Madamex

ref your question -

Debaro – When is your beta?

I live in the UK and over here we do not get bloods we are asked to take a pregnacy test at home (which the hospital supply you with) the test is to be taken 15 day after embryo transfer.

I have read so many sites where people who have had a 3dt get a positive test 8-11 days after transfer it now day 11 for me and its still negative

Great to hear everyone's progress and although some are not what we were hoping for, please don't give up hope just yet.

AFM- Had my 2nd beta on Monday (12dp5dt) and it was 434. This was up from 212 on Friday (9dp5dt), so hoping to continue the upward progress. Getting another beta on Friday so we'll see.
So sorry about your OHSS but super wonderful about your great betas!!!!!! When will your u/s be?

Blue, I had hives all over my body the weekend my family came down to visit me, I had just finished some meds from my Laproscopic surgery and we think it might of been an allergic reaction? Possibly my nerves were shot from all the racket but that had never happened before either> Let us know what your doctor says when you can. Hope you feel better soon!

Akdelp, your sense of humor puts a smile on my ugly face, no you are never annoying and I'm not being fuzzy! I cannot wait to hear your next report on how much your embibabies have grown. :D

Alleykittie, nice beta! Keep on drinking the gater-aid and I hope you feel better soon too!

Debs and MadameX, Sorry you are having a time in the 2ww, I'm not overly religious but I do believe praying and reading his word brings us peace of mind. Hebrews 11.1 and John 8.12.

Hi debs,

Hugs...don't lose hope k... Maybe it's implantation bleeding...I was told that as long as it's not full flow, it's ok...stay positive dear! Best of luck! :)

Today my day12, I tested, saw a very faint line... But I'm worried it's because of the hcg jab that I had last thur....
I'm going for beta tomorrow morning... Hoping for the best now...

All the best to the other ladies! :)

My doctor said even if I think my period is coming or bleeding starts--still go in for the beta. It is very possible to have a period even while we are pregnant...So don't loose hope girls!

Hi everyone! :D

Unfortunatelly girls Iam running late with stuff and I can't post personals! ...the time in my part of the world is 20:30 and we are flying to London tomorrow morning at 10:00. Nicholas is coming from his running session in the next 10min and after having shower we are going at my parents for dinner. my bro will be there too to give them the last instructions for taking care of Happy, the fish in the tank and to water the plants that are not connected to the watering system. then we are coming back, hit the sack and wake up at around 6:30am get ready, go pick up my MIL (she is coming with us to London for the christening :D ) and hit the road for the airport. I have a huge bag full of baby stuff for our Goddaughter and I cant wait to see her wearing them! I even bought her a small cloth rabit to play with at the church during the christening :D The Christening is due for this Saturday 25th! I will post pics when I get back on the 30th June. Of course I will try post personals with the first chance I got from London!..if any...

Lots of stuff happening in our board and in general, for the week that I am going to be away on my trip,
- I want to wish good luck to those in 2ww! You are all mommies as we speak! xxx
- Bleeding doesnt mean its a negative! wait for the beta!
- Bravo for those that already got there betas and its all good!
- All the best to those that are going to have their ET! get ready to be PUPO!
- All the best to those that are going to have their ER!
- All the best to those about to jump on the IVF rollercoaster once more!!! This will be IT ladies!!

OMG! almost forgot! I went in for my base u/s this morning and my egg didn't drop yet and its size 16cm....i saw a tiny bit of AF sign and my AF is due on the 1st of July! so my RE gave me Dufaston to delay my period to give time to the egg to drop. so I am going to get my AF aroung the 4th - 5th July and on the second day we start the Antagonist protocol!!! Yay!!! wOOHOO!!! cANT WAIT!!!!

Tons of Baby dust and sticky vibes to us all!!!!

Hi eveyrone,
to all the ladies i already know from previous bords and to all new one,
lots of things happened and still happening, im trying to catch up with your signatures (i can't read all the previous posts unfortunately)
so, im back after a 2 months vacation, it was good, i made myself forget everything about ivf and bfn and now im back to the real world....
my AF should be due on july 6 , i changed RE, and will be trying a new fresh cycle with some new medications and a new protocol, im excited yet very afraid at the same time, i feel like crying everytime i think about the coming cycle, im afradi of the "BFN" thing and of the "unexplained" thing also...... hopefully the new RE will be able to give me a BFP.....

i wish u all good luck on ur journey and may u all have ur summer BFP :D

personals will be later coz im still trying to catch up with ur news :)

Hi Ladies,
I am brand new on here so here is my long and complicated story...

I am 32 and DH is 31. We had tried for just over a year when I agreed to seek additional testing through a RE.
I had an ultrasound which determined that I had 2 (that's right, 2) uteruses. I had my HSG which was only able to view my left fallopian tube (no right one was detected). The recommendation from the HSG was to go for an MRI of my pelvis and abdomen. I was left in the dark until my first appointment to review all previous tests with my RE on June 21, 2010.

It was confirmed that I did have 2 seperate uterus cavities and each had it's own fallopian tube and ovaries...so, I have 2 unicornuate uteruses. The right side, however, is not connected to my cervix and the recommendation was to have it surgically removed. My surgery went well and my ovaries are all healthy. During the surgery I the RE discovered that I had stage 4 endo...imagine that?! That explained the excessive pain I had on a monthly basis.

So after the surgery and time to recover, I began my first IVF cycle in November 2010. 21 eggs were retrieved, 6 were fertalized, 4 made it past day 3 and 1 was transferred and 1 was frozen at day 5 blast stage.

On Dec 1, 2010 I had my transfer and on Dec 15, 2010 I had my first disappoinment with my negative pregnancy test.

I began the process to have a FET with a tentative date for March 9, 2011. One week before my transfer my cycle was stopped since my body was not responding well to the meds. Another major disappointment. DH and I decided to take a couple of months off from all of the meds and appointments and enjoy each other again.

I should also mention that in late February I began doing acupuncture 3x a week. I have since continued and things are looking good for a transfer date of June 30th!!!!

I am super nervous about the entire process but also very positive and I just know it will work this time. I do feel that the acupuncture (and weekly medical massage) has helped my body to react better to the meds this time around.

Thanks so much for reading my long and exhausting journey. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Kynlee and Akdelp-
Good luck tomorrow, big day for both of you ladies! :D You know I will be saying prayers tonight!

Fruit- welcome back! I've missed hearing from you, but glad you had a nice little break with dh!

Jersey- Welcome to our board! Wow you have been through alot already with IVF, but it's good that the doctors are taking care of the "double u" early on. Glad you are here to share your experience with us. :D

AFM- nothing new to report but you know I can always find something to talk about but it's good stuff! Anton is going to have a blast in London. I cannot wait to hear about her trip and see some pictures of her baby god-daughter. I know it's a blessing to be a part of their lives as it is to be a part of yours. :)
