Question about wait time between cycles

Post by jayne321 »

Just found out that I think I'm miscarrying at 6 weeks. Going for ultrasound on Monday but I'm pretty sure. Low hcg, cramping and now spotting. How long is it recommended that I take off before going for round two? I can ask Monday but I just wanted to know so I can start to mentally plan.

Thanks in advance.

I hope you are mistaken. Pregnancy losses can be very depressing. Best of luck with your pregnancy.

Clinics vary. After a pregnancy loss, they would first need to get the hCG back down to baseline (essentially zero), wait for your period, and then they might choose to wait some additional period of time. Or they might start another cycle right then.

Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

When I had a m/c I had to wait 8 weeks before we could try again. I am sorry. I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel better right now. I hope you receive your little miracle soon.

I hope you have good news tomorrow and this post is not needed. My re discovered i was going to miscarry at 6 weeks. D&C was scheduled within a week. You bleed for a period of time after the d&c. My re wanted a menstrual cycle before beginning again. D&c in October stated next cycle in dec.

Good luck

I hope that you are not miscarrying, but if you are miscarrying, I can let you know what my RE says. I just had a miscarriage at 6 weeks. I have to wait until my beta goes to 0, then I can start preparing for an FET at the start of my next period. Hope this helps. I'll be praying for you.

Thanks everyone. I will know more tomorrow at 9:30. No spotting and just minor cramps. I hope I'm just one of those women with low HCG numbers but I'm realistic too. I just want to know either way. When I was pregnant with my son (naturally), I didn't test positive on a hpt until I was really late so maybe there is hope. Keep your fingers crossed!

I told my DH last night that I would like to take some time off if it's bad news on the ultrasound. I need a break from all of these hormones. And maybe a good vacation with a tasty margarita. This is all too much. I'm so grateful to have a healthy 3 year old son. He keeps me going.

Thanks again for the support.
