Ryann - you look so cute! And your matching outfits and nursery look great too! I'm not sure how I feel about matching twin outfits on my two boys - but on boy/girl, it's totally cute to have coordinating things!

Lou - have a great time in San Francisco -- cram all those vacations in now, before baby girl comes :D

Ashley - good luck with the move. Moving away is really scary, but also exciting! I moved 6000 miles away from my family, to a place where I knew no one except DH and his family -and I barely spoke the language! It is quite the adventure! I totally understand having the shower before you leave, makes perfect sense. Just make sure you leave enough time to pack up all the stuff you get!

nwquiz - yes, OB appts are disappointing after all the attention you get at the RE's office! Even with my super-high-risk doctor and an u/s every time (to check both babies), I still feel underwhelmed with every visit! Sometimes, I just want to go back to the IVF clinic and say 'hi'. (even after swearing a million times that I never wanted to step foot in that place again!)

Kat - we have a guest room with a spare trundle bed... when our second bedroom becomes the nursery - where will the giant laundry pile live? :D I usually stay on top of it, but sometimes DH gets into a big laundry kick and washes a million loads while I'm busy with other stuff ('doing' the laundry is his job, folding and putting away is my job).

Rio - no VBAC? I thought VBACs were becoming mainstream, especially in the USA. Would you want a VBAC and your doctor/hospital won't let you - or do you prefer the repeat C-section? Too bad you won't make it all the way to the end... I have to say that July 31st is quite the awesomest birthday (it's mine!)

Barbara - FULL TERM! Hurray! That's so exciting. Of course, she could come tomorrow, or in a month - but reaching this milestone is great! Just one more "two week wait" or so :D

Margi - bed rest sucks, I'm sorry. But congrats on the boy/girl combo! Hopefully 20 weeks will bring a welcome respite from the boredom and you'll be able to get out of the house. How is the belly progressing?

Anna - so glad the baby shower went well - and that your cervix is holding up well. I hope mine is too... August is so soon! He'll be here safely before you know it

Stephanie - you look fantastic! All baby belly! You have definitely 'dropped' in the last week, and also gotten bigger.

Karen (vancouver) - one of my best friends has 2 boys (ages 2.5 and 1) and is having her first girl in August. I'm hoping to borrow as much of that boy stuff as possible! Hurray for friends with opposite sex babies! Sorry your son is being a nutball - but that's the joy of parent hood, no? ;)

Blair - 12 weeks! That's great! Think of it as 1/3 of the way done :D I totally udnerstand being terrified for the next appt. Mine is next week too... and I'm really nervous. I'm getting just about to the point where I lost my last set of twins. I'm hoping to safely get past this middle part and on to the 'safer' post-viability part....

AFM - nothing new to report! Still haven't felt any movement at all, but I check on them with the doppler. I'm not 100% sure I'm getting both babies on it, but I'm trying not to over-obsess that something is wrong. I know that with 2 anterior placentas it could be a few more weeks until I feel them move... but I'm waiting (not so patiently!)

I went to a baby store for the first time today with a friend (who is due in August). I played around with the stroller we want to get (Baby Jogger City Mini double). Of course, all double strollers are huge - this one seems to be the best bang for your buck at this point. Car seats totally overwhelms me. There are like a million to choose from - and they don't seem that different from each other! We'll see....

Another friend just had a baby boy - so I stopped in an outlet store to pick up something to bring as a baby gift. While I was there, I couldn't help picking up a totally cute sleeper for my own boys :D

One whole week until my next u/s and OB appt.... I'm trying to be strong and not call to go in earlier 'just for peace of mind'. Trying not to go crazy....

btw - my appetite has come back - and is super hyped up! I've been craving breakfast cereal with milk - preferably Honey Bunches of Oats or Life. Yummmm. I can eat a whole box and 2 liters of milk in a single day. Since I spend my life in a perpetual diet (I hover around 180lbs and would really like to weigh less), so letting myself eat at will is weird for me. I know I'm still not eating ENOUGH - which is even weirder! (I should be getting about 3500 calories a day, with twins - but I'm eating closer to 2000).

Instead of nausea and vomiting, I've moved on to the next 'lovely' step of pregnancy digestive issues. When I eat, it feels like my stomach is overly full. I get bad reflux too (TMI, but I burp and it brings up some vomit. Gross). TUMS are my new best friend. So I'm trying to eat lots and lots of little snack-meals.

Leora - yeah lots of places let you do a VBAC but our hospital does not, this is an amazing hospital 5 min from our house so I am not willing to go to another to try (plus my OB has privileges there and no other hospital) it is becoming more mainstream but I guess they don't want to take the risk here. I am not sure if I would do it or not since it was not an option I didn't even think about it. Washing the laundry is the easy part ;) I LMAO when you said where will the pile of laundry live! Your milestones will be here soon, I am sure it will be nice to make it past 24 then 28 weeks!

Sweetpea - sorry about the MS yuck! :(

Blair - congrats on reaching 12 weeks! Your appt will be great and the twins will be super healthy and grown a ton! Are you doing the NT test?

Karen yes I hear ya on the living with a maniac! Mine has a 30 min meltdown before dinner almost every day and seems to have no regards for his safety whatsoever. Crazy how little boys are just so full of spunk and so opinionated! It is getting hard to just pick him up now when he acts up. But he still has this amazing sweet side and I am such a pushover!

Anna - great news on the cervix and how are you dealing with the modified bed rest?

Ok so I am just so sick of being on a diet, on insulin and my belly is full of purple bruises :( I guess I can do a belly shot and photoshop out the bruises! So I was a bad girl and had a twix bar today, I was so craving it forever, I felt so bad thinking I was such a bad mommy but I took my blood after 1 hr and it was totally fine, 119! I guess I didn't eat much carbs at lunch and it worked out, huge relief. I miss milky ways!!!!!!

Hi ladies! Here are some 35 week shots that DH took tonight. Please excuse the messy, frizzy hair in the first shot. It's just way too hot and humid today to fix my frizzy hairdo.

Amanda: LOVE the bump photo...at 35 weeks, who cares about your hair?! You look awesome!! All belly. :) Contractions still under control? 7/7 is less than a month away!!

Rio: Sorry about the tantrums..they will pass. And glad all went well despite the twix. You are an awesome mommy and have been doing such a great job baking that little girl. Hope the contractions are staying under control.

Leora: You sound like me--totally have had enough with this burping all day! Sheesh. I think I will try the TUMS..and I hear you on the issues with calories and getting enough in. I have barely gained 3.5lbs. Sigh. We do what we can--but your bump looks great!!!

Deftonesmo: I do a lot of salads--heavy on adding cheese, avocados, left over chicken, hard boiled eggs, peanuts and other things to add nutrients--especially protein. I also am trying to snack a lot more--like Rio said, but not for GD but to add calories for the twins. Do you like yogurts and cottage cheese? I like to add granola to my yogurt. Those can be a base for lunch as well--add carrot sticks, crackers, fruit, etc. Best of luck!

Ashley: Congratulations on Team Pink!! And I love the name Athena--feminine, yet strong. And good luck with all the things you need to do before the move--careful not to overdo it.

Nwquiz: SOOOOO happy to have you over here. Still feeling pretty good? I personally think a trip would be terrific

Kat: So sorry the nauesea is hitting you so hard. I hope it dissipates soon for you--for me, it started leaving around 15 weeks---I hope you don’t have it that long. And I have also been loving the name Sophia as well!--but how did it get so popular lately? It was #1 in 2010? I still may use it anyway...and regarding the big baby thing--I am a bit worried in that dept as well. My DH is 6’2” (and I am 5’1”) and he was 10lbs 9oz at birth. Yowza. And already our Baby B-baby Boy-is measuring about 5 day ahead....

Anna: Thanks for the continued support! Glad you had such a wonderful baby shower. Sorry that you too are on modified bed rest, but as you said, its the job we need to do at this moment to keep on baking!!

Mellow: I check on darling Marlo every day on your blog. So glad to hear the vision test went well!

Blair: Thanks!- We are trying to let ourselves get a little excited. Congrats to you for 12 week milestone! What day is your appt next week? I am sure all will be well--but I completely relate about the worry.

KarenV: Sorry about your little energy-ball of a DS. I am sure it is difficult to transition him--do it slowly if you can. Take time to lay with him in his room at bed time....it will be hard, but as you said, better to do now than to try to do when Delany comes. Hang in there! And awesome about scoring those friend’s boys clothes!

Stephanie: Congrats on making it 36 weeks!! You will be my new role model! LOL. I hope I can bake mine that long or longer...and you are even smiling?! Love your glow. And what an awesome belly! You make it “look” so easy.:) The 21st is around the corner...

Lou: I love both Chloe and Peyton, but if I had to pick--I’d be team Chloe. And she is totally photogenic. :) And San Francisco will be wonderful! Regarding the Chinese prediction for us was a girl...but I was strongly feeling one of each, so I guess they were right to some degree.

Alisa: Are you doing ok? Almost 7 weeks! When do you get your next peek at your bean? How is that statistics paper going? People thought I was nuts, but I actually enjoyed stats in graduate school.

Barbara: How are you doing? Still hanging in there? And I laughed outloud with your temporary tattoo--I had to show DH...could you imagine going in to OB appt with that on?!

SD: How are you feeling? Almost 20 weeks!! Wow.

Ryann: Love, love, love the outfits!! A snapshot of what we will hopefully be getting to use as well. I didn’t know there were such awesome boy/girl twin outfits! Hope that you are surviving ok on your bed rest.--and behaving ;-)

AFM: Just started looking at strollers... after reading all your posts it got me curious. :) the one I am really liking (for twins) is the Contour Tandem II. It has really great reviews and I like the fact that you can use it with carseats, or the seats it has--plus both seats can turn in either direction so both babies can face back--or face front--or face each other. Obviously we have some time yet, but I was curious which ones the twinsie moms are going with. Ryann--you say you love the EasyWalker Duo, eh? I think I will give it a look.

Hope that everyone has a great weekend ahead!! Stay cool and hydrated ladies--it surely is getting super hot in certain parts of the country.

SD: You poor dear!! What a mess of a week! I guess your dept (police) doesn't have a mobile crisis team--as we do here. In that instance our PD would either have carted him off to a psych ER or called mobile crisis counselor out to talk to him to possibly do an involuntary commitment. Doesn't sound like he specifically threatened you, but nonetheless: scary! And then to be sick...then alone with DS....I really hope that you have an "easy" travel to Ohio and that once you get there you are totally pampered and spoiled. Are you going to see family I assume? :) Let some aunts, grandmas, cousins, whoever! enjoy extra time with your 2 yr old (DS? right) and pamper your pregnant-self rotten for 3 days! You deserve some relaxation and down-time for sure. Hope that is the situation--you better not say you are headed to some conference!! Take care--wishing all the the best. And hoping that your psychotic "friend" finds a ride to a psych hospital, or a beach far away-like opposite coast!- while you are gone!

Ashley -- It's too bad that you're moving for good and I'll miss you on my trip to SF. :( Aw, thanks. I think my daughter (wow, I've got to get used to saying that) is going to be pretty amazing. :D I actually saw my stomach move like an inch outward in one spot. I agree... so cool to see that.

nwquiz-- Yes! You can have fun in florida with a bump! I say go and flaunt it in the sun. Let's see a pic of your cute little bump.

Kat -- I'd love to see a pic of your "popped" belly. My DH is 6'5" too. Are you tall? I'm only 5'4". My hubby likes petite women...lol.

Rio -- Thanks! I will definitely bring sweaters to SF. I've been there many times and know how unpredictable the weather can be. I've got a friend in Campbell, one in San Jose, and a couple in San Francisco. So I'll be all over!

Bunny -- Full term! Congrats. How exciting it must be to be so close. Glad you're doing so well.

Margi -- I agree -- I think you've got one of each in there. Hooray for Team Blue AND Team Pink! Thanks for your vote on the name. I think Chloé it is!

Annashope -- So glad your shower was awesome. Mine isn't until August 7th when I'll be 30 weeks. But I'm excited nonetheless. I'm finally all registered!

Steph -- Wow! What a gorgeous twin baby belly! How does your back feel? Mine's already giving me trouble. :(

Blair -- Congrats in hitting week 12! One more week until the second trimester!

Leora -- You'll feel movement soon I'm sure. I've been overwhelmed with baby stuff too but think "m finally happy with my registry. Are baby showers a tradition in Israel too? Yay for an appetite again!

Amanda -- Your belly looks great hun!

AFM -- Finished our baby registery last night and my Aunt is getting the invites in the mail in the next day or two. I had some awful heartburn last night and couldn't sleep. I think it's because I ate too late and then when to bed. No more of that!

I need your opinions on bedding for our baby girl. DH doesn't want to spend the $ on my first choice but I think it's sooo pretty. I guess he's right. I love the Glenna Jean Isabella bedding seen here. http://www.babysupermall.com/main/produ ... 34140.html

DH thinks this one is just as pretty and is about half the cost. It's growing on me, so I think I can live with it. It has that "pretty elegant" feel I was going for. Let me know if you ladies like it because I think it's what we are going to get.
http://www.babysupermall.com/main/produ ... veShopping

Also, I'm registered at Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby. Does anyone have a good recommendation for a crib mattress that is carried at either store? I'm sorta torn on them and the prices vary so much. I went with a "middle of the road" priced one. It's a "foam core" one. Any suggestions from those of you who have little ones already?

Leora- We have a 3 bedroom so thankfully I have another place to put it but I was super moody this morning and frustrated and told DF that come fall we have no choice but to get a cleaning lady. He works so much and I work and I just don't want to stress myself out anymore.

Riogrl- Last night I almost cheated myself. I kept thinking of The Reese's mini pieces in my cabinet and the icecream in the freezer :( But my obgyn said with the new gd guidlines I would have been considered to have GD. So she said to try and follow rules. Weird that I even got it because I'm not overweight and I probably weighed 120 lbs when they told me I was a few points from being considered GD and they sent me to a nutritionlist and I ended up only putting on 17lbs with my daughter.

Margi- Thanks I'm actually having a non nausea day. Good luck with picking out a stroller. There just so many to choose from these days. I wont know where to begin.

SDtrying- Wow did you have a rough week. That is scary about he old patient. Hope he never comes back. Definitely get plenty of R&R on your trip you deserve it.

Lou- I'm 5'3" and the df also loves petite woman. I have to say Lou I'm with your husband I actually like the 2nd one better too. I'll try and get a baby belly pic up next week. Have my sons graduation this weekend so pretty tied up.

AFM: No nausea today but man I've been moody and getting headaches. Anyone else dealing with the mood swings? I start thinking about all I will need to do to get ready for the baby and the house for the baby and it overwhelms me because my df is a procrastinator and nothing gets done or it gets started and not finished. So normally if I want something done I'll do it but these things I will not be able to do so I'm starting to freak out on DF. He said I've got a few months etc. And I'm like I want it done by fall that way if we have any complactions or anything it's done and I dont' stress. I'm such a planner and he's such a last minute guy!

Sweetpea - I am with you on the cleaning lady, DH hates a stranger in the house but I am running ragged trying to vacuum, clean and keep up with 2 large dogs and a toddler. Yeah I am not overweight either and never thought I would have GD, my friend is on the same boat, I am even on insulin :( and diet. Blah! Yeah I am after DH to get our garage semi organized so I can get through it instead of the steep front steps. My balance is not the best now!

SD - yickes! I hope he gets locked up ;) I hope you have a good trip and you are able to relax a bit, send us pics!

Lou - I am with DH too, things are already so $$$, as for the bumpers I would recommend a breathable one. I would splurge on a video monitor, digital, they rock! As for crib mattresses, I went to the store and touched and poked to get one, some are soooo hard and some way too soft, I got a middle of the road one. I got it at Babies R us, if you want to I can try and look at the brand.

Margi - that was the yummiest twix ever ;) I looked at the stroller and love the fact they can face each other! Good choice!

Karen vancouver - you are brave switching DS to his bedroom now, I am a hoarder ;) so I will keep DS in his open crib in our room and the baby on a co-sleeper and see how that works (yeah and the two big dogs too) of course DH is there too. Crazy huh? It is sometimes the only way I get sleep. DS is now waking up 2 to 3 times a night and "mommy!!!!" so being right there I can put him back to sleep in about 10 secs and go back to sleep myself.

Amanda - gorgeous bump!!!!!! How are your contractions?

Anyone feeling like you will never get everything ready? I am trying to wash DS old baby toys and then he decides he still wants them ;) LOL and then the pup steals them... yeah everything will be slobered, sticky fingered and full of dog hair, she better have the best immune system!!! ;) Clothes are all separated by true size and washed and DH built new shelves so I am happy about that. I got the shower/registry stuff so now I got to wash the swing covers, boppy covers and make sure some of the bottles and my pump are all clean and ready.

Lou - I love both bedding sets but I'd go with DH's choice since it's such a cost savings and still beautiful!

Rio - I had to laugh at your post because our dog is all over everything baby. When I was working in the nursery yesterday, he kept sneaking his head down into her soft-sided toybox to get her stuffed animals and try to sneak off with them. He also likes to do that with my breast pads, her socks, a pair of bunny slippers someone gave her, etc. He then proceeded to sniff every toy on her saucer, swing, and activity gym. Yep, this little girl will have a rocking good immune system! :D My contractions are still stubbornly persistent. Still on the Procardia every 6 hours and I go back for another NST Tuesday morning. How are your contractions?

crashin for lou......gotta say, your pics of your baby brought tears to my eyes! I think the second bedding choice is great and honestly, you won't use the crib bumper, and I never used the comforter either (baby slept in footed sleeper and I put a sleeping "sack" over that if it was cold. I was terrified of SIDS, so I was extra cautious.

Thanks for the work out info....the giving up the carbs (my yummy pasta, bread and even fruit) is awfully hard. Mayhap I will learn to love the muffin top!. Actually I am trying to do without the carbs in afternoon as you suggested, some days just work out better than others.

Have you heard anything from Katie about when she is going to try again... I was thinking she originally said May?

Much love,

Ronda

SDTrying- what a rough week. Glad you are safe and feeling better though. Hopefully your trip will go smoothly and you are able to relax a little.

Margi- Yay on having one of each!!! Congratulations. Thanks for asking. I am defnitely still very pregnant because the m/s has kicked in big time over the last several days. It stinks, but its also kind of nice knowing that the hormones are still raging and that things are probably moving along just fine. The next peek I have at the baby is next Wednesday afternoon. So excited! Thanks for asking.

Rio- somewhere along the way I missed that you had gestational diabetes. Hmmmm...perhaps its because I am a shameless crasher who isn't even due in 2011 and isn't up to speed on all the background given that I'm a newbie. :-) Anyway...I had a good laugh at myself over your unfortunate condition. Reason being is that I read your earlier post when you said "I am on this GD diet" as "Gosh Darn" diet. When I read it I thought to myself, that doesn't sound like RIo...plus what the heck is she doing dieting while pregnant? Took me a while to figure out what it was...but I got a good kick out of my misunderstanding.

Blair- 12 weeks!!! Hooray!!! Congratulations. I know you will never completely relax, but I am sure your babies are just fine. This is your time mama. So happy for you my cycle buddy. :-)

Lou- I agree with Kat. I actually prefer the second one (more of the chocolate color). For the money I say go for it!

Stephanie- I'm with the others...your beautiful babies are preparing for landing. :-)

Amanda- beautiful bump. :-)

AFM- m/s has kicked in. Ugh... But as I mentioned to Margi, I do appreciate the reminder that things are likely moving along. Also, I am having some crazy dreams and woke up about 7 times last night between the dreams and the bathroom. I do believe I am one very pregnant lady! Loving it! My next u/s is Wed. Hello all - Sorry I have been MIA for so long. I have tried to keep up with reading as I could. Busy weeks at work, in-laws for a visit over weekend, then my wonderful sister surprised me with throwing a baby shower on the 19th when I go home to MN. So I have been trying to get baby registries started - thank goodness for being able to do it online. I tried to get her to write gift cards only on the invites since I am flying and wont be able to carry much. She thought that was rude! Anyway, it is friday (my short day at work) I am home and ready for a relaxing weekend.

I am well. Finally started to feel the babies move about a week ago. It was so light that I really had to think about it at first - I think I ignored it at first. Now it is getting stronger and I feel it a lot more. Like I said, we are flying to MN next Wed. I'm a little worried but it should be fine - I have had no complications and my doctor is only worried if I were to get a head cold/congestion due to limited O2 for babies.

I am going to try and catch up with current personals - I am sorry if I miss anyone. I hope all are doing great.

Blair - I am so sorry about the lost of the triplet. You seem have a good atitude. You have to stay healthy and well for the other 2. I know what you mean about the ever growing belly. I know mine grows weekly, sometimes I think daily. It will get worse but it is such a good thing to know they are growing and healthy. GOod luck on your scan. NO more bad news for you!!

Stephanie - There is a definate difference it the pictures - you dropped. You look great. Goodness you are only a week or 2 away from having your babies. You have done so good. I hope I continue on your path as well and can carry them till 37 weeks. I hope you are not too uncomfortable, in your pictures you still look radiant. Good luck with the next few weeks.

Margi - yay for team pink and blue!!!! I am so excited for you. I am glad the hematoma is going down - it just cant go faster?! 20 weeks will come quickly - that was a fast time frame for me (15-20 weeks). Now it has seemed to slow some. You will have so much fun watching your belly grow and grow and grow - you will wish that it would stop for a day so you can adjust, it just never does. All I can do is laugh now. I bought some shirts that were really big and thought that they would be good for the 7-8 months. Nope - fit me great now. Oh, we got the graco duoglider. Not first choice but it was on sale. I want side by sides but all the ones I saw that held the carseats were so huge. Plan is to buy a different one later when out of carseats, have more head control and can actually use a jogging stroller- hence getting the graco on sale.

Blissful - congrats on one healthy little bean!! Sorry about the MS.

Lou - Love your name Chloe. I am so jealous of all your travel. you are looking great. Chloe is adorable in her last US picture. I actually like the second crib set better (DH choice) but I love brown and pink together. Both are beautiful. I just started to register - it is so hard. I just get so confused by all the choices. I need to have it limited - this or that. I am jealous you are done.

Ryann - you continue to look amazing - sure you are have twins? (ha ha) I love the crib sets. I hope I get that organized by then. I just started cleaning out the room that will be the nursery. You and the twins look like you got spoiled at your shower. I hope your heart is doing better.

Leora - love the belly picture. I am glad you are starting to eat more - the babies need it. I finally started to feel my babies more about 19-20 weeks so you are fine. I was also jealous of all these ladies feeling them at 18 or so weeks. You would think with 2 you would feel them sooner but no. I am also very overwhelmed with the baby buying decisions. There are just too many choices. Good thing you can return things.

Kat - I hear you on the headaches. But the ladies on here said that they go away about week 13 and they were right. Sorry you are still feeling so nauseous. I hope it passes soon. Wow, you will have a big baby with a 6'5 daddy.

Rio - oh, I so hope I don't get GD. I ama chocoloholic. I save all my snacks and caffeine intake just so I can have chocolate. You have done so good. I won't tell about a little twix bar. I know I will not have everything done by the time the twins get here so I hear you. I always tell people that I'm a punter, not a planner. (Deal with it when it gets here). I am trying but I get so overwhelmed. DH is trying to help and set up a plan for us.... He is the planner.

Klinger - Less than a month to go... Love the belly picture - I think the hair looks geat - no one really notices with your smile. I hope you are staying well and not having too many BH.

KarenV - It would be difficult with another little one at home and getting ready for the new baby. Just one day at a time. And good attitude with looking at your blessings - it keeps things in perspective.

Mellow - Marlo just keeps fighting. I am so glad her vision is good. I hope she continues to improve and have less and less of those A's and B's. Hope she continues to breath stronger and better and get off all the machines for good. You are still in my prayers and thoughts.

Ashley - Congrats on the little girl!!! I know I had a 1/2 week to get baby registries set up but the time the people got the invites for my shower in MN. I figured get some done and continue to work on it. I know I will likely have 2 more so if I miss anything I can add later. Good luck with the move. You have so much going on, hopefully family is helping. Enjoy these last weeks with them.

Barbara - love the belly tat!!! How fun. Take it easy and hopefully that "line" won't be that bad of a wait. Hopefully she shifts a little to give you some relief.

Anna - Glad the shower went well. Yay for the cervix staying strong. Praying the news stays the same next week.

SD - sorry about your rough week. Makes mine pale in compairison. Here's to next week being better.

Wow sorry for the book - (thank goodness I had copied this as it took me so long the website logged me out...)
