Barbara - I love your "3-week waiting line for a really awesome ride at Disney World" comment! LOL And YAY on hitting 37 weeks and having Brooke head down, engaged, and ready to go! You're so close to meeting your little one (though I know 3 weeks still feels so far away.) I was a little worried too about how to know when to go back to the hospital since I'm still contracting constantly. So I'll need to watch for a change in their intensity. If they start getting painful instead of just uncomfortable and stay regular despite laying down and chugging water, then I'll need to call & go back in.

Rio - So 5 days before your EDD, hmmm. Yeah, I'd be nervous too given DS early arrival and the contractions you've been having. My doc also offered us the option of end of June (38 week-ish) but with an amnio first to check her lungs but DH really feels like we should just give her as much time as she needs in there so we went with the 39 week option. I guess my saving grace is that I can't dilate with the TAC in there so we really don't have to worry about her coming out on her own. And my previous labors were really long (28 and 26 hours respectively) so if this one follows suit, there'll be plenty of time to get me in and ready for my section. Did you labor with DS and if so was it a long one before they switched you to a c-section?

Kat - Ideally I won't go into labor before our c-section date. With the TAC I can't dilate so we don't have to worry about that but we'd want to get it done before I'm in active labor. So with your classic c-section previously, do you have to have another classic this time?

Ashley - Wow, you seriously have a busy month of June! That is so nice that you'll have an early baby shower before you move to TX. You'll have lots of fun baby stuff to unpack and arrange when you get to your new apartment.

Ryann - LOVE all the pics! Those outfits are soooo cute and I love the nursery pics. And yes, it does look like your belly popped (though I still think you look so petite with your twins.)

Amanda - with DS, he was breech and at 37 weeks had the head measurements of a 1 week old newborn so we went for a c-section and never considered vaginal birth (I was so afraid he would get stuck or issues with turning him around) so OB scheduled him 10 days early and he was fine. So now we have to have a c-sec but OB didn't seem to want to move her up more than the 5 days before EDD scheduled c-sec. Since I have never been in labor and I have been having contractions every so often and big ones. I was just worried about getting into labor to then rush to a c-sec. I guess we will play it by ear, at least we have a few weeks to go since we are 32.5 weeks and she needs to bake longer!!! That's right I forget you have the cervix of steel!!! ;)

Ahhh, yeah I would have made that same decision you did with DS. Breech can be scary business, especially combined with a big head. Well, hopefully both of our girls will stay put until they're scheduled to come out or they'll at least give us plenty of notice (including bells, whistles, and flashing lights) if they're planning on making early appearances. :D

Klinger good question. I will ask her. I'm cut along the bikini line on the outside but on the inside my uterus itself is cut from belly button to bikini line. I guess uterine rupture is much higher with Classics and very dangerous to me and baby. Not sure why though. I'm going to ask that next time too, I think they told me but its been 13 years.

Barbara- I sure hope she decides to make an entrance sooner rather than later. You'll be surprised at how fast things can turn around and changes can be made to your cervix. Fingers crossed you have a nice fast easy labor.

Riogrl good point!! Thanks. A lot of places are not allowing VBAC's I see anymore. Did your doctors say why?

Hello all! quick note...sorry no personals...will catch up with everyone tomorrow. Just wanted to check in and let y'all know that things went fairly well yesterday. Hematoma is still there unfortunately, but seems a bit smaller. OB wants me on continued bed rest until 20 weeks. Sigh. At least my bleeding has slowed down significantly, which is good.

Good news is that both avocados looked great! Baby B is actually measuring 5 days ahead of schedule and Baby A is right on target. Heartbeats were strong, they were very active and fluid volume looked fine. We have what seems to be---one of each flavor! One DEFINITE Team Blue and one probable Team Pink. Tech was sure about boy, and mostly sure about little girl! I will try to post some of the photos tomorrow---we got the regular as well as a few 3D.

Margi I am so so glad everything is going well and YAY for team pink and blue :D :D I know bedrest stinks but you are doing such an awesome job cooking those little avocados. I can't wait to see pics soon. Hugs

AFM the baby shower this weekend was awesome and we got so many wonderful things. Had my check up on Tuesday and my cervix seems to be holding at 2.5cm for now so I am continuing modified bedrest and will get another cervix check in 1 week next Tues....I have faith that by God's grace we will make it to August

Margi - How awesome is one of each??!! Congrats! On that AND the shrinking hematoma. I hope you're on your way to being SCH-free!

Anna - Good to hear the shower went so well! GREAT to hear about the "escape hatch" holding up!

Barbara - YAY! For being officially full term and having Brooke in position! She'll be in your arms before you know it!

Ryann - I just LOVE the outfits you posted! SUPER CUTE! Also, I wanted to mention I remember having a LOT of discomfort towards the end of week 27, and L&D told me that the babies go through a growth spurt around 28 weeks. So, if you're feeling bigger, you probably are. :D

Blair - Our birth plan is when I go in, whether it's scheduled or spontaneous, they'll do an u/s to check the boys' positions. As long as Brady (baby A) is vertex, they'll let me labor (or be induced). Otherwise, we'll do a c-section. Either way, when it's time for them to come, I'll be in an OR, just in case. It'll just be DH and I, so that'll be wonderful. And I will most definitely have an epidural. I don't want to risk an emergency happening and having to be put under.

I was hoping for opinions on the difference between these two pics (taken 8 days apart). I feel like it's drastic, but want to see if anyone else notices...

hi all,
hi stephanie, yup- i can see a big difference too! you look big and beautiful though :) it's crazy how much they can grow in their spurts.

as for the rest of personals, i'm going by memory, and with my energy being the pits- but i remember your baby clothes ryann and i think they're gorgeous! loved the plaid lined collars, one of my faves.

i've had a hard week, busy at work, my DS is an energetic 'maniac' these days, lol, but actually not so funny. and i have a lot of anxiety about transitioning him out of our room into his own bedroom but realize i must do this and get him adjusted before the next baby comes. it weighs heavily on my heart :( and i'm totally into nesting right now but can't b/c DH is very busy with work for another 3 wks and i need him to move his office downstairs so we can make the room upstairs a baby room. ugh. i'm kinda frustrated with many things right now. but on my gratitude list is: Delaney Grace is moving around lots which is so reassuring! and just the general gratitude that i can't believe i'm going to be blessed with 2 kids! and i've been given lots of nice hand me down girl clothes and have a friend with a DD about to have a new DS, so we are goign to 'switch' my DS"S old baby boy clothes for her DD's and she works at the GAP- so i've scored :)

sorry about the AAM post, guess i just needed to get it out.. i'm approaching my days off and looking forward to getting my energy back for some personals :) wishing all a happy week

Margi- WOO HOO for one of each!!! So exciting! Sorry to hear you will be continuing bed rest but it seems to be helping your little ones grow and the bloot clot shrink some. Glad the bleeding is slowing down and hopefully it continues to.

Stephanie- You can definitely see a difference between the 2 pictures!! I will have to agree that it looks like you dropped over that 8 days. You still have a beautiful belly and look so happy. I cant wait until we get to see pics of your little guys. As for your birth plan I would guess thats how they end up doing a lot of twins just to be safe. I still dont know whether I should try to labor or just opt for the c-section. My sister who had a similar frame at the time of her first baby was in labor for 24 hours with no progression and ended up needing a c-section, while my mom was able to deliver all 3 of us. I guess I have awhile to hash out the details and decide on a plan.

karenvancouver- Sorry your having a stressful week with all the anxiety around moving DS out of the bedroom. As hard as it will probably be Im sure its much easier to do it now then when Delaney is here. Good luck and hopefully things start to get a little easier once DH realizes he needs to get busy moving his office.

Anna- Glad you had a great shower and ended up with some nice things. Youll have to post some pics once you get extra time. Fingers crossed that the modified bedrest continues to help and Paul can hang in there until August.

Happy Bunny- Congrats on making it to full term!!! Im sure youre ready to meet Brooke and finally have her here with you but hopefully she wont hold out for too much longer.

sweetpea- Im not sure whether Im still moody all the time or Ive just gotten used to all the whacky hormones over the past year and a half of fertility treatments. I know what you mean about your belly popping out all of the sudden. I think around 9+ weeks it just showed up one morning. These are my first so I thought I would have a little longer but guess not.

AFM- 12 weeks today!! Despite this big milestone I am of course still nervous about my appointment next week. Given what happened at my last appointment I just want both babies to be healthy and growing. Less than a week away but it seems like forever.

***Crashing from the Winter 2011 Board****

I'm a working mom and am struggling with what to eat a lunchtime. My old go-to were Lean Cuisines, but I'm trying to stay away from those sodium foods (had edema pretty bad last time). What are you guys eating for lunch that I could eat at work? I'm getting pretty sick of peanut butter sandwiches :( Any feedback would be appreciated. :D :D

deftonesmom - I am on a GD diet so I constantly snack. Morning I drink my coffee with milk and have a slice of bread (Costco oroweat - 16 g carbs) with cream cheese and a slice of cheese. Snacks are cheese strings, or fruit or yogurt. For lunch I eat some pasta and a salad or a cheese and avocado sandwich, egg sandwiches are also very good. I also work and have a 2.5 yo at daycare and am now almost 33 weeks. It gets very boring but you are right in staying away from over processed food. I also bring soups and some sun chips. When you make dinner try to make enough for left overs the next day!

Margi - yeay on the super cute boy/girl combo!
