Thanks ladies! It feels good to honor the bump LOL. With my first two I was so young and self-conscious I wouldn't have set foot near a bikini. I'm glad this time around we've taken lots of pictures to look back on years from now. And swimming felt GREAT! Though Stephanie is 100% right - the weightlessness while swimming was wonderful but when I stepped out of that pool I felt like I was carrying a few hundred pounds of lead weights on my body.

Stephanie - I keep periodically checking for updates from you. Tuesday's not too far away but I keep thinking labor's going to start up this weekend for you.

Alisa - Your ticker pic is adorable! He/she does look like a little bean. :D

Lou - Wishing you safe & speedy travels and I'm glad you have your active little Chloe to keep you company.

Sorry I was MIA for a few days...

Barbara: I know you were disappointed, but sometimes things can progress quite rapidly!! You are almost there, Brooke is almost here....cabinets--blah--I like Rio’s idea (but I have been on pelvic rest since this pregnancy started so any activity sounds good to me! ;-) )

Anna: So sorry that your cervix is opening, but I am praying the meds work and that little Paul stays inside a bit longer. Hang in there. You are doing a wonderful job.

Amanda: LOVE how you rocked your bump!! I am so looking forward to getting out of this bed and into a pool of water..ah...sounds so nice...

Lou: Hope that your trip goes smoothly...drink extra water as flights can dehydrate you to begin with.

Kjm: I am loving my fruit as well! And, yes, we are seriously considering cord banking--my OB said he has recently been convinced that it can be quite useful (and he had a hefty discount coupon to give us). Might ask your OB if they have any offers like that.

Alisa: Fabulous HB and, yes, one perfect little bean! :-)

Osi: Good to hear from you!! 23 weeks..you are sure getting there! Glad to hear you are able to work from home--I tried requesting that but my employer won’t allow it. :( They even took away my blackberry so I am totally out of touch with everything at my job.

Chris: Glad you dodged the nasty drink...2 weeks until big u/s-yeah!

Rio: Sorry no pics at last u/s :-( Glad baby girl was putting on a good show...you will be making those milestones!! Just like you made the ones behind you....Contractions staying away? Thanks for the idea about baby gates for furbabies...we were starting to think about that ourselves. And thanks for keeping up with the cute list!! :D

Leora: Since I am stuck on bed rest it is only DH that is able to ooh and aah at the stores with baby stuff. We haven’t bought anything yet (although we are Jewish, too, especially with twins, it would be nuts to not be prepared!! IMO). Probably around 24 weeks I am thinking as well. And mmmm...Cherries....and I am having a growth spurt myself. I am on a twin board and many of the women say they had one around 20 weeks...I guess I am a little early! But I gained 4 lbs this past week. I was worried and DH thinks I am a nutjob--”first you worry you don’t gain enough weight, then you worry you gain too much?” And? That is my job--and being on bedrest makes it easier to obsess I think. Oh, well.

Stephanie: Hope that things are still ok..Tuesday will be here before you know it!! Wow...Brady and Jaxon are about to make their entrance...I am so excited for you!! (or maybe they want to give DH a very special Father's Day?

Blair: Glad that all looks well--babies look adorable on u/s!! Glad to hear you are starting to gain weight. I too had cysts and an ovary the size of a grapefruit--took weeks to go down and feel better. Hope yours goes down soon.

Ryann: Hope you get some advice from your OB about your tailbone pain. Sounds awful. :-( But congrats on being an auntie!! That is exciting.

AFM: Not much to report. Bored on bed rest, but starting to feel movement which is really exciting and reassuring! :D My anatomy scan with MFM is coming up on the 23rd. I need everything crossed that my SCH is shrinking--or better yet--gone! My bleeding has pretty much stopped except for a bit of spotting, but from the SCH board it seems like they are so unpredictable it is really hard to know if they are shrinking or not until you peek with the u/s. I meet with my OB after the appt so we will discuss my plans (bed rest? work?) from there. It would so be nice to have a "normal" pregnancy--whatever that is!

Hope that everyone has a wonderful weekend and fabulous Father's Day!!!! :D :D

Sorry ladies, nothing to report yet... :(

Since having my membranes stripped on Wednesday, my contractions have been getting progressively more intense (aka OUCH!), frequent, and coming from my lower back then wrapping around to the front. But the darn things aren't regular! I've had them as close as 3 minutes apart to only 2 an hour... :?

I am exceptionally nauseous and have seen a "change" in BMs (TMI  ) but until these contractions get some timing going, I'm just outta luck.

Maybe I'm getting geared up for Sunday. It would be so much better of a gift than the shop vac DH wants for Father's Day!

Hope everyone is feeling great and LOVING their pregnancies!

No news here either :(

I've been having some cramping, BM changes and increased BH but don't feel close to the big day yet. I have an appointment on Wednesday, I'm hoping that I make some cervical change by then.

Hi ladies! I am still reading your posts almost daily, just finding it a little difficult to post. We are all home now and the boys are doing great  It's so nice to have them home and not hooked up to anything.

Stephanie: way to go!! I can't believe your boys will be full term!

Amanda: you look great! You're almost there!

Barbara : sounds like you'll be going any day now too.

Anna: don't get out of that bed!! Hoping and praying that Paul will stay put a little longer, although 30 weekers do pretty well.

Leora: hope you're feeling well. I need to send you a PM.

Lou: you're looking great!! Love the name Chloe!

Ryann: hoping you're feeling well! Don't bother with the travel wipe containers, they don't hold nearly enough. I ended up getting the plastic package with 40 wipes in it.

Kjm: fyi on cord blood banking, if your twins are less than 33 weeks they can't collect the cord blood. Or at least that's what were were told in the delivery room at 30 weeks.

Here's a picture of Will and Wyatt sleeping at home

Take care!!

Rio-Cecilia was my number one choice until an old boyfriend stole it and named his first dughter Cecilia. Kinda took it off the list as you can imagine. I have always loved that name. Plus it's the name of an adorable little town in Kentucky near where my Dad was born (very quaint and small town, not hillbilly at all :) ) That one gets my vote for sure!

Blair -- SOO CUTE! I love when they start looking like 'people' instead of blobs! So glad to hear everything is going well with the twinkies! (btw, I take TUMs for heartburn and think they are gross. Too chalky and nasty to take just for the calcium. Try the Viactiv things!)

Ryann - my DH is getting so cute about the pregnancy. He talks to the babies and rubs my tummy all the time. We took a long walk the other day, and he kept making us sit down in the shade and rest - which is soooo unlike him! Cute! And CONGRATS on becoming an auntie! How are your sister and nephew doing?

Amanda - having the baby is a bit more excited than an anatomy scan :D but July 7th should be a good day for both of us! (I guess you won't be going to see the new Harry Potter movie the day it comes out, huh? :) ) And your bathing suit pics look awesome!

Kat - that's cool. I never heard that Irish people also have the tradition of not shopping for baby until after birth. I know it sounds crazy to y'all, but that's how everyone I know does it! Baby really doesn't need anything at all in the hospital - and DH can run out and buy a carseat before mommy and baby are released. (But.... I still like shopping for stuff anyways!)

Rio - 34 weeks! Yay! Great milestone! -- I like Cecilia, or Nicole. (I can't name a kid "Nicole" here in Israel though - that's the name of the biggest toilet paper/paper towel brands -- like naming a kid in America "Charmin" -- but I think it's a great name! and in Hebrew, it's a pun on the words "cleans up everything" -- not sure if that helps!)

Anna - I'm sorry that things are progressing so fast and you are still so early. But please be reassured that at 30+ weeks, baby Paul will be perfectly fine, even if he is born now. I hope you can keep him baking and stay comfortable for a few more weeks

Lou - have a great trip to Denver! Beware - I've been stuck in that airport and it's a real maze!

Alisa - so glad bean is doing well! Very cute u/s picture!

Margi - I'm constantly worried about gaining not enough weight, and then gaining too much weight. UGH! I never know what to eat. I'm guessing that I can't go wrong with snacking on fresh fruit! You're feeling movement too? I feel so left out! I'm also 20 weeks and *maybe* a few flutters. Oh well - 2 anterior placentas can do that! I was really worried about it, but u/s shows both babies are fine. Good luck at your anatomy scan!

Stephanie - so exciting that you are so close! I'm sorry contractions aren't cooperating -- and baby boys are a much better gift than a shop vac!

Gina - ADORABLE! They are sooooo cute! Enjoy them!

AFM - Here are my boys from last week's scan. Not a great picture of either one, but we really wanted a picture with both of them together and this was the best she could do:

Image

I'm doing well. Getting bigger and bigger. I can't believe I'll keep growing all summer, I already feel huge!

Also - I'm having serious heartburn trouble. I NEVER have heartburn when not pregnant. Ugh. It hurts sooooo much. I didn't eat anything before bedtime, and propped myself up on a million pillows, but still couldn't get to sleep until 4 am, even with 2 doses of TUMs. ICK!

Leora - Yeah, I think we'll have to delay my viewing of the last Harry Potter movie LOL, but as soon as I can I'll be going to see it. :D I'm so sorry you're now dealing with heartburn. I didn't have it but my SIL did and she spent many nights sitting up in her rocking chair trying to fall asleep. NOT pleasant!! I love the latest pic of your boys, so cute!

Rio - I love the name Cecelia. My 6-year old niece is named that (we usually call her CeCe) and she's just completely adorable. And yay for 34 weeks!!

Good morning girls and Happy Fathers Day to all our wonderful husbands :)
Thank you so much for all your words of encouragement and I am still here and still pregnant :) 30 weeks 4 days...lol Procardia pretty much insures that I don't have contractions but I didn't have many anyways and I am constantly laying down so it feels like everything is stopped fr now but then again I can't check my cervix so who knows. I feel pretty optimistic and all of your encouragement really

Amanda I LOVE the bathing suit picture!!!!! You look amazing!! Maybe if I make it to 36 weeks I will try on a bikini and hope I look that good. I have been meaning to ask you if Procardia gave you or anyone else here who has taken it constipation? I am already on colace and still very little help...lol sorry TMI

Stephani I cannot believe you carried those boys to full term!!! You are an inspiration to me So its Sunday keep us posted are you going to try a vaginal delivery?

Gina Your boys are so beautiful!!! So glad you are home

Sonya how are you??? We worry when we don't hear from you

Margi the bedrest is kicking my butt!!!! we need to PM each other because I am in serious need of coping mechanisms here...lol I never knew laying down could make everything ache so much.

Leora I love the ultrasound pic how cute! I know what you mean about getting bigger and bigger its just hard to believe

Rio I am with the majority I like both Cecilia and Nichole and woo hoo indeed to the 34 weeks :)

Ryan Congrats on becoming an auntie :) how are you feeling? My nursery is finally done DH was putting finishing touches on it yesterday I will post pics soon

Blair so glad to hear everything is going

Happy Bunny sorry that there is no news yet. One of my best friends is do in 2 days and we were so worried she may come early weeks ago and now its just funny that she is still preggo and will probably go over...ah all that worry. Let us know

Lou Enjoy your trip...wish I was going somewhere too..lol My son is leaving with my mom to the beach house for a week and I am so happy he gets to go but also a bit sad because I hate being apart from him and I will worry all week but I am sure he will have a great time..I was supposed to go too but since the fear that I may go into labor my doc does not want me going 2 hours from home. DH promised me that we will take a mini vac in the fall to FL with the babies so I am ok waiting for that:)

annashope - On your Procardia question, I think it has made my constipation a little worse. I find that as long as I keep up on my water intake I'm usually ok. By keeping up with it, I find that as long as I refill my 16 oz water bottle at least 8-10 times a day, I'm good (I drink a LOT but it also helps keep my contractions at bay.) Anything less than that and I'm reaching for the colace after a couple of days. And I'm so glad to hear DS is going to the beach house for a week! That sounds like a lot of fun and I know you were worried about him being bored while you're on bedrest so I'm glad he'll have this little mini-vacation to kick off his summer.
