MadameX, wow what a time you had with the PGD but I'm glad it all worked out in the end for you guys. Congratulations you are now PUPO, take care of you and I cannot wait to hear more updates on how you are doing. Lots of reading/movies to make the time pass a little quicker will hopefully help.

WndrGrl, good luck tomorrow with SnS. Hopefully the doctor will allow ER on Friday so you can get plenty of rest over the weekend.

Lauren, glad we have a nurse in the house that knows all about pediatrics when the upcoming day arrives. It must seem so much easier the second time around but the first everything is so new. Anyway, yay on stimming, Grow Follies Grow! and speaking of growing you mentioned gardening? I love watching our veggies grow too. Whats so funny is the other day on my cell phone "appointment reminder" popped up and I thought what could possibly be going on on the 26th, well I pulled it up and on there I read Pumpkin ready! I laughed b/c it was months back when I had planted pumpkin out in our garden, but I was taken away by that because this is also very close to my beta day. So maybe this will be a big fat positive week for us to go along with my pumpkins!

Yay Alleykittie and Lyn10 you now have less than a week, may the days fly by fast and bring you both a BFP. I also remember RMB and jcbaby are in the 2ww also. Please send us your beta day, so I can pray for you guys too.

AFM: IUI in less than 12 hours, must get to bed. lol I told dh to sleep in the other room tonight...There is just something about this trigger shot that makes me want to attack him.

Retrieval has been bumped to Thursday. Dr measured 15 follicles today on my right. I wonder how many they will actually pull out?? I have a couple on the left but I doubt they will be usable. The dr wanted me to go one more day to get them a little bigger.

I don't know how some of you have produced so many eggs! She said my ovary is the size of a grapefruit so I can't fathom what it would be like with 20-30 on each!

This morning I took a HPT and it read "Not Pregnant". This afternoon I tried one that had the lines and I saw a really faint second line so I asked my husband if he saw what I saw and he says he sees the line too. So this evening I took another Clear Blue Easy digital test and it read "PREGNANT"!!!! I cannot explain how Happy i am!!!! I feel so lucky because this is our third time with IVF and each time I have had a positive test but, what scares me now is the ultrsound. I have yet to have a good ultrasound. I am praying that this one is good and we will have our little baby home with us in February! I checked a due date calculator and it says due date would be Feb 23. My Dh birthday is Feb 20. One hurdle passed and another one to come!!! I hope I can sleep tonight!

I have a question. AF just started while taking Provera. I thought I would be starting Estrace, but the RE told me that they need to wait for it to stop to do an ultrasound, then wait for it to start again. She said we would discuss when to start Provera again. If AF just came on the 9th, would they start me on Provera again so soon?!!!
Any help is welcomed.

Oh what wonderful news!!! I'm so happy for you. Your beta is on Thursday, right?

I, too , have had better lines in the afternoon tests vs the morning tests. We POAS addicts have to stick together. LOL.

You'll be right behind me. According to the FET due date calculator I'm due Feb 16th. I know that date may change as things move along but it's nice to have a date in mind. Dh and I said it would be cool to have the baby on 02-12-12. Of course, we don't really care when. Like everyone here, we just want a baby.

I'm not at all familiar with Provera so I have no clue about your question but I'm sure someone here will give you input.

RMB – That is so exciting!! I am so happy for you; I really hope you have a great u/s this time around.

My DH is adamant about not sneaking a HPT, which I was thinking about getting up enough guts to do just a day or two before beta to try to prepare myself. He said he will go for the blood work with me and we will wait together …. Which is so nice, but at the same time I need some metal preparedness. I am feeling good, my bloat pain is finally diminishing and my transfer went excellent. I am still just lounging around, starting to get bored…. I do have plans for tomorrow and Thursday so that will get me out and about.

Lauren- so when so you start stimming?

AFM; Sorry I have been MIA. My life has been so crazy lately. They put the internal cervix sleeve in for my mom to have the internal radiation. They said visually everything looked normal but they are still doing the internal to make sure they got it all. I told my mom I was having her a shirt made that saids" I kicked cancer's Ass and made it my *****"...lol she was rolling laughing. Anyways, I had my baseline us & blood work yesterday and everything looks great. My nurse called told me to start Estrace 6mg Thursday and Ganirelex 1 vial every day starting Saturday. Has anyone done this before bc it is new for me? I am so glad our summer board has a wonderful start with BFPs. Oh and my nurse said they have a great bunch of women doing IVF this cycle so we have a great shot with getting a donor to go along with my cycle.

This is exactly why I POAS. My clinic (as probably do lots of clinics) say do not use HPT but I like being mentally prepared. I like having some idea of how it's going to go.

Blueeyed - Do you do the trigger at home? Or do you go into the office for that? Our trigger we have to "mix" the meds. I'm so nervous about that. Hopefully I'll get better answers today when I go in for monitoring.

Amanda - Love the shirt you got your mom! That is so cute. I'm on ganirelex but not estrace. I take the ganirelex in the morning and the doctor said it's to stop ovulation. They don't want eggs releasing too soon.

Wndrgrl, I will trigger at home. Have you had to mix anything yet? All of mine have needed mixing. You can probably find videos on youtube and have your coord train you too if you are worried. Video helped me with my menopur because mine was different than what they showed me at the clinic.

AFM - Retrieval went great this morning - The nurse said they got a total of 18 eggs which was a good number. I thought there would have been more considering I had 32 follicles, but she said it's not that uncommon to have a decent amount less than the number of follicles Just some R&R today and tomorrow and the nurse said they will call tomorrow with the fertilization report. Transfer will be Friday or Sunday!!
