Becca-congrats on you babies. I am soooo excited for you. I am a little concerned about The Valium 5mg that I was gocen to take one hour before the transfer at the clinic. I have never taken Valium. I am very susceptible to medications. I guess I will definitely be relaxed tomorrow. Has anyone been given this as well for transfer?

Blair- I called the clinic today and still haven't heard back from them on timing for the ultrasound. I am already very anxious and agree...the u/s wait is the worst.

AFM- finally headed back to Michigan tomorrow, but will be down state at a meeting and won't actually be home until Thursday night. Still, its one step closer to being with DH. Hard enough to be gone for two weeks...but its INSANE to be away when we are finally pregnant. Hope my baby(s) do well with a very long day tomorrow. Have to be in class at 7:30 AM, then after class ends at noon I have three flights back and arrive at 8:30 tomorrow night. I am so ready for the long weekend!

Wehavehope- I took valium prior to transfer. It keeps your uterus from contracting. It makes me very relaxed and a little loopy...but in a good way. My clinic even prescribes one the night before if you want it to help you relax and rest. I quite like it.

Question:

I have been having cramps in my private area, no spotting. Is this normal. 11 weeks tomorrow. We thank God for bringing us this far and I do have faith he'll take us all the way.

Bliss-thank you for sharing your experience. I have two Valiums but was not told I could take one the night before. I took a Benadryl, which will help me sleep. Tonight I almost had a crying spell. My DH and I were spending time together as honestly we do almost every night. Tonight, I felt a rush of emotions. My eyes became very watery and all I wanted to do was hold my DH and cry. Not from sadness, necessarily, but from anticipation, possible disappointment, utter love for the greatest man I have ever met besides my father. I had so many thoughts going through my head. In the end, I know in my heart that if God does not bless us with this that we are going to be fine. It is difficult to explain how much of an inspiration and rock my DH has been. Not just now but always. Looking at my DH, DS, and my two step children tonight, we have a wonderful and blessed life. I know what I desire in my heart but recognize that God will make the ultimate descision as to what is the right direction for us as a couple and as a family. Sending all of you lots of love tonight.

Oh wehavehope, I had the exact same breakdown last night. All for the same reasons you mentioned. DH was wonderful and held me and instructed me to go take a hot bath (my last one allowed) and he would clean up the kitchen. It was just what the dr ordered. I too, took a valium this morning before my transfer and it really helped me relax. I am feeling good tonight about how everything looked today. I forgot to mention one of the embies was already hatching. Have been scouring the internet tonight looking for success rates.

AM-I did my Level II u/s yesterday n IT'S A GIRL!! I'm still very much in shock bcuz I wanted a girl but had myself pretty well convinced it wasn't. Don't get me wrong, I'd be fine as long as it comes here in perfect health. I truly wish the same for u all. XOXOXOXO

Transfer is complete. There was a drawback when they thawed my frosty. What started off as a "very high quality" blast after the thawing process became a grade 3CC blast. I don't know how to feel about that. I became quite emotional and finally cried while on the table in the OR. Everyone was very kind and said that this was very typical. I took a few deep breaths and it was done. My baby is now where it belongs and I leave the rest in God's hands.

We-I like what you had to say earlier about God having a plan, and I 100% believe that. You sound very grounded in your decision so keep a PMA and encourage that lil one to stick and talk to her day n night. Congrats on being PUPO cuz you are honey.

Skatie-The cramping is so normal. You've probably been all over the web researching by now, and most of the time it's just round ligament pain and uterine stretching. I'm having it still at 17 weeks. Don't worry.

Bliss n Blair-Thanks. It definitely a pink party or some variation on it. I think I mentioned earlier that I'm in shock about the sex bcuz I just knew it was a boy. So it still has to sink in that I'll be shopping for pink, frilly things. I'm super excited though. I have to figure out how to post the u/s pics and then I will. Hope you guys are feeling as well as can be expected.
