who knows the genders. like you lisa we don't know and never asked for just about the same reason.
the last month of pregnancy is unbelievable isn't it. tiredness, swelling, indigestion, pains. i never could have imagined it and it all came on so fast, and at the same time. well not long now...
I had another Dr.s appt. today and my doctor scheduled my c-section for June 30th( if I do not go on my own before then). Which will make me 37 1/2wks.. He says with twins they are considered full term at 37wks.. So now I'm just waiting, waiting, waiting!!!! My dh and I cannot believe that in 12 days or less this dream is about to become a reality and we will be holding our little babies!!!!!! It all still seems a little unbelievable!
I will keep you posted if anything happens before the 30th!!!
Hope you are both doing well..
Hi
Annette next week, will be thinking of you and hope everything is okay - let us know as soon as you feel up to it after. - all the details of course!!
Like Phil says it doesnt seem two minutes since we all got our positives, I remember reading on the boards people saying to enjoy the pregnancy because the time comes and passes so quickly - how very true.
I go in for my 36 week scan and internal sweep tomorrow, so will see if that starts anything off. I am having trouble sleeping my mind just wanders and I feel really anxious at the moment about everything. If tomorrow doesn't start anything then I can either arrange a date to be induced in 2 weeks time or just hang on for as long as possible and let nature take its course. Haven't decided yet what to do, will see how twin 1 is lying tomorrow I think and take it from there.
good luck for tomorrow - I am just over 3 wks behind you so watch with interest - had ring cut off saturday and doing the anxious bit too - got scan thursday.
OMG Annette - can't believe it - remember you posting - who has stolen all the time? Good luck and can't wait to hear from you
Phil - hope all well with you.
Loads of love

Has everyone brought there things home? my car seats/pram/mattresses etc are still at the shop and am now worrying that I will go in and have them and come out on a Sunday or something and not be able to because my car seats are in storage!!!
Off to Aquanatal then to the hospital this afternoon, could be physically sick, these last few weeks are so difficult I am doubting everything from my ability to give birth to my ability of being a good mam
Thanks for the good wishes, will update you when I get back.
