Kat- I am so jealous that you already found out the flavor!! Congrats on the baby boy!!!! I think sometimes kids just know what babies are…I have no idea how though. My almost 5 yr old nephew thought from the beginning that we were having 2 girls and a boy, so after we lost one he said not to worry since we still have 1 boy and 1 girl. He told me that the other girl just wasn’t strong enough. Im glad Angela is excited even though she originally wanted a girl. Dec 12 sounds like a great date!!!

Gina- I cant believe that blanket helps the boys sleep 5 hrs a night. I am definitely going to have to register for some. Glad to hear that they are doing well!!

Nwquiz- Its always good to have nothing new to report…means things are going “normal”. Stinks that they are making you wait until 20 wks for the US but Im sure it will be well worth the wait when you see your little one on that screen.

Vicky- Congrats on the healthy baby that seems to be growing leaps and bounds. Looks like now we have a due date not far off from each other. I would say we would wait the full 6 wks to find out the sexes but if they could tell me next wk at my apt I would be thrilled. Not too much longer until the shopping begins!!

Mellow- So great to hear that Marlo has gained a lb and is up to 2 lb 12oz!!! Glad she is passing her tests and doing well. Im sure its been quite the journey and you cant wait to bring her home with you. Hopefully DH will be home just in time to bring her home and get settled in. Sees so beautiful!! I love that strawberry blonde hair. She really does look like shes getting bigger. Hope she takes to breastfeeding right away and things go smoothly.

Rio- Yea I have always said I was going to get the Moby but I really like the K’tan now that Ive seen it. I agree that now is not a time to get the reactions people may have on the names you love and have worked so hard to pick out. Just go with the one you want and don’t let others opinions sway it. My family is complaining about not knowing the names just because apparently they wanted to have stuff embroidered…I guess they will have to wait.

Amanda- I have a feeling the no naps was just a phase. I may need to incorporate them back in since Ive been feeling tired after sleeping 7-8 hrs at night. Hopefully your naps pay off soon and you can bring home Maribel- which I guess will still mean naps since youll have to sleep when she does.

Kjm- Yea Ive decided im not going to worry as much about the weight gain. If I start to gain too much or too little I have 2 doctors that will let me know. At the MFM I get weighed every 2 wks so hopefully they will be able to tell me what steps to take if I need to alter my diet later on. I am shooting for close to 40-45 lbs or so for now since I was a little underweight before hand. At the last apt I was up 2 lbs…so quite a ways to go.

Margi- That’s precisely why its easier to keep it to yourself. Once it’s a done deal you are much less likely to hear all the comments about why someone may dislike the names you picked. So glad your level 2 went great and the babies are looking good. Also glad to hear your cervix is holding out nice and long and that the hematoma is smaller. Hoping you get off bedrest soon and can go out shopping and preparing for those babies.

Hi Ladies! Since I was the first in our awesome group to deliver I have decided to start a thread in Parents after treatment, titled Beautiful Babies Born in 2011/2012. I'm hoping you will all join me and that we can share our journeys as new and new baby(ies) Mommas! I think it will be a great place to get advice, vent, etc. Can't wait to hear from everyone. Of course I will still be stalking and posting over here for awhile as well.

Ryann: Good thing getting her checked out. Hopefully, she's just having an off day. As they get older, they start to have longer sleep cycles and times of less activity due to crowding.

kat- yes girl its kinda ugly but i really want to pay for one so i get to get a sneak peak. but dh says just be patient then says lol that is a long time from now. Some crazy mess about insurance wanting justification for more us and at present they do not have anything that puts me at high risk.

Nwwhiz-That is a real bummer I take it your not doing the NT scan to check for downs? We did and its the only reason we got an early one. I think that's something they recommend if you are over 35 though because I never did that test with my previous pregnancy's. Well summer's tend to go by quick so hopefully this one does too for you!

Ryann -- I hope Barbara is right and she's just sleeping more and is crowded. Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. As FTM's none of us know what to expect sometimes. A hundred times a day I ask myself "is this normal in pregnancy?" I have no idea most of the time. It's normal to worry I guess.

Kat -- Congrats on finding out so early it's a baby boy! How exciting just to KNOW.

AFM -- Had a nice dinner with a girlfriend last night and she gave me her bassinet to sue. So cute. I'm very thankful. I also want to rant about my baby shower. My aunt is throwing it at a Golf Club banquet facility. It's really nice. And unfortunately expensive. I have to guarantee a minimum of 45 guests. Due to family weddings and events on both sides, DH and I choose Sunday 8/7 for the shower. Now I'm getting emails from a lot of my close friends who I not only attended their showers but hosted some of their wedding/baby showers that they're "disappointed" but are making vacation plans and that week works well for their husband or today it was my brother from California will be in town and I don't think I can make it. Blah, blah, blah. One of my friends even went as far as to call the place the shower will be held to find out what other dates are available then emails me that she has "good news" that only if I change the date she can attend. Nevermind that the date she choose my husband is working. And this was AFTER the invites went out. I'm just so pissed off and disgusted that people who I've been there for can't set aside a few hours on a Sunday for me. This is why I had my aunt send out the invites 8 weeks in advance. I just want to cancel the whole thing! I'm afraid there will only be 20 people and my family is stuck paying for 45 regardless at $20 per person. There's my rant.

AFM, 37 weeks today! Which means only 2 weeks until delivery day, woo-hoo! Now, if I could just have these next 2 weeks speed up a little, I'd have an even bigger smile on my face.

Thanks so much ladies! I'm hooked up right now and her little heart rate is perfect and responsive. I don't know why I can't feel her?? The weird thing is (and nobody scold me) I hadn't felt much of her since Monday...they said she may be in a position that makes it harder for me to feel her. Who knows! But, crisis averted! Thanks for all your prayers!!!
