Ester -

Hi honey! I try to stalk my old cycle buddies when I can, am I right in thinking that you'll be trying in July?
You should know that I'm always pulling for you and that so are quite a few others  This next one WILL be it for you! You've been waiting too long and your positve attitude is infectious! I have no idea how this little (big) guy got to be 7 months already?? But its true. I may be crazy to be getting back on this crazy roller coaster but now I'm 41 and feeling like its now or never. Thanks for "stalking" me, hee hee, isnt it odd to say that?

welcome Katie! glad you can join us. I can totally relate to your crazy heart rate upon entering your clinic again! I felt exactly the same way. I kinda forgot all the angst and hopes and crazy feelings after two years--but it all came rushing back.

I don't feel as crazy and anxious as when trying for number one (and wishing and hoping to be a Mom at last!) So hopefully trying for number two will not be as stressful. Although there is the added stress of being two years older and knowing what that can do to your fertility!!

Kerpuppies--did you get the results of your FSH test? I hope it is good!

Is anybody else moving forward with treatment? Or mostly cycling in August it seems? I start my Puregon tonight!!! I am on a microdose flare protocol.

Had my saline sono and mock transfer yesterday and ordered all my meds today. They will arrive Friday. Just have to wait for my next aunt flo to start the meds, which should be another three weeks or so if my cycle is normal. I still can't believe how quickly my period started after getting my Mirena iud taken out! Going back to the clinic yesterday to start all this was sooooooo much less stressful and dreadful than the first time around. :D

I agree dogzrule, it seems much less stressful so far.....I am currently on lupron and will have my FET 3 weeks from today! I really don't think about it much. I have to remind myself to take the lupron daily!!! I am hoping this low stress continues for the next 3 weeks and then for the dreaded 2ww.

Hey Suzie Qiwi-I am right there with you (well, almost)... I am starting suppression tonight (synarel nasal spray), and Puregon injections are just around the corner. Aaaah! I can't believe I am on the IVF roller coaster again, but here I go! I am also considering (strongly) acupuncture. I did acupuncture with my successful IVF, so I think I gotta try...

Hey Lovely Ladies-
A bit of back story: My adorable little DS cutie was born Aug. 2008, the result of my second IVF. About a year and a half ago, I began the IVF process trying for my second; I was on a week of suppression injections, when I found out I was PREGNANT! NATURALLY! Couldn't have been happier. Well, at 8 weeks, we learned that that miracle wasn't meant to be after all, and I miscarried. And so I grieved, and healed after a long while. And now here I am again, beginning my new IVF cycle. Been pricked, scanned, breasts smashed, EKG'd... and I am all ready for a BFP in summer '11. Bring it on!

Good luck to US ALL. Lots of hugs and positive energy to all of you... let's be toasting to good news with some sparkling water real soon!

Is anybody else cycling now? Kerpuppies--did you get your FSH results yet--I hope it is all good.

Hey Sue- the miscarriage was so hard. Every now and then I still get pangs for that pregnancy, but I am ok :). I very much look forward to us succeeding real soon.

Hope all is well with everyone today. Have a great weekend!

hi everybody :) i'm currently 26 wks pg with my second, sue pm'd me and it's inspired me to post here, although i'm not cycling- hope that's ok...

it was a real long-shot us getting pg again, i have high fsh and have responded very poorly to stims, but thankfully i'm one of the women who respond to DHEA pre-stims... my 1st IVF was cancelled due to poor response, 2nd IVF was recommended to cancel b/c i only made 2 follies on max dose stims- but i refused, went to ER, and got PG........but then m/c at 12 wks, so then 3rd IVF with DHEA before hand- got 9 follies, 4 embies, and 1 beautiful boy who turns 2 years old today :)

so we did an FET last fall, and like many of you- i didn't feel that stressed, i felt excited, was pretty hopeful but cautiously optimistic- telling myself 'it'd be ok if it didn't work b/c of DS'... well it was chemical and i was totally devastated..... SOOOO we decided to cycle again, i went back on DHEA and was on it for about 1 month and got naturally pregnant... quite shocking.. DH and i have been suspicious much of the pregnancy that 'something' would go wrong, cuz a natural pregnancy was just too much of a miracle for our case (we have a MF also)..... but here we are..

i often feel compelled to share with other IVF women my story cause we were recommneded to 'give up' so many times, go DE or adoption, and i'm a couple months shy of 39 yrs, so it really is crazy... i don't ever want to sound like it's all 'rainbows and butterflies' to other women struggling for their miracle, but i do like to share what's happened for us, both with DS and this pregnancy, ... i feel like my son's 'theme name' is MIRACLE, and this baby's 'theme name' is MYSTERY.. lol... but actually we're naming my belly baby "Delaney Grace".... it's a girl :)

i'm pretty blessed and would love to follow your journey's and cheer you on.. sounds like summer's going to be busy with stims on here and some FET's .. LYD- when's your beta? hopinginnc- so nice to see you here, i'm imagining your heart is quite full of emotion after your loss..... i hope your hysteroscopy went well.. sharishu, i'm sorry for your loss too.... i've heard several natural pregnancy miracles after IVF and they often don't end well.. i'm sorry yours didn't.
deftonesmo- congrats!! hi to dogsrule, brit, kerpuppies, and katie also.

as i write right now, my son naps and i feel my baby moving in my belly. i feel pretty blessed.. that being said i still often worry 'somethings wrong' or 'will be wrong'.... but i've made it this far, so fingers crossed :)

Karen-
Thanks, like I said, I am fine now :). The crazy thing is that I was actually ON suppression when I discovered the pregnancy. Was wild. I am so glad that your miracle wonder is working out nicely. Shows that all is possible, ay? Have a safe and smooth end to your pregnancy :)

Going to take my nightly synarel (suppression nasal spray).

Be well everyone!

Karen--I am so happy you hopped on here! It means a lot to have your support. I am so excited that your number two is a girl and what a beautiful name you have chosen!!! I know it is hard to shake that "something is going to go wrong" feeling. I had those pangs up until after I gave birth to my girl.

Lyd--I am hoping you got a positive. Hope to hear from you.

I had my first scan and there are six follies--but two are mini and lagging behind and will probably not be mature. But Im not complaining--four is great for an old lady!! And it is actually quite similar to my successful cycle which gives me hope. I will probably trigger tonight and egg collection will be Friday morning.

I forgot how ill these drugs make you feel! I think we blank it out after the IVF cycle, kinda like forgetting about labour pains! I'm looking forward to stopping injections after triggering. But am a bit terrified of egg collection as the doctor on duty is new to the clinic. He did my friend's collection and she ended up in hospital with a punctured ovary! They keep reassuring me that he is an expert and it will be fine.

hi guys - its a negative for me. i was shocked - for some reason i really expected it to work. but ok - moving on. i am happy i have a busy job to keep my mind off and i have a plan for another FET a month from now. we'll thaw out my remaining embies - 6 of very questionable quality - and let them grow for a few days and then transfer the best looking ones.

Oh Lyd--I am so very sorry to hear it was negative. I was hoping you would be pregnant. But I am glad to hear that you have more frosties (wow--you must have had tons of embryos!!). And I see that your son was the result of a frosty! So I am hoping there is a winner for you in those six.
