AFM - Bloodwork today went well I'm assuming They said no call means you do not change the protocol so I will be sticking with the PIO shots and my estrogen pills for another week! The countdown to beta day...7 days. Hopefully will go by quicking as I leave tomorrow morning for SC!! I will be catching up on some sun, reading and R&R so that should make the time go quickly. I will probably be a little MIA as I won't have internet connection at the place we are staying, but I will for sure check in on all these exciting betas & U/S we have going on this week! KBanks: Quick 2 cents--I highly recommend acupuncture! It made me feel much more relaxed. I used it during stims, and after ET for my presently successful cycle. It certainly can't "hurt" any, and can possibly help. Best of luck to you!!

Wasn't Alleyk supposed to have a 3rd beta today? I keep checking in for an update but haven't seen one.

RMB -- I'm with you on this wait between beta and u/s seeming FOREVER long. I was warned of that but I couldn't totally understand it until now.

Adkelp- For my 30th birthday, Dh took me to the Rockies, we stayed in Cardondale (just a few miles from Aspen with the beautiful mountains of course) but we got to throw snowballs in July! It was the best trip ever, now that some of my family live in Denver I have every reason to go back! Maybe we can go back for my 35th birthday in 3 weeks but I have no plans made right yet. Kind of thinking Las Vegas, "maybe" but I want dh to surprise me!

MadameX- Sending you hugs and comfort tonight from all of us. We know anything worth having in life is not meant to be easy. Please take the time you need and we are here when you are ready to jump back on the IVF train.

Nancy- I thought AlleyK was suppose to have her 3rd beta too, I hope she is okay tonight.

Dream, Have fun in South Carolina. What part of the Carolinas will you be vacationing in? So much Southern charm there with the big front porches and of course Paula Dean, but my heart belonged to Charleston too. The other day I did pop in James Taylor CD and listen to "In my mind I'm going to Carolina."

AFM: Haven't poas yet, (whether not spoil my weekend) so we wait till next week! I'm off this weekend and going fishing and snorkeling out on the jetties with dh.

Kbanks-I am doing acupuncture for the first time this cycle. I will be doing it once a week prior and then ET before and after. It is SO RELAXING at least for me Cant hurt! Good luck with what you choose

Moorebaby-Glad to see a familar friend! Praying for you and DH! Did you change protocols? Any DHEA? Supplements? We have MF as well and we have had very poor outcomes with eggs...fertilization and embryos they question my egg quality but then tell me some of my testing is good! Can you say confused Wishing you a fabulous cycle! glad you have the summer off now time to relax and as we call it in my house....BABY SEASON IS HERE!! Good luck

Hi there ladies! I went to a baby shower today. It was a little painful, but I couldn't help but be excited for her as well.... Just difficult when it is the very thing you want so badly but not you celebrating it. I talked to my RE today for my 3 day embie report and decided to go with the accupuncture. You are all right, it can't hurt . As far as the 3 day report goes, all 11 are all doing amazing! As of this morning, 1 embie is a bit slower, at a 5 cell. 9 others are between 6-8 cells, and 1 more is ahead of the pack at the compacting moreala stage already. We are set for our ET on Monday at 2:15 with accupuncture before and after. We will be transfering 2 and the rest that are good will be frozen. I hope you are all having a great weekend! -Katie

I have my 3rd beta 16dp5dt - 1350! really happy about that.

I see you and RMB have your U/S on the 29th... what date was your retrieval, and transfers? I was trying to plan out my U/S with my nurse and I was thinking it would be on Friday the 1st. She said it isn't until July 24th... Isn't that REALLY late?!

I don't want to wait any longer than I have to! What date to we use to start counting how far along we are? My retrieval was on June 3rd and the transfer was on the 8th.

Any help on figuring this out would be great!!!!

Yippeee for your great 3rd beta!!!! Wonderful news. Yes, the 24th seems late for an u/s. The paperwork my clinic gave me said "2 weeks after your 3rd positive pregnancy test <3rd beta> you will have an u/s" So to be exactly 2 weeks, my u/s should be 7/1; however, when the nurse called me she said I could schedule it for the 28, 29th, or 30th. I chose the 29th. I should be 6 weeks 6 days on that date and should see the heartbeat. I would think your u/s would be no later than 7/8. You should call again and see about that. July 24th makes it 4 weeks after your last beta.

This time mine was an FET so I just googled "FET due date calculator" to get an approximate on my dute date. I just now googled and using your dates, it says your due date is Feb 23rd. http://www.ivf.ca/duedate.php

Alleykittie - I had my ultrasound scheduled 2 wks from my first beta. Every RE is diff. July 24th sounds way to far away. Maybe she got confused, or maybe that's just how they do it. You had a really nice 3rd beta! Congrats!!! And to count how far along you are, start with the retrieval date, that would be ovulation. How are you feeling so far? We have the same retreival date.
