Nancy- welcome to the board! It is definitely not too early to join us. I struggled with the same thing. I am beginning to think the early weeks are the toughest and when you need support the most...and its hard to ask for it from women who would give an appendage to be where we are right now...worried sick about our little beans continuing to grow!

Speaking of little beans sprouting and growing like weeds...check out my beautiful new pic in the ticker! Beanie is getting so big!

Blaqdymun- I am with you whole heartedly on amnio versus CVS. Its smart to be thinking about it like you are and determining what you would do and mentally preparing for it. But remember, even for women in their forties the risk of down syndrome is like 3%. The odds are very much in our favor, so don't think so much you miss out on this amazing experience. :-) I'm not sure what we would do if faced with that decision, but it is something we will talk about as time gets closer. You are right, it is very personal but so is everything else about IVF and we must respect one another's choices as well as help educate each other. Thanks for sharing. Sorry you didn't get to hear that little heartbeat on the Doppler. I am sure everything is just fine but I know you have to be anxious.

Mora- how are you feeling? Did you every decide what to eat at work? I found some great organic frozen meals last week and stocked up in the freezer at work. Some of them are really tasty!

Hi Ladies,
Thanks for welcoming me here. :-) I had my 3rd and final beta today. It doubled again in less than 48 hours so that is all very good. My u/s is on 6/29 at 1pm. (12 days away) I told Amanda that I hate wishing my life away but I can't wait for these 12 days to pass.

I'm glad that all my betas were all good, strong and more than doubled. That's a good feeling. Now I wait for u/s to see the heart beat. I can't wait.

Dallas- congratulations on being done with PIO! I cannot imagine what that is like. I switched to Crinone after my first two cycles on PIO. I hated it it (As if anyone likes it :-)) Well a lot of women dislike crinone but it has been easy and just fine for me. Still looking forward to being done though, one less thing to think about. But if I was going off of PIO...I would be counting down the days! Good for you.

Mora- I am feeling pretty yucky...but not too bad. The hardest thing for me is that I am watching my 2 1/2 year old niece today and DH is at work so its just the two of us. I don't know how the pregnant ladies with little ones do it. I was ready for a nap at 11 and of course that is not going to happen. Plus keeping up with her increases the nausea which has really picked up over the last couple days. I still haven't actually chucked, but came really close last night (TMI). I am also having a really tough time getting all the fluids I need, just don't have the stomach for it. As rough as it is...I am still loving the reminder that everything is moving along well. Wouldn't trade it for the world!

Nancy- congrats on another great Beta. The 29th seems so far away!

AFM- I am excited to celebrate DH's first Father's Day tomorrow. Last night he told be it wasn't his first Father's Day and that it wouldn't be until next year. I told him that I could just take back all his hundreds of gifts then. :-) I think he is still just a little nervous about the pregnancy, but he was smiling and even blushing a bit. I think he is really excited about it. I got him and my siblings families tickets to a Detroit Tigers game next Sunday. We have never been before and its on "the list" so I know he is really going to love it...especially going with my family who is so much fun. We had the time of our lives at a Lions game in the fall (one of the few they won). Its going to be a blast (even though we are over 4 hours from Detroit."

Can't believe my niece let me write this much. Thank you Dora the Explorer!

So cute...she wants to rub my belly...AGAIN. :-) Awe...

Have a terrific weekend fellow future Moms.

My U/S was amazing. JuJu bean is growing so much. Hb at 170bpm. I have to post a pic. I am re-thinking having an amnio at all. I have 5 more wks to decide. I am glad the baby is doing well. I really don't feel pregnant at all except for extreme fatigue and a few cravings. I hope u are all doing well this weekend.

Blaqdy: WOW! What an amazing pic!

Dallas: yay for no more PIO! I remember with DD, I was scared to stop the PIO. But with this one, I can't wait! :D

Bliss: Yes, hanging with a toddler while pregnant is TOUGH. With DD, I could come home and crash on the couch. Not so much with a 14 month old running around. Way harder this time around. Luckily, DH is AMAZING and helping out a lot.

AFM: still queasy. Hungry, but food is gross. Tired. But I wouldn't have it any other way! :D

Hello everyone!

New on board here! I'm from April/May Cycle Buddies and I'm excited to join this board.

Actually I had triplets but my doctor advised me to reduct one of my triplets coz my body wont handle it if I'll continue triplets pregancy. Since my body is petite and surely good for one I had no choice but to agree and let go one of them. Unfortunately, after 2 days of my operation when I had my ultrasound again we found out that one of my remaining twins didnt survive and the heart stopped beating. I was so devasted and so asked my doctor why'd it happen, she said since I have 2 sac the other sac which containing one baby was behind the identical and the identical was the nearest one to reach so they cant just pass over and reduct the single ton baby.

I can't help but crying for like 2 hours straight coz I still cant believe that it happened. But I'm still thankful coz my little one is growing healthy and now turning into fetus already. My last ultrasound is when I was 8 weeks & 5 weeks (that's the current pic that we have down there with my ticker) and now I can't wait for my next sono on 7/1. The wait is killing me! I cant wait to see my little one. I still need to wait like almost 2 weeks!!!!!

And oh for those who are in the first trimester like me , you might want to prepare yourself for the hard days that will come, I swear I almost give up coz I think having nausea, back pains and cramps is too much! But in the end it will be worth it. Have a nice week guys. And ill try to catch up and read every of ur post! Have a great week!

Funny tht I went on 2011 winter due board glad I go bavk and check it,,,,
My due is on 1/14/2012

Have a question ladies.... I did my last pio injection on Sat. Well my RE wanted me to do 4 more days of progesterone so he gave me the Crinone suppository samples. My question is.... Did it cause any cramping with anyone??? This is my 2nd day of 4 and my stomach cramps most of the day I have noticed, esp right after I insert the medicine. Normal??

Dallas: never been on that stuff. Have you tried a google search with "cramping" and "crinone?" Google can find some other IVF forums that offer some good advice. If I am having a weird symptom, I sometimes do a google search and then post on here.

Smoon: Welcome! I'm so sorry for your loss, but you still have one little guy thriving! We would have been faced with a similar situation since we transferred 4 embies and we were on board for reduction. The health risks were just too great. We only had one little guy take hold, so we didn't have to reduce. My next u/s is 7/1 too! It seems soooooooo far away!

Smoon: welcome April/May cycle buddy. Glad to see u here. I'm sorry about the twins.I know that was most heartbreaking.I believe your best interest was at stake and God forbid the docs allowed you to continue carrying all three and put all of them and you in danger. I feel for you b Cuz I know that was a tough decision to make to begin with. Just thank God u have another miracle to look forward to. Again, welcome.

AFM : My son, DH and I planted a "Dappled Willow" tree as a dedication to our lil juju bean. Now we can count the years and the growth of our tree with our lil one. It will be a nice story to tell him/her later. It's such a cute little tree. TODAY I woke up with such a headache (oh my) I almost didn't make it to work. I guess I just didn't want to be in the office bcuz as soon as I left this afternoon I was fine :P Weekends are waaaay to short!

Smoon- welcome and sorry for your loss. Ultimately it will be better for you and the baby, still I know it must feel bad on a number of levels. We transferred 3 and had all of them taken I am not sure what we would have done, especially if the Doctor felt it was hazardous to my health. I know it would have been heartbreaking and I'm sorry you had to experience it. Nothing about this process is simple, but as you said it is worth it.

Dallas- I am on crinone and I certainly cramp from time to time, probably a bit more than I did on PIO but I never thought about it. A lot of my cramps seem to be digestive, though not all. My guess is that you are just fine and your body is adjusting.

Blaqdymun- that pic is wild! What an amazing view of your little one. Hard to believe they are already so human at such a small size. Kind of looks like he/she is staring right at the ultrasound saying hello to Mom and Dad.
