Val's Back!

Post by Val R »

Hello Wibbs, Nicola, Dagny, Tracy...I'm sorry for those of you that I have missed :( I'm back on the site after a few months off with computer problems. I look forward to catching up on all the news I have missed.

Sydney is here! I couldn't be happier!!! She was born on the 29th of May and is a very happy, healthy, beautiful baby girl. Her dad and I are absolutely thrilled to have her in our lives although she controls every minute of it. I never knew how hard it would be to just be able to go to the bathroom when I need to.

I had a very easy labor and delivery. I went to the hospital on a Saturday afternoon and had her by 10:00 that night. Her birth was truly a wonderful pleasurable experience.

Well, you are going to hear a lot more from me now. I look forward to many middle of the night postings while trying to get a fussy baby to sleep.

Love,
Val

Hi Everyone. Thank you for not forgetting about me and for your wonderful responses. :D

Tracey, thank you for passing my news on to Nikola. I guess she is one busy woman and isn't able to check in to the site too often. I read another post of yours and am so happy that your two little girls are doing so well. I bet neither you or Nikola can wait for your two little ones to join the world. Please let Nikola's dh know how much I enjoyed his post after the babies were born. I printed a copy and have it on my desk. I read it often, it makes me laugh and cry. I love proud daddys!

Dagny, I think about you often. By your signature, I read that you are planning ICSI this month? What stage are you at?

Wibbs, Here's some info... Sydney was born 6 lbs 15 oz with a head full of dark brown hair. Her eyes are dark blue, but we aren't sure they will stay that way. My eyes are brown and dh's eyes are green. My dh has the most beautiful green eyes I have ever seen and am hoping Sydney will have the same. I read that it can take up to a year before the baby's true eye color develops.

I am still breastfeeding. I was a little worried the first couple days that I wouldn't be able to produce enough milk for her but on the 4th day my milk came in and we have had no problems. She eats about every 3 hours during the day, but at night, she will let me sleep about 4 hours at a time. She has a fussy period each day for an hour or two, but for the most part is a wonderful baby! :D Please catch me up soon on your experiences with motherhood and Joshua. I bet we have a lot in common...

Love,
Val xxx

Hi Val

You sound like you have taken to motherhood very well. Sydney sounds like she's a lovely baby. You have been blessed.

I started my treatment 2 weeks ago and started stimms yesterday. My EC is on July 8th. I can't believe I am talking about all this again. I never thought I would have to do all of it again :( I just hope as I have been PG before that it will happen again but as we all know there are no guarantees. Fingers crossed.

If you have a picture of Sydney I would love to see her. My email address is on my profile. The same for you Wibbs I'd love to see Joshua too.

Love Dagny xkx

Tracey and Dagny. I emailed a couple of pics to each of you. I have some really cute ones now, so once I figure out how to get them to you, you are going to see some more. I promise I won't bombard you with them, but I love showing her off. I'm looking forward to the day when I get pics of the two little Tracey's and at least one little Dagny.

Tracy, you may be right about the Percy Pigs but I think I should have eaten one more pack. Maybe then I wouldn't have the 2 hour fussy, crying fits each day, but I'm not complaining. She always has them in the early evening so that I always get a good nights sleep.

Dagny, I will keep everything possible crossed for you :)

Wibbs, I tried to email the pics to you but I must have forgot your email address. I have it at work, so don't have access to it.

Love and Hugs to each of you,
Val and Sydney

Tracey,

Wibbs was able to open the pics, maybe she will send them to you.

The big thing on the news here in the US is that women who eat chocolate during pregnancy are more likely to have happy babies! I hope your babies prove them right. :D

Thanks for sending me the pics. I'm going to go check my e-mail now.

They should be very happy babies then! Just had an email from Nik saying she was complaining to DH she was bored and then the girls woke up and drove her mad moaning. She decided to take them out for a drive and Millie pooped everwhere so new clothes need and Florence was sick all over the place. They then demaned feeding at the same time and got the hump when she couldn't feed them and wind them at once and have now exhausted themselves and her.......... perhaps too many percies?

hello its me!

I love reading stories about me! Tracey Sharp you really don't need to tell everyone when I've had my bits waxed or nails done!!!!!! I'm a very busy mother of two who barely has time to visit the loo let alone beauty salon (yeh right!)

Val its lovely to see you back on here! I'm glad all went ok with the birth and that sydney is finally here! Who would have thought it, we SCBs all made it at last......it was a bloody rocky road for most of us, with each of us suffering our own individual traumas, but finally we can all relax (well not really relax!) and enjoy our babies!!!

As TS reports, my two are a handful! Both are developing their own personalities and have their own way of doing things. I just love them and being a mum - its everything I hoped it would be and more!

I hope you're all doing ok! Better go, I worry when its quiet, I have to check they're both ok......

lots of love
nik.xxxxx
