Had my day 4 us today. 9 follies on the right, my left ovary was hiding, and there is an endometrioma. Continuing as planned for now.

I'm working in court today so this will be brief.

Alleykittie -- you have ET today, right? Check in when you can and let us know how you are doing. You'll be PUPO in no time!!!!!!

Madame X -- 12 eggs is GREAT. Keep us posted on the fert report. How are you feeling? So sorry you got sick from the sedation.

akdelp -- yes, it is a tough decision. I thought there was no way we would put in more than 2 but when it was time for our transfer our RE recommended 3. Actually it wasn't MY RE but another RE in the practice. Anyway, we transferred 3 the first time around and I never thought we would do that. You just never know with this IVF road. I've never gotten together with anyone. I don't think anyone lives in my area. It would be fun to meet some though.

Kiminsh -- A long weekend getaway sounds perfect. I hope y'all have a wonderful time. Again, I'm so very sorry!!!!

Sunshine -- love the AF dance you coordinated for wishingandhoping.

AFM -- POAS again this morning and another BFP with the line darker than yesterday. I'm officially addicted to POAS and am now doing it twice a day (morning and afternoon) It's been interesting that my afternoon sticks have darker lines than my morning sticks. Off to court I go. Hope we get in and get out but that's highly unlikely. It's usually filled with lots of hurry up and wait.

7 Fertilized ---- I am feeling much better today, still rather crampy but that’s it! Now onto PGD. I am really hoping for a good amount of them to be Fragile X free. Trying to keep positive. I don’t know when I will find those results out yet, I did put a call in. I just know that Reprogentics will be coming to the Lab on Friday (day 3) they take one cell from each embryo. They might take the cells back to their lab in N.J.

Sunshine – I will know all the genders with and without the genetic disorder. I can’t even explain how I feel about that.

MadameX - That is awesome that you will be able to know the gender of your baby! Do you know how many you will be transferring? I am sure it depends on the quality of the embryos, right?

AFM - (does this stand for "as for me" or "all future moms"?) I woke up again to go to the bathroom at around 4am and could NOT go back to bed again! ugh... so annoying! My MIL has been so great! She came over last night and cooked dinner and did the dishes. The DH isn't a very good dish washer so I was glad to have her do them! And I cannot wait to take a shower! I feel so stinky!!! Bedrest is almost over and I will be able to take a shower this evening, so I am happy about that!!!!

MadameX, I personally think it's awesome to know the gender beforehand, but if that bothers you guys... you could always ask the doctor not to tell you. i have mixed feleling about PGD too, but as long as the embies are healthy that is ALL that matters!

AFM: Sorry to cut this short...tight schedule today! u/s this morning went over good...Left side is my dominant and so far have 3 good sized follicles 12,10,11 and she thinks one is hidden behind. Follistim starts tonight!

Nancy - That is awesome!!

AFM (I'm with RMB, does this mean "As for me?) - Went in for Day 5 check. Blood work, u/s and pre-op appointment for egg retrieval. Don't have blood work results back yet but they are thinking they won't be changing any of my meds.

Dr measured 7 follies on my left and 6 on my right. She is very happy. They are all roughly about the same size with 1 measuring a little big at about 9. She said she likes to see them all around the same size. She is happy so that makes me happy. She said tentative ER is looking like Thursday. That would be awesome because DH doesn't work that day. He gets off Thursday morning and starts his 4 days off. Originally we thought ER would be on Wednesday and he'd have to take a shift off. It feels so good to finally be moving full steam ahead.

Question for all - Does ER day count as 1 day? So if I have ER on Thursday and say they do a 3 day transfer, does that mean the transfer will happen on Saturday? Or Sunday?

Wndgrl - I had my ER on Friday and ET on Monday, so you will most likely have ET on Sunday if you are doing a 3dt.

Hi Ladies
Thank you for welcoming me to the board!

I spoke to my Nurse that is assigned to my FET today. She gave me a quick rundown and it will be a "Natural Cycle". Has anyone been through a Natural Cycle FET? Looks like we will transfer after my July AF.

Hope everyone is doing well. Its a hot and humid day in NY that is for sure!!

We transferred 2 excellent blasts. I go back to RE Friday for b/w and next Friday we check for pregency.

So glad to hear it went well!!!!! I was a little worried with my FET that my bladder wasn't full enough. I was very thankful it wasn't overly full when we arrived though because we had to wait in the waiting area a while before we were called back (the front desk forgot to buzz back that we were there!!!) By the time we got around to actual transfer my bladder was good and full. When they put the u/s on it they said "good girl filling your bladder"

Now REST REST REST and let those embies snuggle in where they will be for the next 9 months.

MadameX: great retrievel, hope all goes well with PDG, in one way I think its great to know the gender, but on another note it might take the excitment out for some. I guess it will depend on results and you will know which to transfer, good luck.

Hi everyone!

I am Antonia and I thought I moved from the April-May board and join you ladies here. I know some of you ladies from previous boards and so thought I join you. For those who don’t know me, a few words...my DH has sperm issues that was a result form a mumps infection he got back in 2005. Everything ok with me... And so now its been 2yrs that we are trying to conceive with IVF...I had my 6th BFN in May 27th and now I can’t wait to start the 7th IVF. Like I said to the other board, #7 has always been my lucky #! So we are back on the horse! ...I took my DH to the airport early this Morning ...he is attending as one of the presenters at a conference in Moscow and he is coming back on Tuesday 13th. We have agreed that as soon as he comes back from his trip we are going to schedule our WTF appt with our RE. Since my last IVF was a FET and it was in a natural cycle (only progesterone suppositories, Estrogen paches and cyclacure pills ) I believe that my RE will give us the green light in starting first week of July & that is as soon as my AF arrives. Usually after a failed cycle i wait until I get my period and then another period and then I start my new fresh cycle. My last fresh cycle was end of March so I guess it will be fine to start first week of July. This time, like my RE told me on the day he called me for my BFN, we will need to perform some kind of PGD to the embryos and check for any abnormalities in the chromosomes, and that is because he thinks that after 6 failed IVF’s, including one FET with everything looking textbook perfect (embryos, blastocysts, my endo lining etc) two things can be “wrong” for no implantation: (a) something wrong with the uterus and (b) something wrong with the embryos. And since I already had a Labaroscopy and Hysteroscopy and nothing is wrong with my uterus the only thing left to check are the embryos. So we will see...I really hope and pray that we will find something that will help us have our baby/ies this time!

...With just a glimpse, this board looks like its full with great ladies and its moving fast!! I will try & read your posts and catch up with personals ASAP!
