I haven't been great about posting, but wanted to give a quick update for those of you that do know me

DH and I have decided to get off the IVF train until probably September/October-2011. With work and just a lot of stress going on in our lives we felt it probably wasn't the best time for try #4. I am a little sad but hopefully the next few months we can focus on getting some thing under control and de-stress our lives a little.

I wish you all BFP's!!!! Sunshine, I KNOW I wont see you on a Winter Board so good luck with you upcoming BFP my friend!

It's so interesting to see each persons med schedule. They are different even though we are doing the same thing.

I started with 225 gonal f and 5 Lupron in am and 150 gonal f with 75 menopur in the evening. So far so good.

31 eggs!!! Wow. No wonder you were bloated!

I ended up in Canada with dh. I got guilted in to it. We spent the day out at the beach and it was lovely. Dh knows to keep his mom on a tight leash right now so hopefully I won't have to deal with comments. If I do, I will just ignore.

Wndgrl - Yay you did it! It does all seem overwhelming at first, but then you will realize it becomes easier. At first it took me a while to actually stick the needle inside of me, but now it's no problem. So good luck and make sure you have your instructions in front of you to confirm you are doing the correct thing.

JenMink55 - Good luck to you and know you will be holding a baby in your hands one day. That's what keeps me going!

I had a total of 4 eggs fertilize out of the 8 they retrieved. Better than None and it only takes ONE! I am still waiting to see when we are going to be doing the transfer. I will find out today.

Feeling a little sleep deprieved as I type this, but I wanted to check on my buddies! JenMink, your post really touched me but I want to say I know it's going to happen for all of us at some point of us trying. This is why we cannot give up and I will be stalking Sooo many on here all the way to their BFPS, I promise you that! You guys keep me going too and I want to tell you thank you for always being there!

Today was rather emotional at work, one manager said she was thinking of me the other day....In this movie she watched a young couple were trying to get pregnant, and on their last attempt- she pawned her wedding ring to afford her last round of IVF. Well on that final attempt there was SUCCESS and the doctor told her yes my dear you are pregnant with five babies but at a later scan the doctor said I see one more baby! I thought what were the odds. then remembered the ocupulet mom. I asked her the name of the movie but she couldn't remember..But a few moments later tearing just came flowing down my eyes. I couldn't help but think someday is it going to take EVERYTHING we own to have a baby? They apparently sacrificed everything.... I cannot possibly tell my husband about this because he just bought a boat, but I feel like crying, maybe some sleep instead will help, but why can't people be more sensitive?

Ok so my transfer will be at 3pm tomorrow (California time). I'm gonna go to acupunturist and then on to transfer my little embryos.

Does anyone have the link on when you can start POAS??? I saw on one of these boards a link that tells you when you can test for 3dt or 5dt and when things take place such as the implantation??? There is just way too much to go through to try and find it. Thanks!

Yippee for ET tomorrow. Is that a 3day or 5 day transfer? How many are you transferring? So exciting!!

I don't have any info on when to POAS. I'm sure someone else will help you out with that.

RMB, I googled POAS after FET and got lots of sites with chatter on it. I did FET because that's what I just had. You could google POAS after IVF and get good info. Most of what I read said 8dp5dt or 9dp5dt. Some of them talked about dpo but it's easier for my brain to figure past transfer vs past ovulation (especially with FET).

Let us know when the POAS begins.

I started today (5dp5dt). Negative just as I expected it would be at this stage. I plan to POAS every day between now and beta day. I've become a POAS addict.

2dpt... Embryo is now a blastocyst
3dpt....Blastocyst hatches out of shell on this day
4dpt.. Blastocyst attaches to a site on the uterine lining
5dpt.. Implantation begins,as the blastocyst begins to bury in the lining
6dpt.. Implantation process continues and morula buries deeper in the lining
7dpt.. Morula is completely inmplanted in the lining and has placenta cells &
fetal cells
8dpt...Placenta cells begin to secret HCG in the blood
9dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
10dpt...More HCG is produced as fetus develops
11dpt...HCG levels are now high enough to be immediately detected on
HPT

I wish I had found this board sooner, as it seems you are all so supportive of each other! I go for my beta tomorrow, and I am so anxious. I have not POAS, so I have no idea!! I have had some light cramping, but who knows. I just can't wait to find out!!!!
