Retrieval is set for Friday. I will find out later this afternoon the exact time to do the trigger shot as well as the time for my appointment. I have circles on my butt cheeks where the shot should go. Ha ha. I told DH that the shot could be as late as midnight. I'm not doing it myself. Thankfully it will only take a minute or 2. Hopefully he's not out on a call when it's time! haha.

I’m looking forward to a little break in injections for a couple of days. I won’t begin progesterone until Sunday. They aren’t sure whether I’ll have a 3 or 5 day transfer. I won’t know when I’m transferring until Monday morning. Yikes! Talk about last minute planning with work. Thankfully my job is pretty flexible. They won’t do the transfer until afternoon so at least I’ll be able to work Monday morning. I’m ready for it to be Saturday already. I’m trying not to get nervous based on the measurements today. Doctor measure 9 that she says are good to go. Hearing stores of others that have 20 or even 30 makes me feel like that number is low. It only takes 1.

She asked if we are transferring 1 or 2. I told her DH is set on 2 but I'm still nervous at the possibility of twins. She said if it's a 3dt normally they transfer 2 and for a 5dt they transfer 1 because they are able to find the better one. She's thinking with my age I should be good for a 5dt. We are back to the part of all this where you just don't know!

Lauren - I am sorry to hear the news about your ER. That must be so dissapointing but, soon, the day will come and you will be PUPO! Don't worry it'll be here before you know it.

AFM - I went in today for my beta. I am still waiting for the results. I went in early because all day yesterday, I had cramping on my right side. The RE says it's too early to see if it's an ectopic. I am really hoping it's a cyst or something else and I don't have ANOTHER ectopic. I will be so dissapointed. When I had one the first time, I had no idea. I only had a pinching pain two days after transfer and it went away. I didn't find out until AF wasn't coming so I went to my OB and he did a beta test and ultrasound and sure enough, there it was all snuggled up in my tube. So I pray that I don't have an ectopic!

Has anyone who has had an ectopic experienced pain??? If so what did it feel like and how often did you feel it? Was it constant or did it come and go?? I'm feeling better today. Don't really feel the pain. God PLEASE don't let it be an ectopic!!!

I'll update when my beta comes in. RE says to come back again on Fri to see if numbers are doubling. Usually with ectopic they don't douple.

Just wanted to shout out a thank you for being here to share your stories and this experience! I think I would lose my mind if I didn't have some ladies to share this journey with that truly understand the process-the good and the bad!

I'm at work so won't write much now. Just wanted to check in to see how everyone is doing. It helps me get through the cramping and sore tush! Retrieval is a go for 9:30am. Must say I'm a bit frustrated with this cold. Having a sore throat, cough, and aches is not how I wanted to go into retrieval. Oh well! So it goes

This will be quick. We are having storms so our internet is down. I'm using my phone to report in. My 2nd beta was 1160. My doubling time is 37.26. I go back in on Friday for my 3rd beta.

My hcg beta came back at 143 9dp3dt. Not sure if that is good or not??? I am going to do some research. Hopefully they double by Friday!!!

RMB - For DD, my 10dp3dt was 90, so I'd say you look great! We think DD was a bit of a late implanter.

I'm so excited - my FSH day 3 level came in today at 5.5! Still a "fertile myrtle" at 38. I have a regroup with Dr. Minjarez next week, and other than that we just need to wrap up DH's 8 weeks of vitamins and get this darn polyp out. I see a baby at the end of this road!

Congrats to all you BFPs, and patience and baby dust to all the PUPO ladies!

No midnight trips to the fire station! Our doctor pulled a favor and we are one of the first retrievals Friday morning which means I do the shot tonight at 9pm. Oh boy.

Hey WndrGrl - you don't have to do it now, but should you ever have to, I've given myself PIO shots before. It's not ideal, but it's certainly manageable. I know you can do your shots in your thigh too, but I'd be awful scared of hitting bone. Ouch!

Wndrgrl, aren't they great! I'm glad you don't have to go to the station at midnight! You could do it yourself but it would be a challenge. I've done it in the past and shooting myself in the rump wasn't easy. You could hit the bone in your leg especially if you are a smaller woman so you have to watch how far you inject the needle. I did IM injections for about 8 months for MS treatment. I did them in my leg. Now, this hcg shot left my tush quite sore so I don't think I would want to do it in my leg. But, that is me

As for me, ER is in the morning. I'm on my countdown. I am so ready. I feel like I've been a bit of a whiner, but these last few days have been terrible. I had to come home early today because I had so much pain all over my body. I went for my first acupuncture last night which was good. I took the hcg trigger and have not done well since. I wonder if I'm reacting to the diluent. I get a lot of pain because of my MS. But this was intense. It was all in my muscles and joints from my shoulders to my toes. I thought I was going to either cry or vomit in the car as I tried to get home. Two Vicodin and a nap helped but it's still here. I also got really itchy and had some hives this evening on my leg. Weird. My belly is super crampy! Ok, enough of that. I feel better after venting a bit. I think my overall pain tolerance is going down because I have neurogenic pain which increases the amount of pain felt. Plus, the IVF process is really hard on MS patients. Regardless, I am so excited for ER to find out how many little eggies we have! I'll take the pain if it gives me a chance at a little one!

Anyone else ended up with pain outside of pelvic cramping?

AFM- First of all I want to say A HUGE thank you to all the ladies for their kind wishes on my birthday!! some of you told me things and wishes that I felt that came from their heart and I that really moved me... ...I had a very nice time on my BDAY and the whole weekend in general and Monday (Monday was a bank holiday) I got a really nice bronze suntan from being at the beach and really nice gifts for my BDAY! ....Tomorrow afternoon is our WTF appt with the RE and I am looking forward to get the green light to start stims on July 1st (the day I get my AF ) I am SO excited!!! we are probably doing some PGD this time to check the embies for any abnormality that might be causing NO implantation. So, I am scared and excited at the same time for this cycle. I am crossing my fingers and pray that this time we get some answers that will lead to a BFP! ...I am doing some final shopping for our upcoming trip to London next Thursday 23rd...as I told you we are going for the Christening of our sweet Goddaughter Eleni I have already posted some pics from the bombonieres that I've made in the April-May board. I will try and post some pics from the Christening dress that I bought her...among other clothes and stuff... I fell in love with it! she will look like a little princess in it ...we are coming back from London on 30th June and starting our cycle the day after will be just perfect! We are going to try and have fun in London doing stuff that both me and DH like and get ready for our 7th IVF Please God let it be the last one to have and give us our miracle baby/babies this time!!!
