I have been fighting these stupid headaches for 2 weeks. They seem somewhat related to the weather. When it's really hot & humid or a storm is brewing, I get more headaches. We had a couple of nice cool days with low humidity, and they went away. Somehow, this weather is messing with my sinuses causing these headaches. Can't wait for fall, for a couple of obvious reasons.

Crissy: So sorry to hear that the amnio was miserable. Hang in there during this 2ww...remember, odds are still in your favor. And congratulations on having a little GIRL!! Very exciting. I hope to know our “flavors” on Tuesday.

Nancy: Thanks for the reassurance. When do you get the results of your bloodwork? Is your next u/s the level II ? Or a regular one? 4lbs sounds perfect! I am still going very slowly in that regard and need to pick up the pace seeing as I have two buns cooking.

Char: Everything ok with you?

Mamaboo: Did you get a date scheduled yet for c-section? Going to “double up” the birthdays? So sorry to hear about your continued headaches Ugh...

AFM: Going ok...bleeding is slowing down. Go on Tuesday for 3D/4D u/s with OB--hoping and praying that the SCH is shrinking or gone!!! Not much else going on with me other than I am slowly gaining weight, but no where near my target for twins. I am supposed to have gained 20lbs by 20 weeks. I am almost 16 weeks and have only gained 3lbs. Hard to work up an appetite lying in bed. I am doing my best to eat healthy and push lots of water...that is really all I can do. Any hints welcome!

Margi - good luck at your u/s. hoping your bleed is gone and you finally can get off of bed rest. as far as gaining weight i don't have any recommendations. I am also 16 weeks and i have lost 3 pounds. I didn't have any MS but they put me on the GD diet at 8 weeks and I think i eat less now then before i was preggo. I am overweight so I don't think its a real concern. Post us some pics of your u/s. I love the 3d/4d pics. do you know the genders yet?

Crissy - Congrats on the baby Girl. Sorry you had to do the amino. I am scared as hell to have an amino. don't like the idea of a needle. I think if the Dr recommends it for me then i am going to turn it down but seeing that i had a 25yo donor i don't think they will mention it. Hope your test results come back A-OKAY.

AFM - patiently waiting for June 30 when i find out if this cutie pie is a boy or a girl. I can't wait. Is anyone still wearing their regular clothes? I am and they aren't even feeling tight yet. Guess i should feel thankful that I am not in the yucky maternity stuff yet. I started feeling the baby moving this past weekend so really enjoying those little flutters.

I found out that I having another boy!
Schedules for amnio next week and really scared about it...

Chris: Yes, I would be grateful if I were still in my normal clothes!! I think it is quite "normal" for singletons to not really show much until into the 2nd trimester. I have only gained 3lbs, but my belly is OUT THERE. You will start to pop out soon enough I bet!

Nancy: Congratulations on another Boy!! Very exciting to know!! I hope that all goes smoothly next week with the amnio--what day is it scheduled for? Is DH able to go with you?

AFM: Appt went fairly well. Unfortunately, the hematoma is still there. It isn't growing at least, and may have shrunk some--although last visit they didn't measure it. (?) He wants me on continued modified bed rest until at least 20 weeks (4 more weeks. Sigh) and then if things looks stable I guess I can get back to work. It has been 9 weeks already!! Can you believe it? Anyway, the good news was that they have a wonderful new 3D/4D machine so we were able to see our "avocados" in 3D!! And looks like we have one Team Blue and one Team Pink!! Exactly as I predicted/hoped. Also makes picking names easier--I think. Level II ultrasound in about 2 weeks.

Hope that everyone is doing well and that you all take care this weekend. Seems to be a heat wave going on in several parts of the country, so stay cool and stay hydrated!

Hi ladies! I am still here. Everytime I try to post, it gets eaten. My sinuses are getting better, but I developed an ugly cold sore! It is healing though. Heartburn everyday, but it is all worth it in the end. I think I'm off to bed in about 5.

Margie: CONGRATS on one of each! That is awesome.
Mammaboo: hang in there with the sores!!! I know they're not fun.

On MOnday I'll have my anatomy scan and amnio. Realle nervous about the amnio!!! WIll just keep my fingers crossed!

I had ob appt yesterday. It was really quick or it would have been if I hadn't had to wait 40 mins to see the Dr. Grrrr They have signs up that if you're late, they can make you reschedule and pay for a missed appt. What if the dr is late?!? Can I bill them for my time?

Heartbeat is 148. I have my main u/s at my next appt in 4 weeks. I will finally get to see what we're having! yea My sister had her's today (she is due a month before me). She is having a girl. She has two boys already. She is very happy, but I reminded her that we are blessed no matter what. (My dad had 5 daughters and was never happy about it. He always had a way of making us feel "less than" about it. I would NEVER do that to a child. That is one reason that I do not care what I have (and also being so blessed just to get to have children in the first place).

Mamaboo: i completely agree with you. Any baby is a blessing and the only thing I would care about is having a healthy one.
Heartbeat looks good. Good luck on ultrasound. Are your sores any better?

I had my amnio on monday. The u/s was very good. Procedure went well. Now i'm just praying there won't be any mishaps as a result of it.

Mamaboo: Glad all went well! So is that your anatomy scan you are having in 4 weeks? Heartburn is driving me nuts too--but Tums help somewhat.

Nancy: Glad that all went smoothly with the amnio. I am sure that all is well. Is it 2 weeks before you get the results? How did the anatomy scan go? I was told they can tell you a lot from those measurements? Take care!!

Chris: I agree--it is so awesome to feel those little flutters! And I will try to post my 3D pictures this weekend.

AFM: Not much new...bleeding is slowed--It is only spotting now and not even every day. I am really hoping that is a good sign. I also am feeling my little mangos move which is REALLY exciting for me-and reassuring. I am also finally starting to gain weight which is a good thing. My belly has popped out!! I am measuring 28 weeks already I have gained 4 lbs in this past week alone. Yicks. If I hadn't been having such a problem gaining weight prior I would be worried. I go for next appt this coming week on the 23rd. I go see MFM for anatomy scan and see OB to discuss the hematoma and plans forward. Hoping all is going well and I can get off bedrest. Wish me luck!!

Hi ladies. Yes, I am having my anatomy scan on July 11 and will find out what flavor we are having. My cold sore better. The swelling and fever went out of it a week ago. The scab that was left over is almost completely gone. I HATE cold sores!!! I have been working very hard not to pass it on to my son. Thankfully, DH doesn't get them. I hope Boothe doesn't either.

Other than that, I have severe pregnancy acne. It's much worse than last time. I look awful! I am back on Zoloft. The pregnancy hormones really do a number on my OCD symptoms. However, only another 23 weeks or so to go!

Hi ladies. Sorry I have been so grouchy and down lately. Firstly, my OCD tends to really act up when I'm preggers. I can control it pretty well normally, but the pregnancy hormones cause it to be harder to control. I'm back on meds for it. I'll manage. Also, my grandmother, who raised me since I was 13 months old, died on Aug 1 almost 4 years ago. Every summer I end up feeling melancholy. I never realize it until I'm in the of middle of it. However, I'm doing better. Feel little one kick about every night at this time. I just felt it again!

Hey ladies- just stopping in to see how some of my favorite cycle buddies are doing. It has been awhile!

Mamaboo- sorry about the melancholy of summer. I can certainly understand that. My father passed almost 15 years ago just a couple days before my birthday. It was a good 10 years before I really enjoyed a birthday. Its funny how time works though, now I use that time for reminiscing and it usually just makes me happy to take time to think about him. Try to think about the good times and how blessed you were to have someone so special for as long as you did.

Crissy- thinking of you and hoping all is going well with your pregnancy!

sorry I have been MIA for a long time. Had a lot of personal stuff going on and been really stressed.

My amnio turned out good. Everything going smoothly so far.
Monday I had my blood glucose test which I hate because I always get nauseous from the sugar drink.
I can't believe it's the 3rd trimester already. With another baby keeping me busy, time sure goes very fast.

MAMABOO: are you feeling better? I know you were kind of down when you wrote last time.

BLISSFUL: how did your anatomy scan go? Did you do an amnio.
